Leaning against a wall, he pulled the cloth off of his ear before holding it close to his chest. At least he had a reminder of his sister, as well as those he’s met, and the promise he made to Raikou.

The mouse’s scent was strange to him. It was clear that the Electric-type wasn’t from around here. Regardless, the puppy made his way towards the tiny rodent.

“Hello!” he barked a greeting to the Pichu, tail wagging as he approached him.

He gave a nod and smiled slightly. “Yea. Still, thank you Rai, Slate.” He looked up at the sky. “Gonna take a bit of getting used to the faster days here.” He internally debated on whether or not he should tell them about the ability he was gifted by Raikou.

Ventus nodded and smiled. "Thanks. I'll give it my all while I'm here. Who knows, I might just come back to visit after my job back in my own region is done." He tightened the bit of blue fabric around his ear before smiling at the Pikachu.

"There's not really anywhere in this region I know of where I can go, to be honest."

Ventus smiled and held out his paw. “Well it’s nice to meet you Rai,” he said. “I was wondering if I could temporally join your team until I’m able to find a way back to my home?” This was his best chance for being able to stop Argo, get back, and save his own world.

The Pichu smiled and nodded. “Alright,” he said, keeping up pretty well with the Rock-Type, maybe even a little faster. Ven did have quite a bit of energy, after all, despite the restless sleep he got from being trapped in a dream world the night before and having to solve cursed boulder puzzles.

Ventus jumped a bit at the sudden yelp, looking over at the Rockruff. Though he thought about it for a moment... He really had nowhere else to go, and he wasn’t sure other Pokemon would be as nice as Slate was... So he quickly gathered his courage and asked.

“Maybe I can come with you,” he said, ready to take off running, expecting Slate to run to the Guild, wherever that was. That’s what Ven normally did when he was late for something.

He then looked up at the sky, and paused. “... Huh, looks like the day goes by a bit faster here than my in home region."

It’s the only thing I can think of as to why I’m suddenly in a completely different region of the world.“ He let out a sigh, closing his eyes as he thought about his predicament. “Something probably didn’t want me heading North...” Maybe it was the evil that Raikou had mentioned...?

“Wait a second, that mist!” It must’ve been a teleportation or portal or something. That was really the only explanation he could think of.

The Pichu took the map and, almost immediately, his face fell... This... hardly made any sense to him. Things just looked out of place. Areas that he had passed through were blocked off. Not to mention the geography itself was entirely different

“This doesn’t make any sense...” He pulled a piece of bark from his bag, having scribbled the places he’s been as well as the layout on the inside of it before showing it to the Rockruff.

“Do you have a map of the region or something? Maybe I can try to figure out where Argo might be by now.” He knew the general landscape of his own world from his home to where he and his friends had campted, though he was still unaware he wasn’t in his own world anymore.

“Doesn’t really help I was separated from the only other Pokemon in my team, specifically, a Raichu with a white coat and a Beautifly.”
