Have you ever felt your heart melt from someone simply smiling at you?

Do you know what it’s like to argue without someone you love and while your both still angry still help, protect, and care for one another?

You know, all my life I thought unconditional love was something that only a family can have. Now that I’m grown and starting to build who I call my own family I realize unconditional love exists all around and it starts with yourself.

You see once you learn to love yourself and be comfortable and confident, those who are also comfortable and confident begin to come to you. You begin to form a friendship, which by definition is a relationship, from there you progress and build a bond. From that bond you develop trust and a love that you can share with someone. Even if it’s not for them.

In my case that bond solidified, it became an anchor. Even with constant arguments and disagreements, that bond held us together because of a common interest. To this day I don’t remember exactly what that common interest was, but in a way I feel like it was each other.

Honest to god I haven’t felt this empty in forever

So I started seeing someone new and it’s been about a month since we started talking and getting real close. We’re together day and night, before and after work but mind you baby girl works and still goes to school. It’s crazy cause we started talking because we were both looking for new friends and REAL friends and after getting so close with her I realized she’s not just my best friend, she’s my cheerleader, my motivation and inspiration and oh my god just seeing her smile makes me lose track of reality. When we’re in public and I catch someone staring at her I smile hard as hell cause if you saw us together you’d think “those 2 are cocky” and you’re damn right. We know we’re the shit. What makes her so attractive to me is the fact that she knows and I know I want her, but she doesn’t for a second need me and that drives me fucking crazy. She’s so irresistible and it feels sooo good to take it slow and let me get in my feelings
