Friday chat
Bil: (Sigh...)
Kel: What's up Bil?
Bil: I'm doing fine, just my eyes a bit tired because I read a lot of GRE words these days...
Kel: Come on... Enjoy life a little bit, we will come to life only once. Eat, drink, sleep and then fly over the beautiful landscapes... Ah.. such beauty...
Bil: Actually, that's exactly why I'm struggling to go to my dream university. I want to make it real part of my life!
Kel: !?

The Association Technique
sureGRE introduces the "technique of associations" to memorize the advanced English words:
1. The "technique of text associations"
2. The "technique of visual associations"
To improve your English Vocabulary, you should first obtain a complete and detailed advanced word list, their dictionary meanings, some etymology information on those words, some pictures to support your visual learning, some tips to learn and remember them in less than a few seconds and a book to provide all these if available anyways...
Luckily, we have studied them as much as we can and sureGRE provides you with an incredibly useful & social study tool.
Let's take the following tip for example, it is for the word "grate" and its meaning can be seen instantly by tapping on the screen in sureGRE all words and sure words views.
The word "grate" means "to reduce something to smaller shreds by rubbing".
As soon as our minds work on this, they create various neuron connections and this information starts becoming part of our memories... However, this "memorizing" process is a passive one. Our brains learn the definition but how about us?
Are we counted as learning when our brains are unconsciously learning?
The solution we bring to this issue is active learning. If you can make an "association" with "anything" that makes the name and the definition of the word, you will learn it in seconds and remember it clearly later. The more we use it, the more the association memory technique is developed.
Let's take the recent word "grate" for example. We bet you've already forgot the meaning. Actually, the keyword to remember is "rub".
So, why don't we write a tip for this word and learn it super fast? It is extremely simple to edit a word tip or to shoot a new picture for a word.
Check out the following tip for the word provided by sureGRE. First of all, it has the color set and frame setup according to the users taste. The color set can be instantly changed for a better visual experience by "S H A K I N G" his or her iPhone!
Let's check sureGRE's tip for "grate". The user chose to make an association to the pronunciation of this word to learn it. She wrote: "the sound of 'RUB' is not ~ great ~"
Of course, this annoying sound imagination is immediately associated with the word grate in our minds and before you realize you will have learned this word.
