Swancurl insomnia... Curly actually getting a few more winks of sleep with Swansea dozing by his side. Even if he still stays up for most of the night, it feels strangely comforting having the guy snoring up a storm next to him.
#at first no not at all. but then he suddenly can't seem to sleep WITHOUT hearing swansea breathing next to him in pitch black darkness#Ummmmmm yeah. (2 am). Okay I think Curly would want to have the AC blasting ice cold right on them and Swansea would HATE it 💔#it is most certainly a little intentional on curly's part because then they have a reason to share body heat (he thinks he needs a reason?)#Spooning and everything... Sort of. Before I pass out. Swansea is the little spoon which Curly finds amusing and ironic consideirng what#he's nicknamed the guy.#There's a lot of grumbling but his grouchiness melts like the cold on his skin because Curly's already got that arm around him!!!!!!!#Maybe the chest to chest position too but I imagine Swansea would complain about having to bend his old man limbs in all of these positions#(not many positions at all...)#It usually ends with Curly resting his chin on top of Swansea's head while the older man is dead to the world.#Curly himself really soaking up the physical contact. The snoring sure but The Feeling of Swansea's heartbeat against him. Good stuff there#And he may not go down for a kip himself but at least he can be by big swans side............#Okay i:m going to sleep now (2am) I was just thinking about this#Do i even tag this.#Sure.#Sobercake

theres this thing i thought about again. (after i already gave him an epic death in my main au)
im honestly thinking a lot about the implications of a scenario where Swansea is rescued
you worked so hard to change. not just for yourself but for the people around you. your family. but then you become stranded with no hope of ever surviving. you arent planning to survive. so you realize theres nothing more at stake and that there are no consequences for letting yourself turn back into your worst self. and once you do all the efforts to erase it start to look meaningless. but you dont care because you'll never see your family again
but then. you're saved. and you have to face them. and live on with what you did to yourself
