Recharging our Faith Batteries
June 27, 2025
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Psalm 51:10
The phone in our hand does not run on infinite power. No matter how usefuel it may be, it must be recharged often to continue its purpose.
Our faith is like the phone. No matter how strong and useful your belief in God may be, it doesn't function without a charged up and working faith life.
Let us take a few minutes to recharge our spiritual battery. Kick our feet up and be recharge with the word of God.

Energy for Today
June 26, 2025
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12–13
God is the decisive worker here. Work out your own salvation . . . for it is God who works in us, the willing and the working. God wills and He works for His good pleasure. But believing this does not make Christians passive. It makes them hopeful and energetic and courageous.
Each day there is a work to be done in our special ministry. Paul commands us to work at doing it. But he tells us how to do it in the power that God supplies: believe him! Believe the promise that in this day God will be at work in us to will and work for His good pleasure.
It is God Himself, graciously at work each moment, that brings the promise of future grace into our present experience. It is not the gratitude for past grace that Paul focuses on when explaining how we work out our salvation.
Many Christians, when asked what the motive is for obedience, will say gratitude. But that is not what Paul emphasizes when he talks about motive and power for our working. He focuses on faith in what God is yet to do, not just what He has done.
Work out our salvation. Why? How? For there is fresh grace for every moment from God. He is at work in our willing and doing every time we will and do. Believe that for the challenges of the next hour and the next thousand years.

Doing our Part
June 25, 2025
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
Psalm 133:1
It might be foolish to expect "everyone" to live together in unity if they are serving their own little gods. However, each of us who call Jesus, our Lord, we are expected to live in unity under one banner of Christ.
For those living under the banner of Christ, we have a command to love God and love one another. There is no exception to this teaching of Christ.
Let us make the effort to unite our Christian family - whomever they may be and wherever they may live.
Imagine the massive impact we can make if God's people would sync up and pull in the same direction!
Let beliefs be not a cause of division. Let it be a cause of unity. Share Jesus. Do our part for unity in Christ.

The Strength to Overcome
June 24, 2025
I can do all things through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13
A familliar and eell know verse.
Imagine the strength it would take to pull a cargo ship into the dock with just a rope and our grip. Seem impossible? Perhaps.
Strength doesn't always comes by might and power. The right lever can lift thousands of pounds with only the pressure of one little finger.
So when we need to wrestle that overwhelming obstacle in front of us, don't immediately pick up the rope and go with brute strength.
Slow down. Pray for God's wisdom to help us determine the right move. We need the strength that comes from God who is the provider of the divine strength. We need to run unto Him for wisdom how to use the strength that He gave.

Faith & Trust
June 23, 2025
No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith giving glory to God.
Romans 4:20
God is not glorified unless our pursuit is empowered by faith in his promises.
And the God who revealed Himself most fully in Jesus Christ, who was crucified for our sins and raised for our justification (Romans 4:25), is most glorified when we embrace His promises with joyful firmness because they are bought by the blood of His Son.
God is honored when we are humbled for our feebleness and failure, and when He is trusted for future grace. That’s the point of Romans 4:20 where Paul describes Abraham’s faith, “No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith giving glory to God.”
He grew strong in his faith, thus giving glory to God. Faith in God’s promises glorifies Him as supremely wise and strong and good and trustworthy. So, unless we learn how to live by faith in the promises of God’s future grace, we may perform remarkable religious rigors, but not for God’s glory.
He is glorified when the power to be holy comes through humble faith in future grace.
Let us learn how to live for God’s honor. And that means living by faith in future grace, which, in turn, means battling unbelief in all ways.

A Successful Future
June 22, 2025
We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
Our future is right now. It consists of loving God and loving others daily. String a few of those days together and we will be able to see God in His fullest glory in and around our life minute by minute.
To build a successful future, focus on God's love and serving others because we care about them.
Making good choices today will shape our life for tomorrow.

Worry Won't Get The Job Done
June 21, 2025
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Matthew 6:26-27
"God gives every bird its food, but He doesn't throw it into the nest." - J.G Holland
Worrying about our life, our job, our money, our hunger, or the bad breaks -- is wasted energy and time.
God designed His creation to sustain us, physically. Jesus Christ sacrficed His life to sustain us spiritually.
Today, live like a man on a mission. Get out of the nest, leave the worries behind and go get our food to sustain our life and our faith.

What are we saying to Ourself?
June 20, 2025
Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.
Proverbs 4:23
How do we talk to ourself? Do we criticize ourself? Is there a particular sin causing us to keep downgrading our faith life?
God is telling us that if we want to change the way we live, we must change the way we think - and how we speak to ourselves comes from those thoughts.
Focus on who God wants us to be and how He wants us to live.
Stop dwelling on the weaknesses or the shame we feel over a mistake we've made. God forgives, so we should forgive ourself and move on.

Clean your Eyes
June 19, 2025
The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
Mathew 6:22
What we let in through our lens will shape our view of God's creation.
Make certain that we spend time getting to know the heart of God. Use the eyes of Christ so we can see others the way He sees them - and see the world as an amazing place built for all of us.
Jesus Christ is the savior of all people - no matter the background, shape, size, color, language, status, nationality, culture, etc.
Keep our eyes clean... let in the good light - filter out the bad light.
It is the window of our soul.

Unlocking the Peace
June 18, 2025
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Matthew 6:14
God doesn't withhold His forgiveness for those who forgive others. But refusing to forgive those who wrong us removes God from the solution.
If you want peace and contentment in our life, we will need to offer forgiveness we may have been denying someone.
Unlock God's blessing of forgiveness and peace and free-up our life.
Today, step up to the plate, be the bigger person, swallow the pride and forgive those who have wronged us. Release, Love.

Living In The Moment
June 17, 2025
Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” ~ Luke 9:62
Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” ~ Luke 9:62 (The Message)
Jesus tells us that living in the past and refusing to move forward makes us unfit and of no use for God's work here and now. Those are strong, sobering words.
A backward looking life is another way to describe a person who is procrastinating and putting off the new beginning he has been hoping to realize.
There is no guarantee that we will see tomorrow. Whatever we are going to do with our soul, do it now.
Get the new start in motion and be an effective man for God's work right here - right now.
We'll never be perfect or 100% ready - just start! Seize the moment right now.

The Heart of a Servant
June 16, 2025
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Matthew 6: 1-4
There is a difference between doing a good deed and serving in the name of God. It's a fine line. We do not serve others in order that we might receive a special blessing. God does not operate a karma wheel.
When we give or serve because we are "told to do it", then we are working to please others or maybe even ourself instead of desiring to please God.
When you get the heart right, the service God exepects of us will follow naturally. This type of service is a fruit of walking in God's spirit.
We should have the right motive. We should have a heart that is willing to serve so that in public or in private, we have the same passion in doing it.

Better Than Anything
June 15, 2025
We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
If we live inside this massive promise, our life is more solid and stable than Mount Everest.
Nothing can blow us over when we are inside the walls of Romans 8:28. Outside Romans 8:28, all is confusion and anxiety and fear and uncertainty. Outside this promise of God’s all-encompassing future grace, there are straw houses of drugs and pornography and dozens of futile diversions.
Once we walk through the door of love into the massive, unshakable structure of Romans 8:28, everything changes. There come into our life stability and depth and freedom. We simply can’t be blown over anymore. The confidence that a sovereign God governs for our good all the pain and all the pleasure that we will ever experience is an incomparable refuge and security and hope and power in our life.
When God’s people really live by the future grace of Romans 8:28 — from measles to the mortuary — they are the freest and strongest and most generous people in the world.
Their light shines and people give glory to their Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

Jesus Knows His Sheep
June 14, 2025
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them.”
John 10:27
John 10:3 is a close parallel to John 10:27. It says, “The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”
So, when Jesus says, “I know them,” this means at least that he knows them by name; that is, he knows them individually and intimately. They are not anonymous, lost in the flock.
John 10:14–15 provides another insight: “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father.”
There is a real similarity between the way Jesus knows his Father in heaven and the way he knows his sheep. Jesus sees himself in the Father, and he sees himself in his disciples.
To some degree Jesus recognizes his own character in his disciples. He sees his own brand mark on the sheep. This endears them to him.
He is like a husband waiting for his wife at the airport, watching as each person disembarks from the plane. When she appears, he knows her, he recognizes her features, he sees in her eyes a happy reflection of his own love. He delights in her. She is the only one he embraces.
The apostle Paul puts it like this: “God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: ‘The Lord knows those who are his’” (2 Timothy 2:19).
It is hard to overemphasize what a tremendous privilege it is to be known personally, intimately, lovingly by the Son of God. It is a precious gift to all his sheep, and it contains within it profound, personal fellowship and affection and the promise of eternal life.

We Are The Mountain
June 13, 2025
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
Psalm 125:1-2
Have we ever wanted to have the kind of faith that moves mountains? To face our obstacles with enough power to make them crumble?
Perhaps our perspective is wrong. God says, We are the moutain if our faith runs deep. Our fear and challenges are not the mountain... We are the mountain!
If we want to move mountains... move ourselves closer to God.
Live like Mount Zion and rise high with strength. Study God's word daily. Pray daily. Worship God with gratitude and humility. Be accountable to fellow believers. Cause we love and we care.
Consider how faith can move mountains... if we are the mountain. 😁

Living the Path
June 12, 2025
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
John 4: 34-35
A pledge to follow Christ means we have signed up to be a disciple. Christ teaches us to follow Him so others can see a clear pathway toward Him.
If we want to win someone like ourselves to God, All we need to do is live our faith for the world to see - every day.
If we do our work of representing Jesus Christ today - God's Spirit will draw others to Him. Then we can share what God has done for our life as a witness to His grace.
Our community should know that we follow Christ for them to be aware of How He is changing us from Glory to glory and for them to see the product of His salvation.

Calling out
June 11, 2025
I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me.
Psalm 120:1
God is faithful to bless us with beautiful things. He is also faithful to help us through the hard, hurtful, and stressful times. He is always a call away for us. He is always there.
We wouldn't be human if we didn't experience hard times. Take heart! The Christian life gives us a stress reliever - it's our open communication with God through His Spirit and His promises to hear our prayers.
If we are walking through a season of fear, worry, or darkness, call out to God. He is faithful to hear us. Often He confirms our prayers through various ways. Call out to Him.
