.......Redemption.......

"The Outpost" was by far one of my favourite episodes of The Bad Batch to date. I loved the symbolism and cinematography. The animators captured Crosshairs emotions excellently, and the scenery was incredible.

As the episode progressed I could see how Crosshairs views of the empire were at tipping point and he was once again exposed to the Empire's negligence towards the clones.

When Crosshair and Mayday get caught in the avalanche he immediately trudges through the snow to rescue him and doesn't cast a thought to anything else. If this was his past self he would have continued on with his assignment regardless If Mayday had perished or not.

He has changed, and for the better this time. His imperial armour Especially his helmet was a symbol of all the damage and destruction he carried out at the Empire's hand following orders that were atrocious. He left this all behind. He's done with the Empire and it's disregard for life.

This is his turning point as a character, he is starting again on a clean slate. As the sun rises on a new day.

A new beginning.

Super hyped for the season finale, I just hope that Crosshair gets rescued by the Bad Batch and he gets a big hug.

How touching.

Can I just say on behalf of all of us how beloved the meme force 99 blogs are? Seeing the posts pop up on my dash always makes me smile, thank you for brightening up everyone’s day - I just really appreciate the fact that you guys are (tech)nically “big” blogs but you don’t just use it for clout or gatekeep stuff or whatever, you’re just genuinely so much fun to interact with and it’s awesome

OKAY ONTO QUESTIONS was there an origin story behind making the blogs? Or was it just kind of a spontaneous thing?

Thank you!! 💫 Before I started this, my favorite blogs were chaotic characters' incorrect quotes such as @incorrectdisasterlineage and "what if they had social media accounts" as done by @welcome-to-the-holonet.

One day on my commute to work I started thinking of incorrect Crosshair quotes and then typed them up on my phone notes app in the parking lot. Suddenly I had 20+ ideas, such as:

I figured I'd post one every day and that the blog would live for about a month, tops. I didn't know that rp was a thing. I'd joined Tumblr as a regular user only a month earlier.

But then I told a couple people, and they reblogged, and suddenly the inbox started filling up and people started wanting to "talk to Crosshair" and I found that my answers flowed easily.

But the weird thing was, I kept getting messages saying "Do you roleplay?" and I'd ignore them like um, okay internet stranger, what I do or do not engage in with a trusted partner in an intimate setting is none of your busine- oh.

So anyway that's how I found out that I am an online roleplayer.

It's been 8 standard rotations since I've been able to fire a blaster. I can't be blamed for using my enhanced genetics to perfectly aim Mantell Mix kernels into the neck of Wrecker's armor.

Inflation has really gotten out of hand. Apparently hugs are now worth more than 2000 credits.
