Being around new people and it's awesomeee. I think it's a part of being confident if who you are and just not giving a fuck of what other people think. Do you, and you'll be surrounded by people that are like you. Toss that fear of not being "accepted." We are done with high school.

Love

How do you describe love? 

The first thing that pops up in my head is all the gooey, cheesy romantic things you do with your partner whether it be the flutters you feel when you start thinking about him or the fact that they are just ALWAYS on your mind.

But aside all the relationship stuff...There is so many different kinds of love:

the unconditional, supportive love I receive from my parents

the often times love (-hate) relationship I have with my brother

the love that I have for my best friends who's stuck through it all 

the adornment I feel for my dog 

I think TRUE love is really all about giving LOVE and not expecting anything back. I see this in how my parents care for me and Kevin soooooo much. It's loving someone so much that you only want the very best for them. No jealousy, no competition, and no games...just pure LOVE. Genuinely feeling happy for them for THEIR happiness and achievements. 

I don't think I would've realized this if I hadn't met you :)

A note to myself 1 year back:

I wish I could go back in time and tell myself that I will meet someone better and not worry so much where I'll end up. I'm starting to realize, that life moves on....whether your happy about it or not. The worst thing you could do is just be stuck in the past. When you're sad, you feel so stuck. When you're unhappy, you feel like there's no end to it. I've grown so much this past year. I'm getting better at being honest with my feelings and truly doing things that I love to do....and by this I mean, I do things for myself, not for others. It's probably been the most rewarding thing ever. And surprisingly I've realized by going for what you want, people around you really respect that. I'm kinda ranting on, but I'm just really proud of how far I've come to figure myself out :) 4 days till Minni bound!
