what she means: will byers has been through enough!!! this poor child just wanted to geek out with his friends and draw pictures and ride around on his bike, but instead he was kidnapped, trapped in another dimension all by himself while he was being hunted down by a blood-thirsty monster, died and was resuscitated and then was bullied for not dying, suffered from self-degradation because of the bullying, had PTSD from all this messed up stuff, was stuck between two worlds and had terrifying visions, underwent mcfreakin possession, was BURNED ALIVE, experienced memory loss, had his mind controlled, and endured complete loss of self. yet despite going through all of this will byers is the sweetest boy in the world and i would die for him he has done nothing wrong and it physically pains me to see him upset oh my god i'm going to cry
