Happy Friday the 13th! I am doing a mini cleanse and am making it a point to a have really high frequency morning. Today so far: 32oz Hot lemon ginger honey water 16oz freshly pressed celery juice 16oz of a mixed juice with oranges, carrots, turmeric, ginger, dandelion greens, radishes and apple!! Delicious and highly medicinal Tumeric is really helpful to consume after a workout or heavy labor. Tumeric can shorten recovery time for muscles, ligaments, and joints after exercise and it also acts as an antiinflammatory for any minor injuries you might not have noticed that have the potential to turn into trouble otherwise. After surfing almost everyday, I am bound to feel sore in my shoulders, neck, hips, back and hamstrings (especially in the winter With the added weight of 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm of wetsuit) on my body tends to make me feel way more sore than I would in the summer with the same amount of surfing! For me, winter is s great time to add tumeric into my daily routine. I tend to avoid supplements or extras in the summer because there is so much going on.
