All I can think about is how seeing hate makes my stomach drop and I can't focus on anything for a solid day afterwards. And knowing that Misha has been struggling with the same thing, to the point he lost sleep and spent his Thanksgiving thinking and worrying about us. We do not deserve this man. Casually thinking about Misha Collins signing on for 3 episodes of a dumb CW show to get them out of a plot contrivance caused by the writers strike and then building that into 12 years of one of the greatest queer characters of our lifetimes and touching so many peoples lives.

The finale made no sense within the context of the show it was hollow and lacked any aspect of family. Plus, they DID silence dean, even if he were the straightest man alive he deserved to chance to say something, ANYTHING back to his best friend dying for him and confessing

point blank, dean's character arc could only have come full circle if he had been able to say what he needed to say without interruption or fear of death. it's been building for several seasons. i question sometimes if people are even watching the same show dbdhdjkf

why we stan jensen and misha:

jensen: only comes back to post comment on handprint. (he only accepts ep 18 and I love it)

misha: recognizes how awful the video was but wrestled with deleting it due to the fans essays, owning up to how ignorant it was, etc. his continuous acknowledgment and willingness to listen to any upset fan.

even if dean didn't say me too, he's still bi and in love with cas, the colette parallel still exists, the mixtape still exists, the whole crypt scene still exists, purgatory dean's "where's the angel?" for a whole year still exists, lily sunder has some regrets still exists, & to top it all off, the the trilogy, the rupture the trap and despair (the truth originally) still exists, all of them in canon, so they can deny "me too" all they want, but what about these? when will these be addressed?

i wouldn’t know what else the writers could’ve been alluding to in this scene other than dean’s bisexuality. dean doesn’t open up, to strangers no less, and in this scene we get a hint of vulnerability and the longing he feels for romantic love. they never gave him the chance to expound and talk more about his feelings - essentially erasing his queerness - and letting him live a life that was already predetermined for him since season one. 

he had so much potential.

in 14x09 when dean prays to cas, we see that the writers lightly touch on his anger issues which were then never brought up again, yet it’s an integral part of what makes dean who he is. 

the c*w has lgbtq+ representation, there’s no doubt. with shows like Riverdale and Legends of Tomorrow displaying queer leads, but it was mainly the conventionally attractive and young women which appealed to a straight, male audience. it’s rare to see bisexual men representation on tv, and even then, characters such as tyler posey’s adam alvaro, a confirmed bisexual, in jane the virgin was written off the narrative after 5 episodes. 

my point is, supernatural giving us bi dean confirmation, not necessarily destiel, would’ve been so impactful because it affirms many things to its viewers:

it’s okay to find love in your late 40s and you don’t need to have it all figured out in your youth

people who have been abused and shown to be s*ic*dal can still find happiness and it doesn’t have to end in d*ath 

lgbtq+ people deserve healthy representation that doesn’t always make the issue of their coming out the forefront/issue of their arc

and so many more

i hope the cast and crew know about how special it could’ve been for us, as many of us are lgbtq+, to see this kind of representation of tv. this is not us being ungrateful for 15 years of supernatural and the comfort we all found, but that we also deserve to live a white picket fence life like sam did.

As a Spanish speaker I’ve got to say this. People saying that the Spanish translators and dub actors went rogue is actually racist. And people saying that what Spanish speakers get from their episodes isn’t canon just because they genuinely believe Spanish speakers would invent a major line like that for such a huge moment is definitely racist. If Deans dub actor and translator have him reciprocating to Cas then it’s canon. It’s not “Spanish canon” it’s canon. It’s what the translator received from the CW and it’s what the actor was given. Our official translators and actors don’t make second rate shitty interpretations of English speaking content and it’s not the translators fault the CW didn’t think to update them with changes to the script. I love Misha and don’t think this was his intent at ALL by the way. I think he’s repeating what the CA told him and he may have never even seen the script with the reciprocation. But everyone needs to stop insisting that what Spanish speakers get from their official SPN episodes is some second class citizen version of the English original. A version of the script had Dean reciprocating and its not at all shocking that they removed the line, or that they were sloppy about sending updated scripts to translators. To think that we’re all unprofessional and seeing people mock “shitty” ESL dubs is so messed up and is perpetuating the idea of everything not-English as being low rent.

This man is stating he hasn't been able to sleep right. This guy has always had our backs. This guy is an advocate for doing good and helping others. This guy has been there every time we've needed him.

Misha Collins is a good man and is the one taking the heat and the blame for things out of his reach. He's the one listening and replying. And watching him saying he feels sick for the mistake he made, is breaking my heart.

I love this man so much, because he has shown his love to this family over and over again.

He deserves better.

Let's make #thankyoumisha trending, not to undermine everything we've been fighting for. But to make him understand we see what he's doing, that he is loved and to low a little bit the anxiety he must be feeling right now. He deserves to have a nice Thanksgiving with his family (and helping others) and even with all of that in his plate he is reading and responding the messages.

Please if you love this guy. Show him your love. He needs it in this moment.
