Why I Love Street Fighter 2!
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/why-i-love-street-fighter-2/
Why I Love Street Fighter 2!
My first experience playing Street Fighter 2 wasn’t on the SNES, or in the arcades. No, it was on the Mega Drive (the Champion Edition). For a solid year after its release on the SNES I never played it. Twas a thing of wonder, especially being a Master System owner and avid reader of Sega Power.
The advert was amazing, I still have this image of a recoiling Blanka in my mind which still brings a smile to my face (his mum wouldn’t be impressed… ). I watched it being played in the arcades (wasn’t allowed to go in) and on TV shows like Gamesmaster. I couldn’t believe that such a thing could be owned at home that wasn’t inexplicably overpriced (like the Neo Geo). Sega Power initially reported that the Mega Drive couldn’t handle SF2. It took a 24 Megabit cartridge and the invention of a Mega Drive six-button joypad for it to be realised, but my oh my was it worth the wait! A friend of mine from primary school got it and I was immediately round there to check it out. Even lumbered with a normal control pad and having to press select to switch between punch and kick, it was unbelievable. I think I spent the whole day there, my friend’s brother getting us some Fruit Tella for sustenance.
The evolution of SF2 is a strange and wonderful thing. I’ve never known a solitary game (forget the sequels) to have so many incarnations and such a following. Thousands still download it on the Microsoft and Nintendo networks for play on next gen consoles. I reckon I’ve been exposed to around ten versions of it and bar the NES version, they’ve all been great. That’s including the Master System version!
The original incarnation in the arcades was “The World Warrior” and was credited with kickstarting a plethora of titles of the same genre – I can name Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting and Virtua Fighter just off the top of my head. Just as the title was going to the SNES and various home computers, Capcom then released the Champion Edition, allowing you to play as the four bosses. Woof. I’ve waxed lyrical about the SNES version but one which I didn’t expect to be any good was the Amiga version which runs on an A500+ (that’s 1MB of ram) and without the tack-ons that are possible with a cartridge, but it’s great! Given it’s a lot less colourful than the SNES version and you only have one kick and one punch button (possibly more with using the keyboard? I forget… ) but it’s just as fluid and playable. Capcom’s versatility across the platforms cannot be understated and although certain third parties have assisted (TecToy and er, Yoko Soft) SF2’s integrity remains intact.
By the time the Champion Edition arrived on the Mega Drive, Capcom had already released the Hyper Edition (Champion plus extra speeds) for the SNES which turned out to be so popular it actually came as a bundled title with the console for a while. Capcom then packaged the “Hyper” section on the same Mega Drive cart, genius! So MD owners were able to enjoy a port of the original Champ edition and the quicker (set your own speed) Hyper Edition, phwooaaaar. The release of Fatal Fury on the MD should have been a much celebrated thing (I think it’s great) but SF2 and the hype surrounding it, ruled.
And then there was Super Street Fighter 2, which I didn’t embrace myself but was a solid extension to the SF2 license in the arcades and on the 16-bit.
What made SF2 so special? There’s a whole load of things but for me, the cheer pickupability (yes I’ve just made that word up) of it made it difficult to put away. Button mashers and more calculated gamers alike were able to pick it up, enjoy it for a while, then put it back down. Then pick it up again. With the Hyper Edition, that’s twelve different approaches and twelve different ways you can win the game – choosing different characters when you saw fit. You might not get on with Guile one day, so why not try smashing it (quite literally) with E Honda the next? This subtle variation in the special moves pandered to different types of gamers also. With Ryu and Ken, players can be more reactive as their moves can be pulled off quickly and effortlessly. Whereas with Guile and Blanka, you’d need to think a few moves ahead (more like a chess player) as their moves (mostly) need charging for a few seconds. For the button mashers, Vega or Chun Li are perfect, many a time I’ve wanted to throttle a friend who beat me simply by bouncing around as fast as they can and doing annoying sliding moves. The more I think about it, the more obvious SF2’s allure becomes. And I haven’t even mentioned the bonus stages yet, don’t think I’ll ever get fed up of smashing that car.
Ryu and Ken are cool, end of story. Memories of a graphic novel, possibly a comic vaguely come to mind, but despite that, these two characters are the epitome of cool. Ken in his garish Ferrari red-esque red Gi and Ryu in his classic understated white – muscles rippling with a death stare. Too. Cool. For. School. I think Capcom ruined it in the later SF4, their tiny heads on ridiculous bodies make them look like the goombas from the Super Mario film. Ryu or Ken? Ken for me, mainly because I like Ferrari red. I’ve never known a game to make two identical character sets (bar the difference in their strong throws, they’re identical) work so well as two different characters. Although Midway have tried it in the Mortal Kombat series with varying degrees of success (camp robot anyone?). There are myths that Ken is quicker and that Ryu hits harder but we’ve run extensive tests here at AA (we love a good test we do) and they’re the same. I can’t account for the Ryu myth but the Ken quickness could be explained by the brighter colours and less detail of the Gi which creates an optical illusion of sorts. Anyway, like every boy at school has a favourite football team, every boy (or girl) also has his/her favourite character. Which brings me nicely to…
Cosplay. Street Fighter 2 is also great as it traverses the sexes. Even though the girls at high school didn’t say it out loud (aloud?), there’s guaranteed to be a few female SF2 fans there. On a recent trip to Tokyo (which you can read about here) I saw a few magazines/posters advertising Cosplay events. Boys, we all wanted to meet Chun Li in the 90s yes? Google “Street Fighter 2 cosplay” and thank me later, as there were clearly girls in the 90s who wanted to be Chun Li. My, did she kick some of the proverbial. Scores of Japanese girls still play SF2 and its derivatives, when you can find them in amongst all the RPG and rhythm games.
Capcom discovered gold and they (justifiably) rinsed it for all it was worth. You can still find the original arcade machines now. I found an interesting version of the Champion edition earlier this year, whereby you could only play as the character’s third (I think) colour. It was a treat to control brown Guile (oo er) with the original left-hand joystick and right-hand buttons combo, although I think I made it to fight three before I ran out of 50p coins. What I wouldn’t give to have one of those machines! Er, replicas are going for £1400 and originals upwards of £5000 if anyone wants to get us an early Christmas present…

Does Michael Griswold's M3 System Work? Here's My Relationships Reunited Review
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/does-michael-griswolds-m3-system-work-heres-my-relationships-reunited-review/
Does Michael Griswold's M3 System Work? Here's My Relationships Reunited Review
There’s a popular new ‘guru’ on the breakup recovery scene. His name is Michael Griswold, and he’s released a product that I was instantly intrigued by, called the M3 System, also called Relationships Reunited. I was intrigued because of the free informative content and the high quality video broadcast. So, I decided to purchase the program. Here’s what I answer when people ask me: “Does the M3 System Work?”
First of all, like any book or video product, it works if you are willing to put in the hard work. A lot of people think that simply buying a product will solve their problems. This isn’t the case. What’s very cool about this product, however, is the information is divided in easy to digest video clips, and very well organized. If you have a specific problem in your breakup, then you can find what you’re looking for, and instantly be watching advice from Griswold himself.
But there’s additional reasons why I think the M3 System is a worthwhile product. It’s different from what’s been released in the past. The older ‘gurus’ all seemed to have a lot of overlapping advice, such as ignoring your ex, playing particular mind games to get back your ex, but Reunited Relationships M3 System instead uses a more heartfelt approach, without coming off as a weak person. This is the first system I’ve reviewed that explains how to do this, and come out a winner.
What I didn’t like so much about the product is that some of the videos could have been produced better. Also, I wouldn’t mind additional reading materials. But even having said that, the quality of content in the video tutorials cannot be denied. There are even videos on new concepts like online dating and Facebook dating. I believe this is worth your while if you want to get your ex back. These videos will teach you exactly how to do so.
But don’t take my word for it. Go take a look for yourself, at my M3 System Review.

T-Shirt Designers Say "Black Icons Are Cool"
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/t-shirt-designers-say-black-icons-are-cool-2/
T-Shirt Designers Say "Black Icons Are Cool"
What’s hip in t-shirt design, you ask? T-shirt designers say nothing’s cooler than Black Icons. Yes, they mean African American Pop Icons…visionaries, entertainers, athletes, and activists. And why are t-shirts with the likes of Muhammad Ali, Richard Pryor, George Clinton, and Martin Luther King Junior all the rage? Because these brothers are cool….real cool. Is it the color of their skin? Is it their fame? Is it their struggle? Is it what they’ve accomplished? It’s all of that, but most of all it’s because they’re all leaders in their own right. And people, regardless of race, respect and admire people who take charge. And if you’re a brother in charge, well then more power to ya.
Some fashion critics say it’s also the Hip Hop movement that’s bringing famous brothers and sisters to the fashion forefront. Recent polls show that Hip Hop gear is the most popular attire for American kids in their early teens to mid-twenties. Thanks to Hip Hop pioneers like Russell Simmons, chairman & CEO of Rush Communications, which founded Def Jam Recordings and Phat Farm Clothing and Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment and Sean John Clothing, the Hip Hop lifestyle has gone mainstream. Kids and young adults from all over the world are embracing the music, clothing, and swaggerous way of living that is Hip Hop.
So who’s wearing black icon tees? Everyone…from the girl next door to the biggest names in entertainment and sports…Rappers, Singers, Actors, Athletes, street kids, and even silver spooners are repping their favorite black icon.
P. Diddy has been sporting t-shirts embellished with images of his friend and rap prodigy the late Notorious BIG, since shortly after his death. Diddy has also been known to wear other late greats such as Marvin Gaye and Jam Master Jay. Rappers The Game and Snoop Dogg have been photographed wearing their West Coast mentor and friend Tupac Shakur. Producer, songwriter Wyclef Jean has been spotted wearing Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King Junior, and Dr. Malcolm X Shabazz.
Kids all over America are wearing black icons…black inner city youth and white suburbanites alike. The fad which started in the streets probably made it to the burbs by way of television through music videos and other forms of entertainment.
In a predominantly white middle school in New Jersey one student has came up with an interesting class project for black history month. He has proposed that on the first Friday in February everyone in his history class wear a t-shirt embellished with a black icon. They will get partial credit for participating in the project, but will be graded on how well they deliver a biographical speech about the icon they are wearing.
Who’s popular? O.K., so now you’re wondering if it is cool to wear any old black icon on your chest. Well, the answer is yes, but in case you don’t want to chance it, here is a list of some of the more popular black icon tees.
Music: Bob Marley, Ray Charles, Aaliyah, Jimi Hendrix, Rick James, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Miles Davis, Tupac. Sports: Muhammad Ali, Jackie Robinson, Don King, Dr. J., 1968 Olympic Protest, Jim Brown. Activists: Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Rosa Parks. T.V. & Movie Personalities: Richard Pryor, Red Foxx as Fred Sanford, Jimmy Walker as JJ, Fred Berry as Rerun, Fat Albert.
How much do the cost and where are they sold? These shirts usually cost between $12 on the very low end to $30 on the high end. But the average price for a quality tee shirt is about 20 bucks. You’ll find these shirts just about anywhere you look. Huge department stores like Target and Wal*Mart carry them, but the cooler, more original shirts can be found in the small boutique type apparel stores in most major cities or on the Internet.

Make Your Ex Jealous - Tips to Get Your Boyfriend Back
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/make-your-ex-jealous-tips-to-get-your-boyfriend-back/
Make Your Ex Jealous - Tips to Get Your Boyfriend Back
Making your ex boyfriend jealous is one sure way to get his attention. After being dumped, your ex is still watching you to see what kind of reaction you’re having. He actually hopes to see you upset: not because he wants to hurt you, but because he wants to know you still love him. The days or weeks after your break up are prime time to plant seeds of jealousy in your ex’s head, and you can do this in a number of ways.
Before you do anything however, you need to carefully consider your options. There’s a big difference between making your ex-boyfriend feel pangs of jealousy and playing mind-games designed to bring him back to you. Getting back together through the use of manipulation will lead to an unstable relationship, meaning you’ll only end up breaking up again. In order to win back your boyfriend you’ll first need to make your ex want you back. This requires using just enough ‘good’ jealousy to get the job done, while avoiding ‘bad’ jealousy by not going overboard.
One of the best ways to make your ex jealous? By shedding the shackles of your break as if it means nothing to you. When your boyfriend dumps you, don’t fight the break up. Instead, agree with it and accept it immediately. The very next day let him see you out with friends, smiling and laughing and acting as if nothing happened. Don’t call him, email him, or text-message your ex. Ignore any ex-boyfriend contact. If you’re around him by default, don’t even look his way.
By going on with your life, you’re casting grave doubts over his decision to end your relationship. Suddenly he’s standing there all alone, and you’re surrounded by people you’re having fun with. Instead of seeing you at home, depressed, and crying over the break up… he’s seeing you act as if you’ve suddenly been set free. He’ll start wondering how much you really cared about him to begin with, and realize that maybe he was the one dependent on you (and not the other way around). By doing this you’re not only making your ex-boyfriend jealous, you’re also shattering his whole opinion of the break up… and it might even shock him into wanting you back immediately, before you get away!
Another great way to breed jealousy: flirting with another guy. However, you should be extremely cautious if you decide to do this. Playing silly games with your ex boyfriend could destroy any chance you have of getting back together with him. Mind games, head games… these things aren’t cool. Guys are very anti-drama, and the more involved you make this the worse off it’ll be even if you do end up boyfriend and girlfriend again. It’s possible that your ex could resent you for what he perceives to be an indiscretion while the two of you were on a break.
That being said, there’s nothing much wrong with your ex seeing that suddenly he has a little competition. A good way to make your ex feel jealous is to go out with a group of friends, both guys and girls. This kind of dynamic is a fun way to get your mind off the break up, and you can interact with other guys as well. And the more people you involve, the better the chance that word of it will get back to your ex. You can talk, laugh, flirt, and have fun with other guys… after all, your ex broke up with you. He has no opinion on what you should be doing and no control over you anymore, but in the back of his mind he’ll be jealous of all the stuff you’re up to. No guy wants to see his ex dating or seeing another man, even after having broken up with her. And especially if your ex hasn’t moved on himself just yet.
If you choose to use another guy to create jealousy with an ex boyfriend, there are two cardinal rules to follow: first, never try it with any of his friends. Not only is it least likely to work, but you’re going to damage any future relationship you’ll have with your boyfriend once you do end up getting your ex back. And second, never let it go too far. Not if you want to date him again. If you’re looking for a new relationship? Go for it. But if you’re still in love with your ex-boyfriend and still want him back in your life, you can’t do anything that will require an explanation later on. Think about the reverse scenario: if you wouldn’t want him doing it to you, it’s probably off-limits.

Mutants: Genetic Gladiators Guide
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/mutants-genetic-gladiators-guide/
Mutants: Genetic Gladiators Guide
Mutants: Genetic Gladiators is a cool breeding game that lets you discover and breed different types of mutants using a specific gene.
Each mutant has their own strength and weaknesses depend on the genes they have.
Genes
There are primarily 6 types of genes that you can use, but only 3 will be available at first. They are Saber, Necro, Cyber, Zoomorph, Galactic and Mythic. There is a chain effect that works like this:
Saber beats Necro and Mythic but is weak against Cyber and Zoomorph.
Necro beats Cyber and Galactic but is weak against Saber and Mythic.
Cyber beats Saber and Zoomorph but is weak against Necro and Galactic.
Each mutant can have either the same genes or is paired with another gene. You can then work out different strategies and figure out how to build your team.
Breeding
You can breed all the different genes and get all sorts of different mutants from it. If you like the undead looking like creatures, then Necro is the way to go for you. If you like human looking creatures, Saber should be your choice. Cyber is primarily robots, giving you the futuristic mutant. Galactic are alien like creatures while mythic are more “mythology” type mutants. You can breed them and get a mix of 2 genes.
The benefit of having 2 genes allows you to have 2 different genetic attacks, allowing you more flexibility when fighting in campaign and PvP mode. Double similar genes is good in the sense that you do get an area of effect(AoE) attack, making it useful to fight up to 3 mutants at once.
It all comes down to preference on what you like the most. If you like AoE attacks, then you will like the double similar gene mutants. If you enjoy a variety of attacks, then a mixed gene mutant will suit you better.
Whatever your choice may be, you have the flexibility to adjust your PvP and campaign team to have a better chance of defeating your enemies.
PvP Tournament
Every 14 days, there will be a PvP tournament which you can participate and win some cool prizes. The most lucrative prize you can win is the Gold Star. What that does is it allows you to breed a really strong mutant.
Bronze Star – Breed 2 level 10 mutants with this and it will get you a bronze version mutant which is 10% stronger.
Silver Star – Breed 2 level 15 bronze mutants and net you a silver version which is 30% stronger.
Gold Star – Nets you a 75% stronger mutant when you breed 2 level 20 silver mutants.
As you can see, your goal is to get the gold mutant and be the strongest of them all!

Simulation Games
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/simulation-games-2/
Simulation Games
Simulation games create a whole new world to explore, one that is virtually realistic. They represent a virtual environment, with virtual characters having interesting and life-like interactions between the various components of a virtual world. The graphics and sounds are often amazingly close to reality. Everything seems real, from the weather conditions over the Pacific in air combat games to the geography of lands in strategy games.
They are a new, higher pedestal of gaming, often combining elements of skill, chance and strategy, (like for a civilization building game), wherein real as well as fictional worlds may be simulated and often you see the world through the eyes of a fictitious character.
There is a whole colorful range of simulation games to pick from. Some games allow you to act as a creator and manage a world, like the Sim City series that include virtual city planning and building with varied levels of infrastructure. Another is the Tycoon games, which give you the opportunity to own, build, manage and upgrade your own theme park, restaurant, or even a zoo. Perhaps the most popular simulation games are the driving and racing games, such as Motoracer, Need for Speed, and Monster Madness. Also, providing an adrenalin rush are the Air Combat Flight Games, where you can pick your mission, and be equipped with a supply of ammunition to carry it out. Other fighters may also be simulated to give the game a further realistic touch. In a few of the flight simulator games, you could look into are Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 3, Lock on: Modern Air Combat, Flight Deck 2, Falcon 4.0, and Strike Fighters, Project 1.
Life games are like living in a game, only in the skin of your fictitious character that interacts with the different components of the virtual world. Adventure games like Tomb Raider, Role Play and Dating Games to name a few, are popular, and reside at top of the gaming entertainment charts.
Simulation games offer a virtual environment that allows players to discover, create, destroy, improvise, upgrade, and imagine.

Brian Regan-A Comedian For All
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/brian-regan-a-comedian-for-all/
Brian Regan-A Comedian For All
The Situation
There are plenty of really funny individuals out there and many of them merit a great deal of respect for the time and energy they put into their trade. And, as a people, we like to laugh. Evidence of this fact is manifest in the myriad sitcoms, movies, and even TV stations dedicated to comedy. From visual puns to stand-up, comedy takes on many styles and forms of presentation.
The Problem
Ever since elementary school, some self-proclaimed comedians have realized that they can get a shock-inspired laugh by doing or saying something completely inappropriate. Boys would write cuss words in a comic book and girls would . . . well, I’m not sure what girls did. They had cooties when I was in elementary school. But I’m sure they had their nastiness as well. The problem? Some people never grew out of it. Many comedians think that they can be funnier by simply applying more of the same principles they picked up when they were six. The result is a slew of comedians who substitute their inability to be creative with inappropriate language, themes, and gestures that still seem to make people laugh. This type of comedy is not only degrading to those who listen to it, but loses its appeal over time.
A Clean Comic?
This is where Brian Regan comes in. While other good comedians certainly exist, he is the first stand-up comedian that I not only enjoy, but would recommend unabashedly to friends, siblings, acquaintances, co-workers, etc. old and young alike. His goofy physical and vivacious vocal intonation keeps his younger fans entertained. Meanwhile, his allusion to near-universal human experiences tug on the memories of his older crowds. This is where Brian sets himself apart as an entertainer. He does not stoop to vulgarity to make a funny point. Instead, Brian brings the every day into a humorous light. For example, in talking about childhood games like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, Regan observes, “What are adults thinking? ‘Hey, hey, we’re having a whole bunch of kids over – big party. We’re going to blindfold one… give him something sharp… spin him around, and let him go!'”
Brian’s style of humor coupled with a talented presentation of his material has earned Regan a fan base throughout the US. His career has flourished as he continues to tour the States, selling out performance halls and splitting some sides on his way. As a friend, I recommend looking into getting the CD or DVD that are available on his site or sampling some of his material elsewhere online. I promise you’ll be glad you did.

Promotional Baseball Caps - Promotions That Can Go Anywhere
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/promotional-baseball-caps-promotions-that-can-go-anywhere/
Promotional Baseball Caps - Promotions That Can Go Anywhere
A mobile promotional activity is something that no promotional company will pass up on. In fact, with the rising costs of media advertising, mobility in promotions have sort of replaced advertising. Far more efficient than advertising is the fact that in promotions, the target market receives samples of the products along with other promotional gifts that help to endear each client to the business. This is why popular promotional gifts like Promotional Baseball Caps are frequently used by a good number of companies and industries.
Why Baseball Caps Are Popular
All promotional gifts have their own degree of usefulness. Some however are more useful than others especially if they can be used in various situations. This is exactly the case of baseball caps. Although the name implies something worn by baseball players, in reality, these caps can be worn by anybody in any of the following situations:
Aside from watching a baseball game, baseball caps are very useful to keep your top cool during outdoor activities such as hiking, having fun at the beach, watching a game of golf where there are few shades, and many others.
Promotional Baseball Caps can also be worn on any ordinary day. Whether one is going to the market or one simply wants to visit friends, these caps can make anyone look cool.
On the part of promotional companies, these caps can be a big help to them because of the fact that they are generally cheaper compared to shirts, towels, or umbrellas bought for promotional purposes. This way, even if a company has to work on a limited budget, many recipients will be benefited and the company will be known to a wider population.
Designing Promotional Baseball Caps
To make Promotional Baseball Caps a sure hit in promotions, the following tips will be helpful:
Choose those caps whose colors are not the same as the logo or the name of the company. Although most of these caps come in white color, there are some that come in blue, red, green, or gray colors.
Make sure that the front area of your caps is spacious enough to accommodate the printing of the name or logo of the company. This is an important requisite toward making the public aware that the baseball cap as is promotional gift courtesy of a specific company. In return, this will help make the company a household name to all.

Decking Out Your 50's Sock Hop with Themed Crafts

Decking Out Your 50's Sock Hop with Themed Crafts
When it comes to popular party crafts, nothing is more popular than the 50s sock hop. Although the time period from the 1950s to the present gets larger and larger, the interest in that era doesn’t seem to waver in the slightest. People not only love the music from that time, but they also love the fashion. This is one of the main reasons why the 50s sock hop is such a popular party idea. If you are planning on having a party like this, there are some crafts that you can do to make it even more fun than you already anticipated.
Most 50s sock hops will be costume parties, so you can craft your own costume fairly easily. If you’re a girl, the main wardrobe for this era was the poodle skirt. Although they look complicated, these garments are actually easy to make. If you already have a long circle skirt, then your job is already half done. The most important aspect of a poodle skirt is the poodle. You can make this out of felt. Most are made of black, white, or pink depending on the color of the skirt.
Another cool craft you can do for your 50s sock hop is make a faux jukebox. This can be made to fit right over your current stereo. If you are pressed for time, you can easily make this with a large piece of cardboard and several colors of paint. Find a picture of a jukebox for inspiration. When you’re done, prop it against your stereo with a hole cut out where you access the stereo’s function. Then you’ll instantly have a rockin’ 50s sock hop.

Play a Game With Large Playing Cards
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/play-a-game-with-large-playing-cards-2/
Play a Game With Large Playing Cards
There are a lot of different types of games that people use playing cards to play the game. If players want to do something unique, they can grab a deck of large playing cards and use those. These can be personalized in many different ways.
There are a lot of different games that people would love to play with a larger deck. Some people have game night once a week. This would be something different that they could throw into the mix.
Children may get a laugh out of it and think that they are cool. Adults may be able to play a joke on someone who is having another birthday. Elderly people often get jokes played on them about how they cannot see and such things as that.
These can be personalized with certain pictures or designs. The logos of businesses or organizations can be placed on these for advertising purposes. If it is a place that regularly uses these, they may order many of them and have their logo on everything that they order.
These are not going to be sold in a lot of places though. Every person who is going to be playing a certain game will have different ways that they will play the same game. As long as all of the players agree, it can be fun.
There are many different games that can be played using the bigger deck. Kids like them to play all of their children’s games. There are a lot of people that would like to have a larger deck to play with.
They would not be used in any kind of game that is a tournament or a contest that people would be playing to win a prize. It is important that these games have a standard deck. There are many cards that are made that are standard but a larger size may not be allowed in a card game.
There is no reason why it cannot be used as fun though. Family game night or a night at a friend’s house would allow for these to be used. Since these are made with a bigger card, they are going to have larger pictures and the print on them can be larger.
For someone who has a difficult time hanging on to the smaller cards, these make a good alternative. They can see them better and be able to get a grip on them. With these, they do not have to worry about dropping them or being able to see what card they are playing.
Dealing with these problems for anyone can cause the game to be frustrating for them. The bigger deck can relieve the stress from these things. A lot of people can benefit from these.
There are so many different things that people can put on these cards to personalize them. There are many designs that people use. Using someone’s creative side will help to make a good design. There is not going to be any wrong designs because they are going to be the person’s own unique deck.
Ordering these does not have to be difficult either. Everybody can design their own cards or they can use designs that are premade. Most people like the idea of being able to add pictures and logos though.
It can be a lot of fun to come up with a design. There will be a lot of different types of things that people can come up with. There does not have to be a specific picture though. Large playing cards can have many different solid colors along with a business logo or a phrase of some sort too.

5 Clubs/Bars to Check Out When in Copenhagen
Today I will give you guys the hidden gems of Copenhagen. Cool bars and places that I recommend checking out. Who knows, you might even bump into me there!
1. Meat-town Meat-town aka. Kodbyen is by day the places for commodity shopping for restaurants or other food related businesses. By night it’s a social hot spot for downtown Copenhagen. There are several cool venues worth checking out in Meat-town such as Karriere bar, or Jolenes for a more hippy approach. It’s a much older crowd ranging from 25-30, the bar prices are average to high and the music seems to be well thought out, compared to other places you might stumble upon in Copenhagen. If you like an older crowd and a different experience then your typical nightclubs, then Meat-town isn’t a bad place to check out.
address: Kodbyen Halmtorvet 9-29 1700 Kobenhavn V Open hours: 10pm – 5am
2. Heidi’s Bier Bar Heidi’s bier bar has 2 floors. Both floors has a fussball table, they offer a huge range of different beers, so if you’re a beer enthusiast you’ll like this place. The crowd is older, ranging from 24-28 and they have a dancefloor that it quite small but doable. It’s a dim lighted place and the barmaids are all neatly dressed in a german maid outfits. There’s no entrance fee but there is a wardrobe fee of 20kr. I usually just sneak in and drop my jacket at a table with a friend, I’m cheap.
address: Heidi’s Bier Bar Vestergade 18 1456 Kobenhavn K
3. Karel Fullname Karel Van Mander is a night club situated right next to the big Magasin Shopping Center and can be reached by the walking street or from Kongs Nytorv Metro st. Karel boost an awesome looking club with exquisite interior design and probably has the hottest girls in town, scrambling around in the venue. They have an outdoor area which is perfect for the summer time and a good sized dance floor in the middle. The music is mostly house and dance tunes with a mix of popular songs from current times. The age group ranges from 18-25. However the age requirements changes from Thursdays to Saturdays. The bar prices are sadly really high, but if you got money to blow, then you won’t look better doing it anywhere, than here. Karel can boost that they attract the most hottest girls in Copenhagen, so if you’re looking to hook up with a nice little turbo, then look no further than here. There are an abundance of turbos here. The entrance price is around 100dkk, but free wardrobe.
address: Karel van Mander Lille Kongensgade 16 1074 Kobenhavn K open hours: 10pm-5am
4. Happy Pig The Happy pig is situated near skindergade. It has a pretty young crowd from 21-25. It has 2dance floors on the top floor and also a live band area down stairs, where they regularly play live music. The bar prices are actually quite low and people are generally quite friendly. There’s a 20dkk wardrobe fee and it ain’t optional. They broadcast football games, when there are big matches, so you might want to check that out, if you’re football interested.
address: Den Glade Gris Lille Kannikestraede 3 1170 Kobenhavn K opening hours: 9pm-5am
5. Francis Pony Francis Pony is a student bar, but that doesn’t mean it’s slacking in terms of style. It has a young but mature crowd usually ranging from 22-24 and most of them are business students or anything equal to that. The bar prices are average to high and it has 2 floors. There’s no actual dance floor, which would be impossible since the place is pretty packed in the weekends. If you’re a student then it’s a great place to go and socialize. Free entrance and optional wardrobe. Beverage prices are a bit expensive so it’s not the best place to warm up.
Address: Francis Pony Klosterstraede 23 1157 Kobenhavn K Open hours: 9pm-5am

A Flashback From Way Back

A Flashback From Way Back
Relax. You’re not having a flashback. Retro video game systems have made a massive resurgence in recent years, likely due to the fact that some kids never grow up. There seems to be a real affection among the techno-geeks out there for the original gaming systems. A cursory search of the internet will yield hundreds of results for websites dedicated to retro gaming. These systems were all the rage back in the day, and it appears that their time has come again.
Back when I was a young boy, these gaming systems were like a gift from the heavens. The only way I was able to play video games was to go downtown to the arcade. This posed a significant problem, as my parents were not too keen on the idea of letting me go downtown by myself. Furthermore, the local arcade tended to attract some shady characters. I skipped school one afternoon and went down to play Ms. Pac-Man, but I got caught by a truant officer. After that incident, my parents were only too eager to buy me the new Atari.
Man, I loved that system. The Atari 2600 had all the best games. Asteroids was, by far, my favorite game. Dude, I could play that game forever. Or so it seemed. What about Pitfall? I loved that game, too. Then, Kung-Fu Master came out! I don’t think I left my bedroom for a month. At the time, I swore I wouldn’t sleep until I rescued the fair Princess Victoria. Damn those knife throwers! To this day, my parents still blame that game for the decline in my grades that semester.
By the time the home video game market bottomed out in 1984, I had amassed a rather large collection of games. I sort of lost interest in video games around that time. I ended up giving my Atari and all of the games to my kid brother. I didn’t play it much anymore, and I was too busy trying to get a girlfriend. In retrospect, I wish I had kept that system. I would love to spend an evening playing Space Invaders! Maybe I’ll see if that arcade is still open. I wonder if girls ever go there……

Importance of Educational Video Games In A Child's Life

Importance of Educational Video Games In A Child's Life
The little kids enjoy long vacations from their schools at different times of the year, according to the adverse climactic conditions in the various continents. But the parents are always fretting over how to utilize this long break from the strict school curriculum in the most effective way for their little ones. The best way to make your toddler's summer vacation worthwhile is by gifting him / her a series of educational video games as they will provide your child a platform to experiment, to explore, to make mistakes and to learn, while having fun.
An educational video game intentionally merges gaming with an educational software in the most entertaining fashion. Gamification of education has garnered huge interest among the educators and is also capturing a permanent position in the school curriculum, as it serves as an effective teaching-aid in making students understand the nitty-gritty of Math, English vocabulary, geography, history, political Science, General Knowledge, along with Computer programming, a recent addition to the school syllabi.
If educational video games are well executed, they can provide a strong framework for inquiry and project-based learning, says Alan Gershenfeld , co-founder and president of E-Line Media , a publisher of computer and video games and a Founding Industry Fellow at Arizona State University's Center for Games and Impact .
" Games are also uniquely suited to fostering the skills necessary for navigating a complex, interconnected, rapidly changing 21st century ," he adds. Similarly, Histrionix is a leading learning company with a vision of spreading " EduPLAYtion ", that is, a seamless blend of play and education, among the younger generations. A brain-child of two history teachers Rick Brennan and Jason Darnell , this game's aim is to provide the educators and the learners an interactive, game-based curriculum on various subjects, that will help in enhancing the critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities of their players.
Some video games that can enlighten as well as entertain your child in this summer vacation are:
1) Fish School HD : It is a great game for preschoolers. It teaches numbers, letters, shapes, and colors with the help of animated fish and tries to cover basic skills taught before or during preschool curriculum. After kids work out their brains, they can have play time by tapping and dragging the fish and watching them react.
2) MinecraftEdu : A version of the famous game, Minecraft, it teaches students mathematical concepts including perimeter, area and probabilities as well as foreign languages.
3) Dinosaur Park Math : The game takes you through a dinosaur park and presents math and trivia challenges to unlock different parts of the park. The kid's job is to unlock pieces of each dinosaur by solving math problems. Once the fossils are uncovered, the guide will give facts about that specific dinosaur and the world it lived in. This app has the perfect combination of addition, subtraction, and dinosaur facts.
4) ChemBlaster : It is a web-based game designed to help players learn core chemistry concepts, including elemental symbols and 52 common ions and polyatomic compound, by blowing them to bits.
5) Games like GlobeTrotter2 and GeoGuessr help the video game lovers to learn about the states and their capitals from various countries. GeoGuessr is a game which places its player on different geographical locations and provides clues, with the help of which you have to recognize the location, whereas GlobeTrotter2 is a game which presents questions related to geography to its players in order to progress through the game.
6) There are a wide variety of video games that enhance the English vocabulary skills such as the Word Games generated by Merriam-Webster , BBC schools , Pogo. com , to name just a few. The ABC's Zoo Learning Game is the most suitable game for tiny language learners to learn the basic building blocks of English.
Just a few games have been listed here out of a plethora of more such innovative educational video games available online and in leading gaming stores all across the world. Parents can also play along with their kids- nothing brings families closer than competition.
So, parents no longer need to spend sleepless nights thinking over their child's whereabouts during the long school vacations – just a few interesting video games in your little one's game parlor will keep them away from all nuisances. Your kid will think you are a cool parent for letting them spend so much time in front of the computer, and parents will have peace of mind knowing their kids are actually furthering themselves.

A Journey Through the Seventh Generation Video Game Consoles
New Post has been published on https://www.coolgamingzone.com/a-journey-through-the-seventh-generation-video-game-consoles-2/
A Journey Through the Seventh Generation Video Game Consoles
I’ve been playing video games my whole life. It all started with a Commodore 64 when I was just 3 years old, when my parents saw my love for games and fed my ambitions. So here we are in the new year (2014) and the Eighth Generation consoles are out: Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita. They are exciting. They are sleek. They are impressive. But are they worth getting as soon as they come out?
I’m not going to argue with those who want to get them on Launch Day, but the recent launches of the PS4 and Xbox One made me start to believe it might be best to wait until the NEXT next gen consoles come out before purchasing THESE next gen consoles. Reasons? I’ve got a few.
The first one is obvious: the price tag. While it’s not going to cost you an arm & a leg to get one, the price isn’t exactly on the cheap side. I remember paying $500 (minus tax) for one of the first PS3’s. They were big and bulky but that meant they had super power! It was fun and cool to have one, but it didn’t feel more than a year later they were thinner and cheaper. If I could of waited a year, I could of had one for $200 cheaper. Now it’s not a big deal to some people, but upon retrospect, I could done some things with that $200. Most likely I would of lost it betting on long shots at the track but still, I missed out on adding another memory to my life! It may not sound like a big deal, but quickly these reasons start to snow ball.
Like the next reason: options for games. When you buy a next gen console on or close to launch day, you don’t have many titles to select from. And I certainly can’t think of any breakthrough games that came out specifically for that system on launch day. Take the Wii for example. When it came out, you got to play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess right off the bat. But the difference between the game on the GameCube and the Wii? You got to swing & point your remote on the Wii and the maps were completely opposite. That’s it. The graphics were the same, the enemies were the same, Link yelling when swinging his sword was the same. The reason? The game was originally made for the GameCube. When the Wii was coming out, they just added two weak features and that was that. You could make the argument that it was still cool, but when Skyward Sword came out, you could see the capabilities of the Wii come out in full force. Twilight Princess looked like child’s play in terms of maximizing the Wii’s controls (the game itself actually kicks ass and rivals Ocarina of Time & A Link to the Past in terms of best Zelda games ever in my opinion).
Okay, back to the topic. This is just one of many examples of the types of games coming out on launch day. They mostly are games that are ports from the last generation of systems or games that haven’t maximized the new system capabilities. And you don’t have that many to choose from. And as you know, video games can sometimes be a dime a dozen and finding gems can take time. You generally have to wait months for a good selection of games to come out and wait even longer to have a good collection of top notch games to choose from.
Going back to when the Wii came out, I was excited about Metroid Prime 3, but after that, what were my choices? Not much. After awhile I just stopped looking and focused only on names I recognized (Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Zelda, etc.) About 2 weeks ago I went through the titles just for the Wii system and couldn’t believe the bevy of games I missed out on! Now it’s my fault I didn’t pay more attention, but it goes to show how much first impressions can make.
Now let me ask you, are you better at playing games the first time through or the second time? How about the third time? I already know the answer, the more you play, the better you get. This applies to almost everything in life. So why do we expect so much flawlessness on launch day? There were lots of reports of PS4’s and Xbox One’s not working right out of the box. In terms of percentages it’s low you are going to have problems. But what if you do have a problem? Ask all the people who got PS4’s on launch day and they didn’t work. They had to call Sony, be put on hold because many others are calling on launch day with “issues” such as not being technologically savvy to sync their controller to their console. Then they had to spend an hour going through every possible way to get the PS4 to work. When it doesn’t work, they then had to wait for Sony to ship them a box to get it fixed or get a new one, which could take weeks. It was a hassle. So while the odds are you’re going to have a good system, this is still a possibility. To me, it feels like it’s better to wait it out as the console makers figure out how to perfect getting the console from the factory to your hands with as little issues as possible.
Last but not least, as technology improves, so does the console. But now you have to pay extra, rather than getting it in updated bundles. PlayStation 3 came out with Move. Xbox 360 came out with Kinect. The Wii came out with Motion Plus Controllers. The Nintendo DS came out with a larger screen, 2 cameras and an Online Store. The PSP came out with bigger storage and a microphone. Some things could be added on, some you had to buy a brand new system. The point is, if I would of waited, I wouldn’t of had to spend all that money to get all the cool features. Instead, I’ve just donated tons of money to Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony while I’m salivating and crying at all the new features I can’t have unless I want to spend more money.
The bottom line is this: to me, it’s better to wait than to buy right away. If I wait for a generation to run it’s course, I’ll have a ton of great games to play, I can get consoles with all the best features, I can get games and consoles at great prices, to me it’s win-win-win. I’m not going to argue with those who want to be on the cutting edge, but for me that time has passed. I’ve spent too much money being on the cutting edge only to see today’s technology get passed by tomorrow’s in the blink of the eye. I’m okay with letting new technology get perfected over time, at which point I can enjoy at a cheaper cost.
In the meantime, let’s enjoy the great games I, and possibly you, missed out on during the Seventh Generation of consoles! Feel free to come along for the ride!

New Surfing Game App Needed to Clean Trash From Our Shorelines

New Surfing Game App Needed to Clean Trash From Our Shorelines
Not long ago, I was talking to a young college student and excellent surfer amongst other things. Mitchell told me that his friend was taking a video shot of him surfing and coming through the tube of the surf zone, a perfect shot. Unfortunately in the picture was a piece of trash following the wave around him which was visible, and it kind of ruined the whole thing. Had it just been a digital picture, someone could have merely photo-shopped it out of the scene. Okay so, let’s talk about this, because Mitchell and I had a nice thought.
Why not create an iPhone App game, something like Angry Birds, but this one would be surfing around trash in the ocean. The object of the game would be to stay on balance, but also grab pieces of trash as you (actually your avatar in this case) go, and put these pieces of trash in your back-pack wetsuit bag. You get points for every piece of trash you pick up, and deposit into the beach trash can. You also get points anytime you tell someone to pick up the trash they threw out.
Now then, we decided it would be wise to sell this app online for $.99 and half of the money would go to the Surfrider Foundation for their work in beach clean-up awareness. Why? Because, Mitchell’s experience that day surfing should not have never occurred. No one in the US or anywhere on this planet should be throwing trash anywhere that it might get into the ocean. Just as we paint on storm drains “this water leads to the ocean” folks need to understand that trash in the sea is unacceptable.
If such an app was even one-tenth as popular as the Angry Birds game app, the amount of awareness and good that could be done would be enough to put an end to trash in the surf. If you look up “the Pacific Gyre” on YouTube you will begin to see just how serious this problem is in the world. You might also wish to look up; “trash island – Gulf of Mexico” because once you learn how bad things are.
Indeed, I am sure you’d agree to pay one-dollar for a cool iPhone game app of a Surfing Avatar collecting trash while riding a wave. So, I hope you will please consider all this and think on it. If you have any more comments or questions, please shoot me an email.

5 Cool Facts About Classic Hollywood Action Movies You Probably Don't Know

5 Cool Facts About Classic Hollywood Action Movies You Probably Don't Know
Action movies are the stuff of legend. For some, they seem like petulant little movies made with no real story. But for aficionados, action movies have everything in them — action (of course), adventure, sensuality, explosions, fast cars, and fight sequences. The list could go on.
One thing that is a bit interesting about action movie fans is the fact that true fans try to know as many details as they can about their favorite movies in so much as to almost become walking encyclopedias of knowledge & points of reference fit for your local restaurant’s trivia night. But much the same way that life works, you can’t know everything, and this is where this particular collection of facts shows its worth!
Here are five cool facts about some of your favorite action movies you never knew but will be sure to remember forever:
1. Silence of the Lambs – Most people tend to criticize big Hollywood action films by noting they have nothing to offer in real worth when it comes to an actual story worth checking out. Even though some may find this movie more suspenseful, it does keep you on the edge of your seat. ‘Silence’ is one of only a handful of films to have earned Academy Awards for the top categories (Best Picture, Director, Actor, Actress, and Screenplay).
2. The Fast and the Furious – Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, did not have drivers licenses or even permits before production of the film. While this may seem somewhat odd, many actors and actresses focus their attention on their craft from a young age, sometimes bypassing milestones like this.
3. Jaws – Nearly a fourth of the movie was filmed from the surface of the water level. This unique perspective is key to the film’s terror as audiences could feel as though they were treading water or the very least to be near “Bruce”, the name given to the mechanical shark used during filming. The fact that only about 25% of the movie was shot this way is amazing when you consider that most of the more memorable sequences of the movie are all based in the water.
4. Gone with the Wind – Though often seen as a historical drama or even (oddly enough) as a romantic movie, ‘Gone’ is celebrated for its massive undertaking & sweeping look at a bygone era over the course of many generations. While the movie tends to have beautiful imagery of plantation life, it’s the ferocious action sequences & suspenseful scenes that take your breath away. This film was the first color film to win an Oscar for Best Picture.
5. X-Men – Though they give off an air of sophistication and class, actors Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan had actually never played a game of chess in their lives. While not the most gritty action movie tidbit, it’s important to mention simply because far too many movie patrons are not willing to suspend all disbelief. It’s all about the details.
Action movies can be a lot of fun, so let the magic of cinema take you away from the drabness of everyday life.
