“You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.” – Psalm 16:11

The above verse describes beautifully what life in Christ looks like.

There are two paths in life that we need to choose from. One is wide and diverse, and it leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13-14). The way of satan. The other is the path of life, and it is narrow and difficult. It's the path of life, of trust in Jesus, of repentance from sin, of rest, of power and of love. It's a path where the presence of God fills our spirit with unspeakable joy. Why should we trade this place for temporary pleasures of sin?

Prayer: Father, thank You that in Your presence there's fullness of joy and at Your right hand are pleasures for evermore. Help us to walk in the narrow path always. Keep us from willful sin, and help us never to stray away from the path You have set before us. In Jesus' name, Amen
