I was going to draw something more heated but then the thought of Tobirama having to beat Madara senseless just to pry peanuts out of his mouth and save his husband from asphyxiation invaded.

A lot of adults women behave like incels but less violent and more manipulative. They usually love the cringe romance movies where the main girl is average looking and not like the other girls and manage to make the badboy soft. Generally they hate hot girls bc they are jealous (see the way Skr stans talk abt Ino and feel victorious bc they "won" against her, the hot girl). Those women are full of insecurities, thats why Skr is so relatable.
The way Skr tries to not think about the fact Sske dont wanna spend time with her is the same way some irl women ignore that their husbands are cheating, and if they cant ignore it they will attack the other women but they will NEVER leave the guy. All their self worth is based on having a bf/husband.
Then there are some lesbian/bi women who stan her as an act of feminism. She is a female character who got what she wanted so its a win apparently. Fortunatly those ppl are minority bc as a queer woman and feminist, it is very embarrassing to read those takes. I'm all for uplifting women and for them to get everything they desire but not at the expense of non sexist men. Plus, Skr dont even look so happy at the end of the day. So is it really a win for her and women?
Yeah that makes sense. But it's sad isn't it? Because even trying to have a dialogue with them isn't helpful. There's no point having it if they aren't ready to be receptive to it.
Sakura really sees no contradiction between what she says and what she does.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And yet...
Tumblr media
Lol. Till only two days ago, she was found styling her hair in the middle of chuunin exams, all skinned knees and having suffered minor injuries, while her team mates were working. She let her hair grow in the first place because she thought Sasuke liked it. Lol.
What impression can it possibly give to the reader? Kishi had to stress on it too, with another character this time.
Tumblr media
Why would Kishi stress so much on Sakura and her obsession with her hair, just to make her say something totally hypocritical five chapters down? Lol. Kishi is very clever about writing his characters act according to the character traits given to them. Like for example, the panel below, Kakashi acts according to his character (where he has a blindspot for Sakura's negative shades) thinks Sakura is not the type to brag when she is actually exactly the type to brag.
Tumblr media
Lol, Sakura's whole personality is about being obsessive for Sasuke which in turn makes her violently jealous of Naruto and Ino. She beats Naruto up regularly for no apparent reason and harasses Ino, even though that girl did nothing but try to help her. And she brags, it's the only thing she does properly. Lol.
Tumblr media
And yet, she is always bragging, showing off. From start to end.
Tumblr media
And I am positive I am missing some panels here lol. She is always looking for external validation. She revels in it. While external validation itself is not a bad thing, since humans need some amount of external validation to measure their abilities, and Naruto does it too, but for him, it's rooted in his quest for acknowledgement and acceptance, so he could make friends and not be ostracized from community. Sakura does it because of her ego. While Naruto has his principles rooted in his belief systems, his emotions and his dream that egg him on to do better, Sakura finds her motivation in the desire to show off and impress people, mostly Sasuke.
She disrespects Ino, Tsunade, and she fights Kaguya while she says this?
Tumblr media
Girl, why are you so embarrassing? If you wanna attack her, just do it. Why even mention her being a woman? She wasn't mocking you, she barely even noticed you. You aren't worthy enough for her to notice.
Tumblr media
Lol. And things she says about being a woman are just so cringe lol.
Tumblr media
No one underestimates her because she is a girl, in fact Kakashi coddles her because she is a girl. She is underestimated because despite training, she is just weak and unskilled, as compared to her cohorts. And if she is skillful, we don't see it in the same proportion measured against the way she talks about herself. Tsunade never had to sing about her being a woman and yet people are bloody scared of her strength. Temari never had to mention it, neither did Kushina. Chiyo certainly briefly talks about how women always get the short end of the stick in their male driven society, but she not only belongs to a much older generation that has seen a hell lot, she is a master puppeteer and a superior warrior in her own right, she has earned it.
It would have been fine if only Sakura had actually consistently kept her word, proven herself through actions and not just empty words. Because when she doesn't, it reduces the value of those words. I don't know if she really meant it when she said women were fickle. Who? Tsunade? Kushina? Chiyo? Temari? Nope, they didn't give any such impression.
She constantly condescends to Naruto despite him having proved himself to be skillful, strong, the one who wins team seven several battles while she stands in a corner shaking and sweating. Thing is, she realises she makes mistakes. She acknowledges Naruto's strength as well, but she doesn't do anything to change. The whole point of a realization is to work on it and correct your behaviour. She is condescending towards Naruto till the end. Konohamaru takes her down a peg when she is being disparaging towards him and Naruto when they are doing the oiroke jutsu contest. She even hits Konohamaru, and he gets pissed off. So he makes a reverse oiroke jutsu just to show her true face, and that face has a streak of blood trickling down her nose lol. But when Naruto uses it against Kaguya, she again condescends to him. Narusakus are kinda embarrassing tbh, Sakura doesn't get Naruto. She thinks she does but she doesn't. She thinks she gets Sasuke but she obviously doesn't. And yet, she makes her 'strategies' in kage arc around her knowledge of Naruto and fake confesses to him. Naruto rejects her. Lol. She goes to Sasuke and tries to kill him (with a kunai...) by tricking him, only to be attacked, twice. Even when she drugs her cohorts before going to Sasuke, they clock her real plan. Lol.
She overestimates herself, even though it's clear that if she only thought things through, she would be much more successful. She is really blind to her own shortcomings even though she tries but remains unsuccessful, which is even sadder.
She does know Sasuke doesn't wanna spend time with her, she also gets a sense that she will always be much lesser than Naruto in Sasuke's eyes, she knows but she doesn't care. Even if it means long term misery.
Yes, I am sure some women find her character relatable. But relatable doesn't mean everything. I relate to Sasuke and I am very wary of establishing emotional connections but I know it's not something ideal or healthy. Connection is what people thrive on. If I ever started to relate with Sakura, I would really be compelled to take a hard look at myself. Lol.

Ssss has a grand total of 1 moment throughout the manga and that's Sasuke telling Sakura about his need to avenge his brother and mentioning Itachi crying. And even that's overshadowed by the fact that the conversation is triggered by Sakura being insensitive, Sasuke is turning away while speaking and more. There is no substance in their dynamic
I wouldn't call this an SS moment because the impression that this scene makes is that what you said. Sasuke is trying to get along with her but she ruins it by taking such a casual attitude towards training. It clashes with Sasuke's own sensibilities who isn't there to waste time, he needs to train and become stronger. So he could one day kill Itachi. Sasuke is triggered and majorly annoyed by her.
There is only one scene where they have a wholesome positive moment. When they are supposed to register for the chuunin exams.Which is when Sasuke can sense she is moping, as she has been pretty useless in battles and she is feeling very insecure about her abilities and skills.
Tumblr media
So he encourages her, she gets more secure about her abilities, and Sasuke smiles knowingly because his trick worked.
Tumblr media
He decides to encourage her by telling her, her analytical abilities and genjutsu know how are best in the team by indicating the genjutsu that she 'supposedly' noticed. Now we know he is only trying to make her feel better because her analytical skills are not substantiated/established with anything that comes before this scene in the manga. She was taken down with Kakashi's genjutsu in the bell test. In the land of waves arc, we only saw Sakura standing in a corner, in front of Tazuna, while not even participating actively in the fight. She has no analytical pearls to contribute. Lol, she is literally the person who went to kill Sasuke with a poisoned kunai man. Sasuke who has been training with Oro, the master of poisons and potions and chemicals and what have you. Kakashi also notices her power and abilities were no where even close to Sasuke's.
Tumblr media
She went there to kill Sasuke not having thought things through and managed to get attacked by Sasuke Twice and both times needed to be rescued by Kakashi and then Naruto. Lol. She thought she would fake confess to Naruto and hence trick him, but he straight up rejected her. Lol. She doesn't even know how Sasuke and Naruto work, and they were team mates. What strategy? It's characteristic of self absorbed and narcissistic people to not know much beyond their own interests. And she is a good example of it. Kishi is fucking relentless with her too. She tried to punch Madara, just rushing in, and showing off without any thought and got stabbed. Lol. Kakashi had to stop her when she attempted to do it a second time because she had no 'plan'.
Tumblr media
What strategy exactly? In the second bell test, it was Naruto that found out the solution, not her. She could only fight Sasori because of Chiyo. Even in the forest of death, she makes a trap only to be found out almost immediately by Zaku and Dosu.
Tumblr media
Where exactly do we see this 'battle strategy' or 'analysing' of hers? Lol. All she is good at, is mugging stuff up to look smart. If she really were good at analysis, we would have actually seen it in action. Like we see with Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi, Shikamaru, Itachi, Neji etc. Show don't tell. Kishi does this all the time with her character. Make her be so arrogant, make others characters praise her skills but we don't actually get to see them, we mostly only see her falling on her ass with one strike, get rescued, get rejected or manslaughtered. Kishi is such a sadist, lol.
Even in this scene, it isn't made clear if it was Sakura who noticed it. She is surprised looking at the crowd that has gathered, that is all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sasuke is the one who notices it and he really only encourages Sakura, because he is a decent person like that. Sakura is his team mate and he does care for his team at that point. It would be ooc for Sakura to know something and not take credit for it immediately.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So she gets encouraged, mostly because it's Sasuke who praised her, that's why she wanted to keep being in the team to begin with.
Tumblr media
At the end of the war arc though, Kishi thought, hmm it would be so nice for Sasuke to shut her the hell up by putting her in a genjutsu, something that he once told her she was good at, and that he hardly ever uses on others. Lol.

why did sasuke remember sakura's smile at the hospital? ss shippers claim that he was jealous of sakura, but when he almost killed her with chodori at the rooftop, he didn't care...
They are just desperate little people with their heads filled up with fantasies and hormones. They don't see what precedes a certain panel and what succeeds it. They have never heard of selective reading. Wouldn't know narrative or visual language if it hit them in the eyes. Can't even follow a story written for kids. Or if they do, they certainly don't act like it. Do they even get nursery rhymes? Cause seeing their level of comprehension, I have my doubts lol. They are deliberately stubborn about things that are so freakin obvious, it's embarrassing. Sasuke was feeling very insecure and resentful because he had just had a confrontation with Itachi, his brother that he wanted to kill and had devoted his entire life to that particular goal. Oh but sure, he was only jealous because of Sakura, when Sakura herself admits he doesn't talk to her, doesn't tell her anything, is always quiet around her, hates her no matter what she does, when Sasuke is leaving Konoha. Because she is more important than Itachi to him. Yep, that must be right. Who cares about Sasuke's characterisation or the narrative, they are just going to believe whatever they feel like. Because Kishi is their maternal uncle who bounced them on his knees when they were small and they are totally entitled to twist his story any which way they like. Oof.
Sasuke thinks of this. Panels are in order.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
How can someone confuse this as anything else? It's like they just want to read the manga with closed eyes. Sasuke is obviously feeling resentful because he is in the hospital in the first place because Itachi hurt him, and Sasuke realizes he wasn't even close to him in strength, someone who happens to be his genocidal brother, and someone he needs to kill. While Naruto has just learnt rasengan, his taijutsu and ninjutsu skills have improved, and he was able to summon big ass toads to defeat Gaara, someone who was Sasuke's opponent, someone whom Sasuke was itching to battle from the beginning. Sasuke thinks of Sakura and the rest of it because he is jealous of Naruto and his improved skills, he knows Naruto protected them both. Sakura being Sakura who isn't the brightest and very partial to Sasuke, thinks it was Sasuke who rescued her but Sasuke tells her she was wrong. It was Naruto. After which, he gets triggered at Naruto's entry in the room and challenges Naruto for a fight. Because they are rivals, not just rivals, but they do compete with each other. Sasuke was very sure of his strengths and he thought he was doing okay but then he sees Naruto get so much stronger while he ended up in the hospital nursing his injuries and he obviously feels bad for himself. Yeah sure, Sasuke would think of romance sitting in the hospital, just beaten up and mentally tortured by Itachi. Sasuke is going through an entire range of emotions sitting there, visibly sweating and gritting his teeth but Sakura is just sitting there peeling apples cheerfully, totally oblivious to anything Sasuke is feeling, oh yeah, what a connection they have. Yum yum. So he flings the plate of apples outta Sakura's hand and gives her the death glare because he just loves her so much. Do you know how expensive fruits are in Japan to just go wasting them? Lol. Jk. But seriously man, my neighbour's seven year-old would get this story better than them. Sakura is in her own fangirl's paradise where she is nursing her handsome, popular and doting boyfriend back to health, she says - Now to cut them into bite sized pieces, and Sasuke is like - ......what is this annoying girl going on about? Fuck this shit. Fuck apples. Bring me Naruto.
And there he is, right on time.
Lol.
Ss. Nincompoops they are. I am embarrassed writing about this and they are the ones who believe it. Bah. Let's please retire this ask already. No one has to feel confused as to what this panel means. It's clear as crystal as it is.

I'm rewatching Naruto (again) and when Sakura asked about the torn picture in Inari's house, it stuck me as one of the most insensitive things I've ever heard. I wanted to shake her. Really? You've never seen someone torn out of a picture? Never heard of it? Couldn't even begin to guess what it means or that you may not be entitled to that information? I'm offended on that family's behalf.
I hope she thought back to that moment when her daughter asked about the sneaky stuff she did with the pictures with her Sasuke.
(Sorry to rant at you. I love your posts)
Hey.
I don't think it's offensive. The picture is hanging in their dining room so it's for everyone to see, it's not like Tazuna is hiding it. Sakura is merely curious. And more importantly, it was the author's way to elucidate why Inari is such a cynical little boy. The torn picture implies a mix of emotions of Inari being aggrieved, anguished and angry at his circumstances, having lost a loved one so cruelly.

Do you have any feelings on Ino. I think I remember you saying you don't like her but I don't know which post. Besides always picking fun at Choji (I truly don't know why she does this) is the fact that she's treated as Sakura's equal or that she has to catch up with her. Like for example the chunin exams. I 100% believe Ino should have won that match. Yes, Ino loses badly against any other person but she had every right to win against Sakura.
Even her relationship with Sai. I used to think that it was to show Ino was still hung up on Sasuke and had to settle for a look alike but now I think maybe a healthier and mutual version of SS.
I don't think much of her. Her character is not very deep or substantial or well explored. But she certainly has an arc with whatever visibility she gets. She starts off as a fangirl and is shown as hung up on Sasuke till the end despite Sasuke never having shown any interest in her. We see her dreaming about Sasuke during infinite tsukuyomi and remembering Sasuke during her father's last moment. But she matures. She gives confidence to Sakura, when Sakura is very small and insecure about her looks. She helps her during the forest of death arc (and yet Sakura disrespects her during the one on one chuunin battle) and even fixes her hair. She didn't have to do any of it considering how Sakura treated her. But she did. She is encouraging towards her team mates, she gives confidence to Chouji when he is feeling inadequate during the war arc and she is determined to contribute to the war efforts, ceaselessly working with her mind affecting jutsus. She really takes on a lot given her experience and carries on her father's legacy proudly. She desists from grieving her father who has just been bombed and keeps working without shedding tears. Her team is the only team of their generation that actually demonstrates team work. Even though Chouji and Shikamaru are best friends, she doesn't get insecure or resentful, she keeps up with them and she is good friends with both of them. She is smart, as evidenced in her battle with Sakura, when she cuts off her hair that is initially perceived as a dramatic schtick like it definitely was for Sakura, but uses it to her advantage in the battle, tricking Sakura, like a proper shinobi would. She certainly deserved that win. Her character arc certainly sees a change and she evolves to be a more mature and skilled person. Unlike Sakura and Hinata.
However her relationship with Sai is still shady. The filler used SNS tropes to get them together. But it's not really seen in canon anywhere. Sai is gay coded and he is shown to be not interested in Ino in Naruto and Shippuden canon. I wouldn't compare it with SS anyhow because Ino and Sai are different types of people. Sai doesn't have a romantic interest in her but he also doesn't get annoyed by her. However, there's hardly any development between the two. But in Boruto, they do come off as harmonious. So at least it's not toxic like SS or NH. They were just half heartedly paired up so Inojin could play his part in Boruto. That's all the foundation for InoSai.
She was perhaps one of the very few people who sees Sakura as she is. The other ones being Sasuke and Naruto. She keeps implying that she gets why Sakura does what she does. Plus this.
Tumblr media
She gets that Sakura is a deeply insecure person who measures her self worth through constant external validation and the status of the boy she likes. Even though we get to see Sakura having an inner voice that is her real voice that Ino doesn't, Ino gets that Sakura is a duplicitous person.
I don't really mind that she picks on Chouji though because it all seems like a private joke. Yes, Chouji is insecure about his looks as well. But he should understand that it is his jutsu that makes him look like that and it's his jutsu that requires him to eat huge amounts of food. He is the one who gets triggered when someone calls him fat, which he is. He owns it eventually, and that's where his coming of age arc concludes, him letting his insecurities go, breaking out of his cocoon and sprouting wings, literally. Lol. Ino just helps toughen him up, she is a carefree and confident girl who doesn't feel the need to constantly walk on eggshells with others, unlike Hinata. Ugh. But it's not like she is totally insensitive. She does very well in war arc to emotionally support Shikamaru and Chouji. And she is besides herself feeling genuinely sad for Sasuke when he briefly works for Akatsuki and doesn't jump on the bandwagon that wants to get rid of him without knowing his story.
But one thing I can say. As far as her being Sakura's rival goes, Ino certainly surpasses her as per the narrative and their respective arcs. They both use different types of jutsus and they have different strengths so there's not much of a scope for comparison in Shippuden. Ino is a sensory ninja where her expertise necessarily lies is being part of the inoshikacho combination attack, Sakura is a medical ninja with the ability to punch. But while Sakura is clearly shown to not have accomplished much in the war arc but mostly being a liability (what with attacking Madara and getting rescued and failure of stabbing Obito's eye and again getting rescued and then again in lava dimension) but bragging about it nevertheless, Ino is shown to have matured, become more determined and skillful, taking her duties seriously and working hard to genuinely save her people, not to show off to others. Cookie points for her and a tissue box for Sakura. ))

ss and nh shippers have one thing in common: they're not satisfied with kishimoto's canon
SJ - We need to make more money so expand the franchise and make Sasuke and Naruto have kids.
Kishi - I don't wanna.
SJ - You wanna keep on cashing cheques? Or do you want little Timmy to go hungry and Mary to lose her house and Herbert to give up his therapy?
Kishi - .......
...........
Goes on a walk in the cold cold winter. Grumble grumble, kicking stones, punching trees, screaming into the void, making four or fifty SNS kissyface art in the snow with a stick he found on the road, weep and weep some more......
(Sighs)
SJ - Well?
Kishi - Fine but Sasuke and Naruto will look like shit, Sasuke will not stay in Konoha, he will avoid Sakura like the plague and Naruto won't stay the same fun, spirited boy full of beautiful blond hair that you know and love and he won't sleep with his wife. Sakura will be a virgin and Hinata will be the same dumb, forever useless, an inadequate housewife and mother, and neither of them will have any significant contribution to the narrative. I reserve my right to make fun of them at every opportunity and I will not draw or write the series personally.
SJ - It's a deal.

Okay but how funny is it that Ino has more relevancy in the Boruto manga plot than Hinata and Sakura. And Naruto interacts with her more than his wife and his "friend" slash former teammate 🤣
Not surprising at all. Kishi has a vendetta against those two lovely ladies and he would blithely show it too, no holds barred. Even though he didn't give much attention to Ino's character in Naruto and Shippuden, he gave her a positive characterisation, if a little fangirly in the beginning, but he gave her an arc and made her evolve. She went through a credible change and now is more useful to Naruto than the other two combined. Kishi is a very funny man. He also knows how to keep a grudge. Lol.

Besides naruto and sasuke, who are some of your other favorite characters?
Gaara. I related with him the most in the entire manga. His backstory was the moment when I got truly hooked. Kishi had me by his claws. I was very invested in his story and it was quite apparent that he was one of the crucial characters that would affect the plot and the protagonist in the process of which, both will undergo change, and so there was a lot of anticipation there.
Neji. While I appreciate him more in retrospect, because this was a boy who stood in the middle of the stadium where all the kages and jounins and the civilians were gathered, and fearlessly talked of oppression supported by the system at the risk of being rendered paralysed or half dead by his slavemaker curse, at the time I liked how he carried himself. Intelligent and talented, a no nonsense dude. And he shut Hinata up who was deliberately egging him on. I loved their fight during chuunin exams, I would not have minded if he were allowed to keep going on... He is individualistic and strong, he is a non conformist and has solid reasons to be that way, I appreciate that.
Deidara. He is just so much fun. Kishi can write all sorts of villains, that's one of his many strengths. He doesn't have a tragic backstory like others, and he doesn't suffer from savior complex or mad acquisition of knowledge and secrets of the world, or retribution (except for Itachi, but that's just another art driven shenanigans of his). He does it for art, lol. He is just a crazy, artsy guy who loves arson. Lol. And that makes up for interesting, engaging action.
Orochimaru. Another wonderful villain. He creates a sense of dread, a certain squirmy quality that is also very thrilling and suspense building. He is so cunning, always one step ahead. He always has an Uno reverse card in his sleeve. Lol. And his wit. Lolol. He is so catty and incisively so. He is also the product of this system and he has a very real insight into this world himself but he has been desensitized. He uses the system itself for his own objective, that benefits his own self. He is certainly a very interesting character in his own right. And he is the only adult who takes a serious stand for Sasuke and that means something. Because it is done in front of all the dead kages, no matter how strong they were.
Madara. Crazy mofo. I happen to love characters that are hella strong, intelligent, stylish, have a sense of humor and are justifiably arrogant. I love how he keeps roasting the five kages, acting like the cat playing with the little mice just for fun before killing them off. I like bloody mayhem in a battle, and this man is so skilled and so powerful, it just makes for such good and humorous action. Not to mention his crazy obsession with Hashirama, he is strong but has his vulnerabilities and doesn't care to hide them, I mean the man just plants his ass on the ground like a stubborn child in a cereal aisle when Hashi sends his clone to fight him, like he just won't be mollycoddled. He is enjoying the battle so much. He exemplifies battle lust. Also, I liked how he was not so predictable. Hashirama sends Sasuke to somehow reason with Madara seeing he looked like Izuna. But Madara wasn't having it. He won't be manipulated. The way he was backstabbed by that piddly ass Black Zetsu, just like Hashirama did, was just cruel man. Kishi and his cruel parallels.
Kakuzu and Hidan. I say both of their names because their rapport is what brings out both their characters. They are snarky, stylish, well Hidan is, smart, strong and form a good team. Their fight with Naruto, Shikamaru and the rest of the team was pretty enjoyable.
I would say Temari, she is bold, sharp, strong, confident, displays strong leadership, with a level head on her shoulders. But of course, her character is not very explored, and I wish it was. I also like sand siblings' dynamic. Kankuro also has his good moments, funny dude. I would have also liked to see Tenten been given a chance. Oh Kish..
Shikamaru is fine, I don't care for his misogyny but otherwise he gets quite a bit of good visibility and his arc is not bad either. He is smart, strategic and calmly cunning during battles and he is emotional but he doesn't let that get in the way of a battle. I appreciate that. He has got his priorities straight. A stable character.
Gai. He is a kind man, always positive but not in a toxic way. Persevered despite his handicap and worked haaard. Strong, sensitive, vulnerable, has a close bond with his team, and is the perennial cheerleader. He cares for his friends, subordinates, and doesn't back away from a fight. He was already knocking on death's door when he decided to tackle Madara, and he did it with such aplomb. Impressive. His interaction with Kisame is also quite funny. I like Kisame as well. Such a gentleman. I also like his backstory, quite a complex one.

do you think kishi created karin so sk would be end game? were there any hints that sasuke and karin were in a relationship (i read a post where someone proves that they fucked☠️☠️☠️) before shippuden or that they would become canon?
No. Karin is thirsty for Sasuke. Like a lot of other characters. The point of it all was to show Sasuke was desirable to different people. For different reasons ofc. His character is inspired by the bishounen archetype so it's pretty much expected. For Oro and Kabuto for experimentation. For Obito for his own vengeful ends. For Sakura to possess him because she thinks she is entitled to anything she wants. For Ino because she is a Sasuke fangirl. For Naruto because Naruto relates with him and finds a kindred spirit in him.
No, SK was not supposed to be endgame. I don't know where these theories come from. He never showed any interest in her or consideration for her apart from what he generally shows towards ALL his team mates. Including Sakura (in part one), Juugo and Suigetsu. Anytime Karin tried to show interest in him, which was mostly sexual, blatantly so, Sasuke sternly told her to get away from him, and/or looked mighty uncomfortable or puzzled. Which makes sense because he is GAY and loves Naruto. I heard something like there was a popularity poll about whether Sasuke would be paired up with Sakura or Karin and Sakura won the poll, so it became endgame. But I am not sure, it's possible it is a rumor. Narratively though, SK doesn't have anything, not from Sasuke's side.
The post you read about them getting busy, if I am right, was probably written by that silly homophobic Sasuke stan girl. Those folks simply want to make Sasuke straight so they can self insert into Karin and have themselves a nice bedtime fantasy. It's really not more complex than that. Although I will agree that Karin showed more genuine concern for Sasuke than Sakura ever did, that's for sure. The way she, Oro and Taka rescued him from Madara in war arc was pretty cool.
Tumblr media
Karin, evolving a new power, being fearless and more importantly delivering on it too. Karin is also a fangirl, but still better than Sakura and Hinata, in terms of skills for sure. Lol.

There are many very deliberate parallels between Sai and Sasuke in terms of their relation to Naruto, the physical looks, the member replacement, the ambiguous nature of relationship between Shin and Sai ( Yes, I know Sai calls him brother but he obviously doesn't really know what that means), Shin holding Sai's hands in Sai's drawing book and Sasuke and Naruto's bloody phantom hands holding each other in chapter 698, but this one has to be the most interesting. And hilarious.
