oh, he was so much like his father. for the worst, in this instance. unlike his rufus, at least, he didn't run his mouth in the face of danger (no, he usually was biting someone). "... so if tseng is getting the groceries, does this make him my mom?"

Rufus stayed silent for a moment, his gaze not leaving Lucia's eyes as he pulled out his phone and brought it up to his ear. "Tseng, get some milk. And sour candy."

"i can't tell if you're the leading cause of stress in your own life or in dads." lucia comments, lifting his gaze from what he'd been so focused on. "just accept the help."

"Then I suppose I can look at it. See what I can do- No. No I won't." Kuja quickly cut off his musing to shake his head. "He already has far too much on his plate, I will not ask him to do that as well. It's unfair to me, but that's my problem. Not his to worry about."
