Caroline had just turned. She didn’t exactly know what was going on with her, but she was already aware of the vampire situation in Mystic Falls- especially that involving Niklaus. Without a daylight ring, she was locked away in her home. Unfortunately, he had already been invited in, “Get out,” She spoke quietly, not looking in his direction.

Dominic

“Really that’s what you want me to do? So I am just another boy to you. Fine I’ll go. But I didn’t want to have to say this, but I love and I don’t know why. I haven’t seen you in years, and I haven’t stopped thinking about you. And right now,   you’ re breaking my fucking heart.” Dominic squeaked as tears rolled down his cheeks. He turned away and began to run.

“No, that’s not_” She was cut off by him leaving. Quickly, Blake chased after him, once she got to him she tackled the boy to the ground, getting on top and pinning his arms down so he couldn’t move, “Dominic,” The girl barked, “I can’t have you leaving with hating me... You don’t get it. I can’t lose you. Not to them. I’d rather you walk away from this, from me, and stay alive than die because of what we mean to each other.”

Dominic

Dominic bit his lip and listened to what she said. This was the Blake he knew and loved. “Yes what can I do?” He asked nervously, hoping it wasn’t a bad thing. And he didn’t have to leave her. He had just found her again. He couldn’t leave again and forgive himself for it. He fiddled with his sleeve softly.

“I need you,” The girl sighed gripping his elbows and squeezing lightly. She wasn’t sure how she was going to do this and she couldn’t even look at him while she spoke, “I need you to get outta here. Stay as far away as you can... Stay away from me. Get home. Forget about all of what happened... I want you to forget about me,” A single, silent tear rolled down her cheek.

“I’m glad you’re not,” She stated allowing him to kiss her, “I was going to be,” She gulped, “They would’ve killed me... But there’s more of them... They’ll find out I didn’t die and they’ll be looking for me,” She smiled up to him for a moment. To see him alive and well... Well, she could die happy with that image, “Dom, I need you to do me a favor. Before I ask it, you need to promise me that you’ll oblige. Promise me that whatever I tell you to do, you’ll do it.”

“You thought I was dead? I thought you were dead.” Dominic felt tears welling up in his eyes. He missed her so much. He took a deep breath and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I won’t let anything happen to you again.”

Dominic bit his lip as she hugged him. “I was so worried about you!” He squeaked, his voice merely above a whisper. He was honestly so worried about her and when he saw her bound and gagged as he had been when they had met, he knew he had to help.

“I thought you were dead,” She cried into his shoulder. It was strange for her, she had never shown so much emotion in her life. Maybe that was what happened when she cared about someone as much as she cared for Dominic, “I thought you were dead,” She repeated quietly.

Dominic stared over at her, from the trees. She didn’t look good. Of course she was bound and gagged. He let out a small sigh before shooting a web from his hands at her captors, before wrapping them up in the web. When he was sure he had gotten the captors, he ran over to her, and untied her. “B-Blake. Are you okay?” He asked.

Blake pulled the gag out of her mouth, scurrying back from him for only a moment before rushing towards him. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him into an embrace. The girl had never hugged anyone before, but she couldn’t help it in that moment, “Hi,” She stated with a hand caressing the back of his head. Tears began to well in her eyes, “I was beginning to think I’d never see you again.”

Blake hadn’t seen him in months, since they were separated. She was tied up, gagged, and likely on her way to her death. She glanced over and saw them in the trees and from the lack of food, water, and rest, she felt as though it had to have been a dream. Staying quiet, she stared for only moments at a time so he wouldn’t be caught all while hoping he’d think of her as a lost cause and leave.

“ The wrong girl? Perhaps I did. It would apparently seem that way. ” he shakes his head at her, pondering what to tell her when she starts running her mouth off about complaining. “ I don’t want to complain because then I would seem very much like the spoiled brat you’re exuding. And honestly that wouldn’t do anything good for my reputation. ”

“Through all of this shit,” She sighed whilst grinding her teeth at his comments, “You’re now stuck with me and I’m stuck with you... I guess we gotta get used to that,” The girl had never thought of a sire bond with him. She was too rude towards Klaus think it could have been a thing... But the thought suddenly crossed her mind and she became weary of the entire situation.

Hunter

belle stood near the doorway when he threw the bag her way. he expected her to leave? walk out of town and pretend this place never existed? she would find a way to kill him. it would just take a bit longer than she expected. “even demons can be killed.” she muttered back at him, picking her back up off the floor. “a stake may not kill you, but at least i know vervain and wolfsbane hurts.” with that, she turned to leave.

The hybrid smirked. She was adorable with her feisty attitude. She was determined, that was for sure. It was fun and he was truly hoping she’d stick around longer, “Could you imagine,” He called out after her, “How it would feel if you were to become something you despised with such a passion?” He sped towards her until he was only inches from her face, the back of his fingers tracing her cheek, “’Cause I think the irony would be an injustice not to see.”

she didn’t understand. he should be dead, that should have killed him. when he stood up and began to laugh, the beauty stood frozen. it was only when he slammed her into the wall that she snapped back into everything. she lifted her arms off, pulling his arms off of her and quickly jabbed him in the stomach, releasing two wooden stakes into his stomach. “hybrid.” she muttered, moving backwards. “hybrids don’t exist…”

“Hybrids don’t exist,” He repeated with a harsh scoff whilst pulling out the other stakes, “All of your little tricks won’t work on me, Darlin’,” He allowed his eyes to change their color to prove what he was, “I’m here to protect my people, my pack,” He turned, grabbing her bag and throwing it at her chest. He would kill her, but the poor girl didn’t know any better, “Now you best be on your way before I change my mind... Before I use you to help feed my vamps, wolves, and hybrids.”

“so i’ve gathered.” she retorted. she pulled one last time on the ropes and they loosened completely from her wrists. but the beauty remained with her hands behind her back. “i have done my research. many years of it actually. i don’t underestimate your power but it’s not me who has made the mistake.” she didn’t even allow him to get a response in. with one swift kick to his chest, she moved to her bag in front of her, pulling out a stake and as quickly as she could, she ran it through his heart. “you seem to forget that hunters are just as deadly as you.”

He inquired harshly. Honestly, he was slightly insulted by the lack of fear and respect he was receiving from this girl. When he felt the wooden object enter his heard he let out a loud gasp, stumbled backwards and collapsed to his knees. He played along for only a moment by partaking in those actions before he began to laugh. Standing, Jax pulled the stake out of his chest, throwing it to the side, “You might’ve done your research on vampires and werewolves in general,” His jaw clenched as he made his way towards her, placing both hands on her shoulders and slamming her against the wall, “To your dismay, I’m neither... or both... Take it as you will.”
