“I’m a supporter of gay rights. And not a closet supporter either. From the time I was a kid, I have never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community. There are so many qualities that make up a human being… by the time I get through with all the things that I really admire about people, what they do with their private parts is probably so low on the list that it is irrelevant.”

Yeah, the biggest thing was their off screen behavior. The other stuff was bonus and not the basis of SC shipping.
I’ve detached from the fandom and still think that if they’re not together anymore, that marriage is a sham. I DGAF about any evidence to the contrary.
Not sure you feel like answering an OL question, but here goes. I saw that old post from that anon with the plane story reblogged and as we know now, that anon came from the champagne monkeys. And I was wondering if without these fake anons, would you have quit the ship sooner or didn't that play a part in your shipping? Was the wedding your the last straw for you or did you stop shipping/believing earlier? What do you think is the biggest thing shippers kept hidden from getting public?
Not really but I’ll answer since I’m bored 🤠 I never fully believed any anon story. They were just a nice bonus but I still would have shipped without them because it was all down to S** and C***’s behaviour. The wedding was pretty much the last straw but I had been slowly changing my beliefs for months before that. If I was still fully on board at that time I think it would have broken my heart but I would have continued shipping.
I don’t really know what the biggest thing was. I feel like people think that the “head” shippers had all this secret info about everything and everyone and that just wasn’t the case. At least not in my experience.

For me, it’s important not to entirely give up hope and faith in humanity. A lot of young people feel like the system has never worked for them, so why should they even bother? If there is anything positive that has come out of this time, it’s that I feel a little bit of hope too. There are changes happening. I’m so inspired by my peers and their commitment. My niece is going into high school, and when I see her Instagram posts and the things she’s talking about, it’s really special. She is only 15, and we can have a dialogue about what’s happening. So clearly there is hope in the youth. That makes me want to keep going. And more than anything, I just want to tell people that your voice does matter. The little things do matter. And continue to use your emotions. They are sometimes considered a weakness, but in this time they are very powerful. — Zendaya Coleman for InStyle magazine 2020

Have your read any of Bardugo’s other books?
I have! I’ve read her Shadow & Bone trilogy (plus the prequel novella) and Six of Crows duology. Loved them both and am excited to see the Netflix adaptations.
I haven’t read King of Scars and I think I’ll wait until the sequel comes out next year before I start. Waiting for the second Ninth House book is driving me crazy enough!!
