unbearably good buldak carbonara: added lightly boiled shrimp and baby spinach, plus some green onion greens and shredded cheddar. into the soup i added: a chicken stock packet, 1T mayo (stirred together in the bowl) and also sauteed scallion whites and 1t minced garlic before adding milk, carbonara powder, noodles, and buldak sauce to taste (about 2T)

2025 new recipe #4 | rice paper shrimp pancake via cafe maddy
this looked good and honestly its fine mine just did not crisp up and mostly stayed so soggy style... i think i will just make regular pajeon in the future haha ... i suspect something about the ratio of shrimp to cornstarch in the filling is where things are going wrong but the recipe is veryvague and doesnt clarify filling texture either so idk how to troubleshoot

SO GOOD. and actually stir frying carrots and spinach is way easier than i thought?? idk i jist never did it before ig. the mung bean pancakes got sooo crunchy and delicious in the toaster oven, super good w the sauce

making and freezing bulk japanese style hamburg!! wrapping in foil to help w freezer burn, and for the first time also freezing the sauce in serving sizes to reheat to make it easier to portion out! i also made 4 mini hamburg steaks to keep in the fridge bc i want to make bento later this weekend!
its actually so nice to cook in bulk and freeze. i dislike cooking for dinner, but i like eating a variety of things across meals in a week. doing this keeps me from making peanut noodles three nights a week haha.
