This week has been full of learning what it really means to be a college student. Having to balance many different assingments and makign sure your staying healthy. Throughout college it hasn’t been that much of a challenge to stay on task but I have learned that if you start to slack or skip a day of homework or skip a class, that can mess with your system. It can mess up your system and cause you to fall behind in classes.

I picked this image because it is a new type of art that is taking off in the art world. This new and up coming art is called neon art. It has always grabbed my attention due to the use of bright lights and how they are always placed in the perfect position.

This weekend was full of many activites but my favorite was going up to michigan. After my best friend got his ear pierces at Splash of color, we drived up to michigan. We got to see our best friend, waiting nervously in the car, waiting for her to come out of her dorm. I could tell my mood went up when we saw our best friend, I hadn’t seen her for over a month. We went out to eat and she showed us around michigan and told us about how her college exprience has been going.

This image describes my weekend because I spent most of my weekend in bed sick. I had went home for the weekend to celebrate my high schools homecoming and my little brother going to his junior year homecoming dance. I went home on a friday afternoon and then went out for the high schools homecoming football game. In this icy and rainy wather I got to see all of my old high school friends. I even got to see one of my oldest friends get to ride past me in one of the homecoming court cars during halftime. After standing outside in the cold, wet rain, I had enough and I went home. When I got how I Went straight to my nice warm comfy bed and went straight to sleep. The next morning I woke up with a pounding headache.

Blog #3

This weekend I went home on Saturday in the afternoon. I went home because my two best friends were in town and they convinced me and my other friend to drive home with them. Saturday night was filled with memories that will last a life time. It was filled with multiple trips to taco bell. All of us squeezing into my tiny chevy trax car and having people sit on top of each other so we could all fit into the car. Then we sit around in the basement and talk about college and how we love it. It was weird to be surround my friends that I hadn’t seen in months.

Walking from east to grand river is an interesting walk. Seeing the night life and the way people act differently the later it gets. People get more reckless, running in front of cars and crossing at random times. Walking along Grand River at night, seeing the cops drive past every couple of minutes. Hearing the loud and ground shaking music from the frat houses late at night. Going all this way just for some food because the dinning halls are already closed. Then to wait in a long line because so many others had the same idea as we did, to get food. Finally we get our food and start the walk back to east neighborhood.

Blog #1

Sitting in MTH 103 for the third time this week, I can feel myself losing my mind. At this point, in the week, I don’t even go to learn. My eyes slowly roll back into my head and anyone around could see my vein, sleep deprived eyes. I don’t have a car in the world, I just want the class to end so I can go back to my bed. The idea of my comfy bed brought me comfort in a way I never thought a college dorm bed could. My current task was now to stay awake and pay attention for the next fifty minutes and then I could go back to bed.
