hi, i hope you’re having a good day!! i’ve got a question but lemme provide context: i was playing the sims w my brother yesterday and while i was teaching him the controls for build mode i realized how it was kinda quiet. i never bother to turn the volume on when i play bc eventually it gives me a headache - literally have 0 clue what any of my sims sound like lol. was curious if other simmers play w sound off the whole time or if im weird playing ts4 in complete silence.. 🫣

That’s a good question, and no you aren’t weird actually, I know a lotta ppl who never play with sound on. 😆

Personally for me it depends on which mode I’m in. I think I only ever play with sound on when I’m in Live Mode, and actually playing my sims. When I’m in Buy/Build Mode, or CAS Mode, I usually mute it in my sound mixer, and turn on music instead for motivation.

Everyone’s different though when it comes to this stuff, so why don’t we do a poll for fun? Especially since now you've got me wondering if I'm weird. 😂

Feel free to explain your choice in the tags especially for 3&4, if you only play with sound on in Live Mode for example, and if you like having sound on in The Sims 2, but not in other iterations, bc who doesn’t love the music in The Sims 2? ✌️

So as I was playing sims 2 earlier, I switched over to the Beakers for a bit. Loki got bored, so he prank calls Pascal, and Pas immediately appears on the lot after Loki hangs up. He knew it was this bitch. Pascal then pushes Loki , they end up fighting after hitting each other for an hour. Loki one, and then goes on Nerv's old computer he stole when he snuck out. Pas follows him down there and beats his ass. He then leaves, Papa manlet was not going away till he shredded his ass up. I took a screenshot of them fighting down there

I made a rough sketch of Pascal when he was waiting at the front of the house

I like to think he called in the middle of the cautious family having dinner, everyone at the table seeing Pas get pissed off from the call, says he'll be right back and leaves the house
