A spotlight on Black Nut as Kim Daewoong - a human being

All the reporters and those commenting “hate comments” are only focusing on Black Nut’s obscene and cruel lyrics that are taken to the extreme. On the other hand, there is no single reporter or person that is focusing on the dignified aspect of Black Nut as Kim Daewoong - as a human being.

Black Nut started helping serving at the bar his parents owned when he was in middle school. His personality became dark and shy because he saw all the harsh things that a middle school student shouldn’t have seen. No one is looking at the fact that he quit college/university and is truly and only focusing on rap to pay back the debts of his mom, which amounts to around 7 hundred million.

Additionally, like other guys, he wanted to be loved by other women and wanted to date as well, but his ugly appearance and scrawny body gave him a sense of inferiority and he couldn’t do anything about it.

Some of his lyrics show that he wanted to pour all his passion into rap, but the huge debt that his house had kept him from it because that would be being selfish. There are also lyrics about him wanting to become famous as a rapper to find his friends who had left him and even giving up on music at one point to study for an examination to become a social worker.

His feeling of inferiority felt at all these situations were put together into his self-deprecating lyrics that said, “Let’s just all make fun of my life” and no one is paying attention to the honesty of him confessing his situations.

When Black Nut was doing music by himself for about 5 years, he got a call from Swings and got in JM. It was something that was like a dream to him.

Swings told Black Nut to move from Jeonju to Seoul and to work with him while living with him. Black Nut said, “I have to help my parents with their store, so I can’t leave the house. Also, it is a nuisance to someone to live in their house” and rejected him politely.

To sum it up, if you think about it, Black Nut is someone’s precious child and is a normal human being like us. The reporters and Netizens do not try to understand the other side of Black Nut and are attacking him.

It’s obvious that his ‘Graduation Album’ and ‘Friend’s Mom’ lyrics will disgust anyone. I don’t listen to them, either. The point is that the people hating on Black Nut are only focusing on his obscene lyrics. The fact that people think that Black Nut has no characteristics of a normal human being, not even 1%, and that he is a pure 100% mentally ill psychopath is the biggest problem.

I think that there will be someone among the reporters that actually know this. I hope that one of them stands up for Black Nut and let people know that Black Nut is not a psychopath that he seems to be with his dirty lyrics and show the side of him shown in his songs ‘5 o'clock,’ ‘Afraid,’ 'Tonight,’ 'Something I can do,’ and ’Before I go out.’
