idk if this is a controversial opinion or not but i THOROUGHLY enjoyed the lego ninjago movie like idc if that shit isnt canon it was a roller coaster i will willingly ride.

like cmon, jackie chan as master wu? llyods daddy issues?? the fucking humour in this had me in a chokehold i need whatever the writers were on

of course i have my own gripes but as a standalone movie i think it deserves many kudos. i rewatch it every now and then for a good chuckle

like..okay, genuine statement, can people all just use “ninjago spoilers” instead of using twenty different variation of dr spoiler tags. it’s making it impossible to hide from spoilers when instead of tagging it like this people are either not tagging it at all or only tagging it as “dragons rising s2 spoilers” meaning i have to see it. i really don’t want to get myself spoiled more than i already have trying to figure out what the hell people have been using

I'll never shut up about how some of y'all unironically be treating Misako. Y'all treat her like she dumped Lloyd in the forest when he was just born and the Darkley's teachers found him there or something. She enrolled him in a fucking boarding school, it's not exactly abandonment, when you enroll your son in a school and he has to live there for some time.

ALSO Lloyd forgave her!!! He is okay with her !!! Because she literally just. Enrolled him in a shitty school when he was younger. And yes he was bullied a lot in that school, but Lloyd made peace with that shit ages ago.

Y'know who Lloyd HASN'T forgiven yet? Garmadon. While their relationship is seen to be better as of the end of Crystalized, it's clearly still Not The Best, and Lloyd spent the whole season not wanting to achieve his oni form because it reminded him of Garmadon!!!

He was so scared of being like Garmadon that even as he was WINNING, when he SAW what he was, he was fucking terrified!!!! He actively avoids ever being like Garmadon, because his father scares him.
