It's mostly general info about the games, not going too into detail about much else, so if you're into that. Which I know I am.

I was specifically referring to this little factoid in the Sonic R section

Here's also a bunch of her cars (plus what I can find of Shadow's in the book, cause they didn't list the vehicles in Shadow 05 and Sonic 06 but he drove in those games too)

(they can't lie to me Amy's cars is not the same)

I'm not really a Shadamy shipper, but I'm surprised one of the things I haven't seen anyone latched on to is that both Shadow and Amy are pretty into cars. Sure, Shadow is more into bikes, but he drives plenty too. And the encyclo-speed-ia does joke about how big Amy's garage is (but also they kinda implied that the pink cabriolet from all stars racing and tsr are the same, which, no the fuck they aren't)

tbh, I just think that since they leaned into amy being into tarot a lot, they should also lean into amy's interest in cars too

In the tags I did mention that official materials canons had her have interest in girls but most of them aren't canon, the most possible to be canon one being the Isekai Ogiri stories

But also wdym she dated girls in Sonic Boom, genuine question

Also the marriage is only from STC Online, a fanmade continuation, but the specific story mentioning that was written by Nigel Kitching, an official writer from STC

Knuckles's crescent on his chest is a necklace instead of a marking

In this shot he was drawn similarly to STC Sonic, with the arrow shaped head

Most obvious is Tekno, but you can see Ebony, Shortfuse and Johnny's names too. Partially covered is ushi, which is presumable supposed to be Joe Sushi, Rocky's name in STC

One thing to note is that Mashed is based in the UK, so some of the artists probably grew up reading them

Joseph's enemy is Kars, also the Ultimate Life Form...

Black Doom's first VA, Sean Schemmel, also voiced Goku, has an enemy in Cell, who I think is also an Ultimate Life Form of sorts

Speaking of, people who enjoyed Maria's writing in Dark Beginnings, why? Genuine question, not trying to be rude. I want a respectful discussion.

Personally, I could not enjoy the shorts at all because her writing revolts me. She doesn't feel like an actual character to me, she just felt like an object to comfort Shadow when he feels bad, and doesn't have a personality beyond "nice girl"

Granted, the second part is pretty much how she is in most of her appearances, but those were written in the 2000s, we are in the year 2024, why couldn't we have expand her beyond that
