Major and Minor keys... let alone words
Things may have appeared to have been a little quiet in the world of Surviving Savannah; but we've been busy writing new tunes and trying to get our heads around our new set up. New instruments have been picked up, new sounds have been devised and experimented with, and we seem to be finding our footing... slowly.
We'll be off to the studio once we've honed our tunes. Prepare for something slightly different!

Last week we popped into the studio to work on a few new ideas... and to mess around on a very nice piano!

Last night's show was officially one of the sweatiest gigs we've ever played. Thanks to everyone that came down and joined in with the musical sauna.
Remember to check out our good friends in Coyote Mad Seeds debut album. It's available now on itunes.
For now we're off to bask in this weird glowing orb thing that's appeared in the sky and to polish our new tracks ready for the studio.

Times are a changing... and all that jazz!
Helloooooooooo Folks!
Fear not; we haven't vanished off the face of the Earth! We've been busy dragging Surviving Savannah kicking and screaming into 2013 and beyond.
You may have already heard the very sad news that we have parted ways with Dan. Due to insane commuting distances, he had to call it a day. We all wish him all the best for the future.
After a mammoth session of auditions, we've finally been rescued by a dear friend. Matt Wood, formally a member of OFS with Kelly has joined as bass player. Bass player we hear you ask! The unbelievably talented Mr. Matt Blore is not only an exceptional bass player, but he's rather apt behind the drum kit too.
Over the last few weeks we've been holed away perfecting our sound and getting ready for a smattering of shows over the Summer. The first being at The Corporation, Sheffield on 12th July. Tickets are now available from our website and The Corporation website. The other dates will be announced shortly.
To make way for a new range of merchandise we've reduced the price of our T-shirts down to £5. Please note there's only a limited number of tees available. When they've gone, they've gone!

Last by no means least, as we'll be heading into the studio this Autumn. As a little 'Yay, we're finally going to record some new tracks', we've made our entire 'Starting Line' EP free to download for a limited time.

So for now it's back to the rehearsal studio!

It seems the gods of the gigs are against us this month. We're really upset to announce that due to a double booking and headliner issues, our Wolverhampton and Chesterfield show have been postponed.
However, our London show at the Nambucca with The Cream Tangerines and Disgothique will be going ahead.
Tickets are available via We Got Tickets or contact us to be added to the paid guest list.

We are pleased to announce will be playing at the Corporation in Sheffield at the Volume Zero EP launch on November 30th, with our good friends Coyote Mad Seeds.
