it’s been 24 hours and i’m still stuck on the fact

it’s anecdotal and at the same time it feels like it changes everything. turns out for allison patty was never just her husband’s bff’s sister with whom she had never really connected before. she was this interesting girl she had met in a bar at a low point in her life, which then prompted her to talk to the group this girl was with, and the rest is history

it’s such a small detail but that small detail is like projecting a new light on their relationship and on everything that happened last season

it gives me a completely new perspective on allison’s feelings throughout this whole thing and on what her feelings might be now

it’s like this tiny piece of the puzzle suddenly reveals the picture in all its glory

these women did not find each other along the way, it is their meeting that started everything

and now their story can only feel fated, inevitable, inescapable, because allison met patty first
