PLAY ME A LOVE SONG

Kim Taehyung, a very famous DJ from Daegu, known as DJ V, is the source of all love songs for all kinds of people, from all walks of life. He used to be on the early morning show but when he turned 24, he moved at late night spot.

His nightly show where he talks to his listeners became very famous since people who were seeking love advice can sign up and be picked to be a caller of the night where Taehyung and his listener can talk about finding the solution for their heartaches, where they can + freely play their songs and listen to a sound love advice.

Not until Jeon Jeongguk became the caller, the source of Kim Taehyung's pain, the ex-boyfriend, the one who fell in love with Taehyung's bestfriend after breaking up with him. He proposed to Taehyung's best friend only+ to find out that Jeongguk was cheated upon the said bestfriend not just once but twice and now as DJ V listened to his ex-boyfriend's woes, was torn whether or not he would reach out or not.

Jeongguk became a regular listener, talking to DJ V about his failure in love but when+ Jeongguk told DJ V about his first love, Kim Taehyung, DJ V automatically put down the phone, not knowing what to do, saying that there were having technical difficulty.

But luckily, DJ V had to go on tour for his book launch about the different love stories he had heard. Both of them didn't know that fate had a plan for them.

Jeongguk is the PR Manager of the publishing house who published DJ V's book.

He was in charge of the promotions of his ex's book which make them interact a lot after a long time of talking to each other. Will they be able to rekindle the spark of their love?

Or will their love just fizzle out because the mistrust and the doubt? A/N

"I will wait for you sunbaenim," Jeongguk said as he looked at Taehyung who was standing at the door to the elder's house.

Jeongguk knew that Taehyung was not going to follow him out because after the accident at the football game, Park Seojoon rushed to see Taehyung at his house after Jeongguk brought him home.

Pain.

Jeongguk signed up for this.

He knew what he was getting into, the moment he saw Taehyung from the bleachers after he finished his volleyball game.

He nudged his best friend, Min Yoongi and asked him who he was and Yoongi said he came back from the military and is currently a varsity football player from school.

For the first time in his life, he had never seen a person as handsome as he was and he was smitten to the point that all he did when he was around was just to stare at Kim Taehyung, football captain.

And so did Park Seojoon who was his running back. He saw the way they both stare into each other’s eyes and Jeongguk instantly knew that he never stood a chance between the two, so he hung back from the background just staring, appreciating, hoping that somehow Kim Taehyung would never look his way.

Min Yoongi was observing his best friend one day at the cafeteria when Jeongguk was just openly staring at Taehyung.

“Are you gay, Jeongguk?” Min Yoongi asked him.

Jeongguk whipped his head to his best friend, eyebrows furrowed, just wondering where he got these observations from.

“I see you always staring at Taehyung, are you gay?” Min Yoongi peered closely, talking only to his ear, not allowing anyone to hear.

Jeongguk still did not talk. He just looked at him because he was searching his thoughts as well. “I don’t know, hyung. For the first time I found someone really attractive and I am totally enamored by him.”

Yoongi chuckled, “Don’t worry. No judgements here Jeonggukie, just so you know, I am.”

Jeongguk widened his eyes, “Why didn’t you tell me?!” Jeongguk exclaimed as he punched his best friend on his shoulders.

“I didn’t necessarily plan on coming out yet but if it makes you open to your sexuality and since I trust you with my life, I say why not?”

“Thank you,” Jeongguk said as he squeezed his shoulder.

Jeongguk stood up as the school bell rang, when he turned around, he bumped into someone, accidentally spilling his drink, well he spilled his drink to the most unlikely person. He spilled his drink onto Taehyung.

Jeongguk’s eyes widened in horror as he put his hands on his face, all beaten red with embarrassment.

“I am so sorry, sunbaenim.” was all Jeongguk could mutter.

Taehyung looked at him, stoic, with a small smile on his lips, “Don’t worry about it Jeongguk.” He then walked away.

Jeongguk quickly turned to Yoongi and whispered loudly, “he knows my name.”

His best friend swatted his butt, “well, everyone knows you. You are a star volleyball player.”

The final bell rang and Jeongguk got alarmed. “Gotta hurry.” He said as he sped out of the cafeteria, running to the engineering building which was on the other side of campus.

That is how Jeongguk met Taehyung and after a few accidents, spills, slips and bumping into each other, Taehyung knew that he had to handle this situation.

One day, Jeongguk was running late when he tripped on a rock and plunged into Taehyung which made them both fall.

And Jeongguk just stared into the elder’s eyes, lost and mesmerized. And Taehyung stood up quietly and saw that Jeongguk ripped his jeans, and well, spilled his iced coffee on Taehyung’s shirt.

Jeongguk covered his face with embarrassment, “I am sorry, sunbae,” still sitting on the pavement, covering his red face.

Taehyung found it amusing, well, he found him amusing because he easily blushes whenever he catches him staring at him.

Jeongguk looked at him as Taehyung stretched his hand and he actually reached out for it.
