THEN LATER, HIS GHOST
SUMMARIZER- ZHYRYL WYN ANAB
The morning was dark or it was still night of December 23rd. There  was a man lay unmoving beneath in his blanket feeling cold, fire had gone out it was hard keeping it in overnight but if he didn't get up it would be the beginning of the end. The weather was unpleasant and strong it could be destroys everything and he knows that people who stayed inside get into trouble. No one was going to help. Crawling into little shelter was more preferable
There was a great ooming sound above, almost oceanic the top of the sky heaving and breaking. A bully of a wind. When it come to the east lot of house remaining house roof went because of the strong weather another reason not stay inside you must do be alert because anytime your house will may collapse. Then he turned to his side looking around the whole house this is not the typical house he wanted but when he saw Helene he wanted to stay just for her.
Then something fairly large object past the house and something broke outside. He heard shifting and strengthening that night, though he still uses to sleep. He try to remember the old days that the trees are still standing upright and placid, the air itself seeming vanish. He tries to recalling the past just like a childhood myths and last he sleep restlessly and his dream were turbulent full of violence, war and Helene being swept away. Another day came the climate was good. He likes to being strung to rope, jump to the building fly like spectra. Then he pictured out a buffalo enormous and black-brown. He move and boiled water made a tea. He makes a fire to make it warm for Helene. Helene sleep peacefully then suddenly he look to Helene her eyes were beautiful and imagine he Helene and him sleep together. He always looks at Helene looking her beautiful face but Helene mostly looks afraid because of the baby coming. Helene never said what happen to her, but he could guess. He found her in the Catholic Cathedral two died men besides her.
Helene loved reading but there too plenty book he had he want Helene to be happy but there no book left the town library has been demolished by a big storm. He loved Helene to much he must choice Helene first before himself it was the first Christmas he celebrated with Helene. Helene makes things nicer for him. One day he decides to go outside the wind was heavy and the weather was bad but it seems no one can stop him just for Helene books and happiness. He packed his things ready to go just like a storm diver he thought but its better not to be heroic. Then he  goes outside after searching he a house. There were two doors on the house one to the north and the other to the west. He chooses the west door, he opened it the wind blow when he opened it the house was not really strong but not weak also. Then he find barn and find Craig in a rank bunker near the market. Craig was much older than him but wasn't clever or good at planning. Things had turned bad. He need to go out as soon as possible the lighthouse would be the best round, aerodynamics and made to withstand battering. But coast was impossible. But he finds a way. He inched along the barn wall, towards the open. He planned a route though the town. It's not been easy to travel surrounded with a bad climate he might knock down because of the collision but he used different techniques depends on the situations. He encounters a dangerous open stretch. The huff he called it. He travelled the huff with fear it’s not easy across the huff he struggled a lot, he almost die just to across the huff and luckily he cross the huff alive. Then he continues his path to Golden Triangle.
Across his journey towards to the Golden Triangle he found a house the house was ruined he found a man sitting in a chair a corpse then he go searching  in house he found a book of Shakespeare he put it in here bag. He remembers Helene. He didn't want to leave Helene longer he close the door and found his in mirror like an alien a monster or a demon. Then he climbed back out of the window and snow driving past on the wind.
CONNECTOR- JEMIMA DELIT
Then later, His Ghost story, the story was about Helene and his husband expecting and wishing to have a baby. Her husband were collecting baby formulas. This story has a similarity with the story of  Nanking Store. Nanking Store, the couple wanted to have a baby or son because of their family tradition and to continue the Zhin bloodline. Both of the stories reveals that everything has its perfect time. Every happenings has its own reasons. We should live with it and learn from it.
PASSAGE PICKER- RICHIEL LANOHAN
"He pictured the buffalo. It was enormous and black-brown. It had a giant head and the shoulders of a weightlifter, a tapered back end, small, upturned horns. It looked permanently, structurally braced. He sat up, moved the blankets away, and then stood."
 - He wanted to get up, but it was too cold to move.  He convinced himself that there was a buffalo waiting to attack him.  He was able to get up because of his imagination.
"He had different techniques, depending on the situation. Sometimes he crawled miles. Sometimes he crouched like an ape and lumbered. Other times he made dashes, if there were intermittent blasts, cannon balling the lulls, but he could get caught out doing that."
 - The techniques were for precautions.  He crawled and crouched to avoid getting carried away by a strong wind, and he dashed to miss the airborne debris.
"He put on hefty waterproof trousers and jacket. He cleaned and put on the goggles. He pulled the hood of the jacket up, yanked the toggles and tied them tightly. He taped the neck. He taped his cuffs and his ankles, his knees and his elbows. "
 - He decided to go out so he could get some books for her sister.  He prepared himself by putting on thick waterproof trousers and jacket so he wouldn't die of coldness and also to somewhat protect himself from the flying objects. He taped his cuffs and his ankles, his knees and his elbows, probably to give warm to his bare body parts that were exposed.

SULTANA’S DREAM
CHARACTER CAPTAIN- RICHIEL P. LANOHAN
Curiosity refers to the strong desire to know something. To see the unseen and to know the unknown is inherent in human nature. This aspect reflects to the attitude and how Sultana sees things. Reading the passage/novel we could barely see how Sultana approaches the girl which she thought to be Sister Sarah. Sultana was always curious about everything, she always wanted to know more, from the different places up to the way people govern the area. All in all, we could immensely believe that the Sultana is a smart girl. Why do I say so? It is because curiosity opens new prospects and produces newer interest to further progress. One definition defines approachable is the easy way to meet or converse with others. If you look further at some of the synonyms, you will find words like friendly, open, open-minded, amenable, accessible, and sociable. This aspect reflects to the personality of the woman which Sultana thought to be Sister Sarah. The woman welcomes Sultana as is they were already known before. The way she acts and do things helps me figure out her personality which is being approachable. Let’s all remember that your smile will be your welcoming card to others and a sign to others that you are friendly, sociable, and approachable.
 CONNECTOR- ZHYRYL WYN ANAB
I connect the Sultana's Dream in the story of wonder woman they have similarities in theme that woman are higher than men that men is just a subordinate in the world in the story of wonder woman they have their own civilization just like the story of sultana dream they have also rule and way living and they also they own law. In the story of wonder woman, women must only live in their island called Themyscira they are not allowed to go out without the permission of the they queen named Hippolyta just like the story of sultana dream Hyppolyta is wise leader just like queen in Sultana Dream. Hippolyta    make a rule in the island that no men must entered the island because there are a distraction in the island and source of sin,she also believe that woman doesn't need man to live because they are superior than men she also teach the Amazona(women live in Themyscira) how live without the help of men she  make everyone independent to men. Hippolyta also make Themyscira as island that free from Sin and harm she also teach everyone to live stronger than men and wiser than men in every aspect.
LITERARY ARTIST- JEMIMA DELIT
A woman is strong and brave
Mess with her and she will dig your grave.
Gentle, sweet, elegant, fragile, graceful and feminine.
Words that describes a woman.
Sweeping the floor, cooking our food
A woman should know how to the household chores
And that would be their only role
Because they need to stay at home
Who would have thought of a thing?
That woman can do what man can do.
Built a house, driving a car
And be a leader of many people.
Is it amazing to see them work and learn to lift themselves?
Is it stunning to grow to world with equality?
That man and woman are the same not thinking about the gender
Living in a peaceful place that you can do the things you want.
SUMMARIZER - SPENCH LESTER ROMERO
It was evening when Sultan was lounging in her chair in her bedroom and thinking lazily of the condition of Indian womanhood. A lady stood before her, not knowing where she came in. She took her to Sister Sara. Share greeted her good morning though it was starry night.
They come out and take a look at the garden. Sultana was in doubt of going out that time but still decided to go. While walking, Sultana found herself in a fully awake and lively town in a fine morning. Some passers- by made a joke with her asking sister Sara what is it about, but found out it was not really her, but t a totally stranger. She felt nervous and afraid, hence sister Sara said not to worry, they were in the Ladyland, free from sin and harm. By that, she continued calling her Sister Sara.
They headed to the garden and admiringly the whole place and continued chatting. They were now in the kitchen when Sultana asked about how they cook. Sister Sara answered by the help of solar hear. Then, Sara told a about a little history, the two universities invented the captive balloon and the sun heat collector. She said, they were invaded and took what they have. The enemy was too strong, most warriors were killed and the rest driven back.
They were out of physical strength. A meeting of some wise ladies was held at the Queen's palace for some advice. "If you cannot save your country for lack of physical strength, try to do so by brain power" said the Queen. The lady principal of the second university, who collected the sun heat, was silently thinking. One plan she would like to try, that was to use what they made. The lady principal together with her two thousands students marched to the battlefield, and arriving there directed all the rays of the concentrated heat towards the enemy. The invaders were defeated for heat and light were too much to bear. All men were sent to Zenana while women do the works
Sultana asked Sister Sara what is her religion. "Our religion is based on love and truth. It is our religious duty to love and to be absolutely truthful" she answered. Sultana saw purity itself reigns over their land. Saw the good queen, visited the famous universities, shown some of their manufactories, laboratories and observatories.
After all of that, she got into the air- car, Sultana slipped down and fall startled her dream. Opening her eye, she found herself in her own bedroom still lounging.
PASSAGE PICKER - JOSEPH DEJAN CAPINIG
“We talked on various subjects, and I learned that they were not subject to any kind of epidemic disease, nor did they suffer from mosquito bites as we do. I was very much astonished to hear that in Ladyland no one died in youth except by rare accident.”
I chose this passage for a reason that anyone who can hear this statement can feel the amazement about how this land works and on how the people living there survives; incredulity in a way that it is unbelievable or fictional if we’ll have it on our own experiences, but the thing is this land is such an incredible one knowing that no one died in their youth and no subject were subjected to any kind of epidemic disease. Thus, a sense that with the blessings that their Queen bestowed upon this land, came the responsibility to make theirworld a better place with a good humanity for women.
“Our good Queen liked science very much. She circulated an order that all the women in her country should be educated. Accordingly a number of girls' schools were founded and supported by the government. Education was spread far and wide among women. And early marriage also was stopped. No woman was to be allowed to marry before she was twenty-one. I must tell you that, before this change we had been kept in strict purdah.”
I really do select this passage because it talks about how their Queen was attached to education; how their Queen find education very significant and how education was spread over their land particularly among women over early marriage. What I love about this passage is that anyone can take a lesson from it because nowadays, some people tend to take education a frivolous one. But in this land, education is the only thing they used to fight for their own right and being an intellectual one is a great achievement for surviving. And when it comes in marriage, they take it seriously, but education was nearly crucial than it. Therefore, the Queen do really want all the women in her country to be an educated one because in her land education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.
“In two hours! How do you manage? In our land the officers, – magistrates, for instance – work seven hours daily.”
I chose this passage because this was a question by the stranger to the main character and it also made me asked myself how do I manage mytwo hours, in this passage the stranger share how much they value time in their land, for them time is so precious and it should not wasted.

A LITTLE INCIDENT
SUMMARIZER- Richiel P. Lanohan
The story happen in a little town during  breezy day. The one who narrated the story, the rickshaw puller, the old woman and the police officer. The first person in the story was the one who narrated, He was the one who experienced the internal conflict. He was, for me, insensitive and inconsiderate for the feelings of the old woman. Even if he saw the incident that dragged the old woman on all fours, he showed her no mercy. Instead, he ordered the rickshaw puller to continue what they were doing. He is the protagonist and the antagonist in the story since he experienced internal conflict after the incident. The rickshaw puller, however, was the one who showed care and concern for the old woman. he showed sympathy and was able to help the woman made her way to safety. He showed concern even if his mere act would mean disobedience to the narrator of the story, his master in the story. The old woman was the one dragged by the rickshaw. He stumbled on all fours and had her clothes torn. Just like the old woman, the police played only a minor role in the story. Quite insignificant, he just approached the first person in the end of the story. The incident also hurt her and to think She is old, She’s probably weak by the years that had gone.
CHARACTER CAPTAIN- Joseph Dejan Capinig Jr.
The “I”: is the narrator, the who hire the rickshaw puller
Is both the antagonist and protagonist of the story
The “Rickshaw Puller”: is the who help the woman whom they got tangled with.
Is kind and soft-hearted.
Plays a big part for the I’s realizations.
The “woman”: the one who got bumped by the rickshaw
The police man: the one who tried to solve the incident.
  PASSAGE PICKER- Jemima Irish Delit
“But one little incident alone is deep with meaning to me, and I am unable to forget it even now. “
-The character remember every detail about that “little incident” because of that he learned something that impels him to be a better person. As for us, we don’t know if that “little incident” might turn into a “unforgettable incident” because that incident might change us. Not to be a bad person but to change us to be better a person who has hope, courage and good heart.
“I saw you fall and it was not all rough. How can you be hurt? You are pretending.”
 - You are just a great pretender even though it hurts inside. Sometimes, people pretend because they don’t want to see other people their weakness and their true feelings. Sometimes, its greater to pretend than to show the real you.
LITERARY ARTIST - Zhyryl Wyn Anab
“NEVER JUDGE SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING. SOMEDAY YOU MAY FIND YOUR SELF NOTHING AT ALL.”
-Never judge people by what they have. We are all equal, we are perfect. The only thing we can do is the kindness in our heart, help each other . Sometimes we can see the poorest people are those the kindness one
  CONNECTOR - Spench Lester Romero
We can connect and contrast this story from the movie Miracle in Cell Number 7. Where there was a child who accidentally died, and the man was only trying to help her but was accused that he was the one who killed the child, that in fact its true intention is only to revive her.. The father of the child knows what exactly happened, but because of his pride he showed no mercy at all. The man who tried to help was put into jail and sentenced to death penalty. It is a contrast in the story little incident because the narrator maybe look so bad that he showed no mercy, but in the end because of conscience he felt symphaty with the old woman ang the rickshaw puller that he decided to hand a fistful of coppers. While on the movie, instead of appreciating the help of a man, he was accused and push through the cell by the father of the child.

Let every moment flow
What it’s going to flow
What’s meant to flow?
Will come your way.
What’s not will fall away.
Today I am free
I can do what I want
No one can stop me
I wish this day would never end.
But my day is sad
Without seeing my love
I feel incomplete
I am coming back.
Appreciate me love
The thing about me is
I settle for coal when in fact
I deserve sparkling diamonds.
CONNECTOR - Richiel Lanohan
Both protagonists had to run away from their love ones in order to know what they needed. Kevin in Home Alone had to run away from his family (particularly his mother) to be able to realize that they loved him. Zale in A Day Off had to run away from Abdu in order to get the break she deserved and also to realize some things about her husband.
character- Kevin in Home Alone felt unwanted and taken for granted by his family, which he found necessary to wish that his family would disappear (part 1) and delay contacting his parents (part 2). Same is with Zale in a Day Off.
