Hey um, I hope I can ask this as a fellow OC artist (if you don't mind) but I was wondering how you deal with people trying to steal or copy your OCs? Especially now that you can use ai to fix up the designs and such. Sorry if it comes out of the blue, I love your work a lot!

First of all if this is happening to you, I'm so sorry anon. I hope things improve for you in the best ways possible. To answer your question, the short version is we cannot completely prevent it. But in the years of doing OC stuff (both during my fandom as well as my original content days), I've learned there ain't never gonna be nobody that does your OCs as YOU do. Authenticity will ALWAYS set you apart and have folks know "oh hey, its such-and-such's work!".

To give you a actual example- a stalker I deal(t) with ghosted my ass, but kept on coming for my pages on burner accounts. Said ho is actually watching me still and even snagged my OC designs for herself (lol she thinks I don't know, hey bitch I see you ♥). Can I stop it? Nope. Can she do what I do?

She sure as fuck cannot and never is going to be able to. :)

I feel your concern especially now that AI has everybody and their mother thinking they can make "art" while they couldn't doodle on a piece of toilet paper. But please know YOU are YOU. This isn't about your skill-level- anybody could draw better than me and still not capture my shit the way I do best.

So if nothing else always remember nobody will do it as YOU do. I know, omg I know so badly it can suck balls especially with mfs stealing stuff and with AI being as cancerous as it is but baby--

Your authenticity is IT. It wins the long game. I hope this helped if only a little and a smooch for you.
