Last night when I was perusing tumblr I was a little surprised when I came across some emeto audios (I'm new here, lol). As it turns out, I had this saved recording of myself throwing up from a few months ago when I had a bout of the flu. I recorded it just for me to go back and listen to, never with the intention of anyone else hearing it. I thought I was totally weird for recording it.

Coming across those audios last night made me feel less alone. Clearly other people have recorded themselves getting ill too. I'm glad we can be weird together 😅 and I've decided to post mine (it took me a hot minute to figure out how)!

For context, I live by myself and pretty far from family, so I was on my own. I had been running a decently high fever the past two days and fighting some chest congestion. The stomach stuff started the morning of this recording: just really bad nausea and cramping. At the time of this audio, I was freezing and too weak to move to the toilet so what you hear is me leaning over the edge of my bed to throw up into a rubbish bin.

The first part of this audio is me trying to swallow down the nausea while excess saliva dripped into the bin (it's the worst feeling - when you can't stop salivating and you just know you're done for). The nausea ultimately crests around the 1:30 mark. Unfortunately, I'm coughing a lot when I start throwing up, so apologies if that masks the sound of the puke a little bit. I'm also breathing really heavy throughout the whole thing which is probably a little annoying. Some of the audios I listened to last night had such quiet and dainty pukers - I can't relate! 😂

Do you enjoy the gag reflex of yourself, or others more? I’m curious to know, but for me personally I tend to like others reflexes hehe lol

if you’d believe it, i wish i had a weaker gag reflex haha. although i guess being able to puke super quick from gagging isn’t the best thing- could lead to accidental puking from just like brushing your teeth or coughing after smoking lolol so maybe im okay with mine. im also thankful it doesn’t take me SUPER long to get myself to puke.

Hey y'all, I'm back again with a new pretty special vomit audio. It was my friend's 21st birthday last weekend so of course I had to go hard, but maybe I went a little too hard ;)

This is definitely my best audio tbh. Talking, heavy breathing, a bit of moaning/grunting, and of course loud vomiting and gagging. The audio contains mostly natural vomit, but I do gag myself just a little bit before more waves come up on their own. My gag reflex is so sensitive that it barely takes anything to make me puke, so simply sliding just one of my fingers back down my throat is all I need.
