HEADCANON TIME AKA MY ANALYSIS ON NOAH BOOM bc i miss skam nl

we all know noah was a lonely kid, right? his mom left and even before her death, she was not around. his brother is that and his father is... where is he?? he is probably absent.

i think noah had to grow up by himself. and i think he is not used to affection or being affectionate. (i mean gijs does not strike me as a loving, or affectionate, person and maybe micha might be tender. but i don't think him alone was enough to knock noah's walls down). everyone responds to a lonely childhood in a different way. noah turned himself in to this cool untouchable, bad boy of the school. someone who is usually alone, someone who rarely smiles. (i mean, its canon, he seems super cool from afar, he is usually all by himself with a book or with a cup of coffee)

so when he starts to open up, every small gesture means the world to him. liv holding his hand in public, kissing his cheek? HE LOVES IT. the first time engel gives him a big hug, he panics a little but he decides that he likes it. ralph linking their arms together while they are walking?? he blushes but continues to listen to ralph speak enthusiastically about something. he doesn't know what to do when isa kisses his forehead that one time as a thank you and he feels excited when kes or lucas throws an arm around his shoulder while chatting. its the small gestures that gets to him, small things that have no deep meaning, they are just there as a sign of comfort. things that he didn't have as a child.

liv cracks him wide open and throws him inside a group of loving people. its liv that gets him to realize that woah, being with people might actually feel good and with the help of his new friends, he will learn to let go a bit, he will learn affection and love and trust and i think thats beautiful.

also, i will flip a table if we don't see noah becoming friends with everyone, slowly but surely, in the background of season 3 and so on (bc we are totally getting s3, s4 and more bc i said so) thanks for coming to my ted talk

Monk and his family have a huge spread in a really big Dutch magazine this month and I love it. I decided to translate some parts cause it’s a fun interview and since Monk’s instagram personality is still one big mystery to us all. Besides the parts of Monk I translated tiny bits of the family, like the intro, that give a good impression of them as a whole.

The Dagelets: Actors and artists in joyful anarchy

Scene 1: arrival on location When I, a journalist with a flat tyre, arrive way too late by taxi on a gloomy Sunday afternoon in Zuidermeer, I’m met with an extraordinarily joyful anarchy. Weird music is being played on the speakers. Hans Dagelet is sitting on a swing playing the trumpet. Mingus Dagelet is walking on his hands, a bare chest, his legs dangling in the air. Charlie Chan Dagelet is dancing, her son Eneas is running after a ball and the mother of the house is screaming about wanting to wear a dress for once. Esther, with coral red lipstick and sparkling eyes: “I’m dressed so manly all the time.” Mingus Dagelet: “You ARE manly, Esther.” Other than that: There’s clothing and empty cups, voices everywhere and everyone is talking, walking and singing over each other. Welcome to the Dagelet family. Welcome to this circus, this madness, this troupe d’amour of artists, musicians and actors, even when they’re not being filmed.

[Hans and Esther’s] offspring: daughter Charlie Chan (32), actress and cellist, mother of son Eneas (5) and daughter Azul (7 months, not present). Son Mingus (27), strong and compact, dimple in his chin, dark eyes that don’t look away. Finally son Monk (22), who is called De Filosoof (The Philosopher) and who indeed is a bit more quiet than the rest, but just as handsome. Another similarity: they all earn a living with art. And not just any kind of art, no the real deal; Toneelgroep Amsterdam, conservatory, Louis d’Or.

In the few hours that I’ve been in their company I get to know them as the wonderful family that they are: expressive, Amsterdam-ish, extroverted without shame, but also genuine and without pretension, disarming even. Remarkable: No one says mom or dad.

In the chaos, little Eneas stubs his toe. He cries, everyone stops. Esther grabs him and kisses him, pats him, and comforts him. Monk wants to smoke, even though he actually doesn’t really smoke and therefore doesn’t have cigarettes. “So annoying, because hardly anyone smokes anymore, snatching one from someone doesn’t work anymore either.

[The family talks about what their biggest asset as a family is] Monk: We’re not extremely dependent on each other. We all have our own things to fall back on.

Bodhy: I feel like we can all talk/communicate well. At least I feel like I can share everything. Monk: That’s because of safety.

[Question about if their expressive sides causes other family members to be in the shadow sometimes] Monk: No, because when others in the family retreat, they create space for themselves and as a consequence they develop themselves by observing, which in my opinion isn’t to be in someone’s shadow. That’s actually how you develop, by watching and listening.

Do someone know if skamnl cut out a few clips or something? Because Zoë posted Monk on her instagram story and they were on what it looks to be like a hill or something, that's why i'm asking of it was for a clip or just them hanging out. (Maybe it's just them hanging out)

So it's missing Noliv hours and did anyone noticed that when Liv slept at Noah's house for the first time, she said that the right side of the bed is hers and the left side of the bed is Noah's and Noah said that it's his bed and both side is his?

Wel i love how it became an unspoken rule that the left side is Noah's and the right side is Liv's.

i really love that skam nl changed the location of liv and noah’s first time. instead of having it be in the house and room noora was assaulted in, liv took noah back to her home where she feels safe. just a nice touch that i really appreciate.
