“You can’t just make an offer like that and expect me to say no. Of course I’d like it if you made clothes for me, if they’re as nice as this scarf. Just name your favor and I’d owe it to you, sweetheart.” He held a hand up to the scarf, feeling its softness. He didn’t doubt Pup for even a second.

Unfortunately for Azul, Fluff only understood favors and debts and didn’t accept just anything for free (except for on certain days where accepting free stuff was expected of him). No gift should go without reciprocation.

“M-Mweh? A favor?” Azul asked, obviously surprised about the last statement and he shakes his head, waving his hands in front of him. “No, no! I don’t want to ask any favors from you! There’s no payment in me making clothes for you.” He said as he smiled.

“no favors on this. az’s mostly doing clothes whenever he’s bored so it would take him a while to make it too.”

Mystery gave a small nod. “I would love to see what’s beyond. Hearing from your short discription on waterfall, it seems like it’s a gorgeous place. On our way back, we can grab a bite to eat at muffet’s? Her food sounds delightful.” She said with a smile. Pup maybe right. . . maybe going to waterfall might help recover a memory. Maybe even food could help.

Pup smiled and nodded at her. “yeah, sure.” He said as he nodded and he gestures over to the road. “come on, waterfall’s this way. there are fewer monsters this way. at least you don’t have to worry about getting caught or something.” He continued before he starts to lead the way.

Mystery might have been an artist. It would explain the painted rocks that lined her home. She did nod to Pup’s statement about being an artist. “Maybe. . . I haven’t found out anything more from the rocks. It is a clue to what I use to do during my free time.” She said, smiling to the pat to her head. “Friends are important to me, as I try to remember who is who. . .” She nervosuly looks to the side before looking at Pup. Mystery don’t remember going past snowdin, or if she has been in snowdin before. “I don’t think i was able to go past snowdin.” She answers honestly. She goes to look in her notebook about going through and or past snowdin. Mystery didn’t find anything pertaining to going through or past snowdin. Did she not write it down? Did she forget to write it in? Closing the notebook she looks at pup and apologizes. She has not made it past snowdin.

He softly smiled at the other and when she looked away, he gently shakes his head. “hey, it’s okay, kiddo. there’s no wrong in going past yet. i was just about to ask if you want to explore what’s beyond. waterfall is a beautiful place and i just thought that it might help you remember something about yourself.” Pup said. “heck, we can even go to muffet’s if you’re hungry? she serves really good food over there.”

Handmade gifts were even better! “You’re really good at it!” Fluff will cherish this scarf forever. “Wish I had a mirror so I could see how good I look in your gift.” In spite of not having a mirror, he posed anyway, confident that at least Azul and Pup could see how fabulous he most certainly looked.

“Mwehehehe! I’m glad that you like it! It really suits you!!” Azul said as he softly laughed at Fluff posing for the both of them. It makes him happy that the other seems to enjoy his present. “I’ll try to make other clothes for you if you like? Not as good as the one that you have right now but I’ll still try!��

Pup couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement as the small skeleton poses. “m’bro is the best in sewing and making clothes. he made his battle suit and i don’t even remember how many times he fixed this hoodie of mine.” He smiled as he looked over his older brother.

The young skeleton had been wandering around New Home, gathering intel about some group that has been doing crimes such as stealing, threatening, and even one or two cases of killings. It was pretty much a large case for him but it was nothing that he couldn’t handle, of course.

He was a bit surprised when he saw the kitsune around New Home when he just finished talking to one of the monsters. “Oh! Hello Serinaty! I didn’t know that you were around here.” He smiled.

He smiled at her and nodded. “i’m doing good. did you managed to remember more about yourself?” Pup asked as he tilted his head to the side before hesitating a little bit. It’s been a while since he did saw her. “you didn’t have any troubles with other monsters, have you?”

Mystery smiles, she’s glad that pup is doing well! Her smile faltered a little to his question. “I know very little.” She starts. “All i have remembered is that I’m able to paint rocks.” She says. “I have not have had any troubles with others. To be honest. . .it has been a while since I have talked to some. Others I’ve recently connected to.” She adds to Pup’s second question.

Hmm, able to paint rocks huh? “well, at least that gives you some clue that you might have been an artist, right?” Pup said as he pats her head a little bit. “but at least you remembered something. and i’m glad that you are also meeting new people and making friends.” He smiled as his tail swayed behind him. “have you managed to go beyond snowdin town?”

“Yes! Still working on remembering everybody’s names!” She said with a small laugh, “I’m glad I was finally able to move out of the city, the atmosphere of this town is really inviting~”

Thankfully Luma had dealt with all kinds of monsters in the city, big and small, so Pup’s appearance wasn’t intimidating in the least bit to her. She did enjoy the laid-back personality he seemed to hold himself with though, it made it that much more easier to talk with him! But, if they carried on he might not be able to find what he had come for, so Luma took a step back and gestured towards the clothes on display.

“Was there anything in particular you were hoping to find? These are all handmade with Pao fur, so I can guarantee the quality and comfort when you wear them!” Luma clearly took pride in her work, though she didn’t explain what ‘Pao fur’ was exactly, as if expecting he had heard the term before.

“heh, yeah. it’ll take a while but you’ll soon get used to it.” He said, chuckling along as he nodded. He’s never been to New Home before. Well, he’s never explored it fully just yet. Snowdin town is the place that he’s comfortable with aside from Waterfall.

Ahh, yeah. He almost forgot that he was here to buy some clothes. “really?” He asked as he walked closer to the display and feels the cloth with his two phalanges. Wow, she is right, this is quality. It would definitely make a good hoodie.

“ah well, i’m mostly keen on wearing some roomy ones like a jacket and some shorts.” Pup smiled as he looked over at Luma. “any recommendations, maybe?”

“Mwehehehe! Yeah, I did!” Azul grinned as his tail swayed even faster. “It’s sort of a hobby of mine and I was gonna give it to you but gooot a little busy with work duties.” He sheepishly smiled as he rubbed the back of his head.

Mystery turned to face him when he spoke. She was reading some pages from her notebook. “Hello! It has been a while!” She says. Hearing the question, she shows him the notebook. “Of course! I don’t go anywhere without it.” She smiles. “How are you doing today?” She asks, pulling a small strand of her hair back behind her ear.

He smiled at her and nodded. “i’m doing good. did you managed to remember more about yourself?” Pup asked as he tilted his head to the side before hesitating a little bit. It’s been a while since he did saw her. “you didn’t have any troubles with other monsters, have you?”

“Oh, pardon me then. I used to have to say ‘sir’ and ‘mam’ to my customers in New Home, but monsters here prefer to be more casual.” The bat shopkeeper said in apology when she noticed ‘Pup’ grow tense, though she was quick to smile once more as she continued on. “Which is nice, it makes things feel very homey, even when I’m working.”

The mention of Muffet seemed to perk her up as her grin grew wider, clasping her hands together as she came to the tall Pup’s side. “If you’re looking for new clothes, than you’ve come to the right place! I make everything from sweaters to socks, and in all different sizes and shapes too! The area with outfits that will fit you most comfortably is over here.”

With the shops smaller size, the shopkeeper was able to guide Pup easily to a section with larger-fitted clothing, all different colors and styles being strewn about and organized into tops, bottoms, and accessories. Once they reached the ideal spot for Pup to start looking, the fluffy bat peered up to him with a genuinely cheery expression as she spoke.

“Muffet has been such a great help since I’ve moved here, she’s as sweet as the pastries she bakes. You can call me Luma, it’s a pleasure to meet you Pup.”  

He softly smiled at the other and gently shakes his head. “no need to apologize, it’s all good.” He smiled as he puts his hands in the pocket of his hoodie. “but yeah, people here in snowdin are really friendly.”

Pup looked over at her as she went to his side and he followed after her. Curiously looking over at the clothes that the section has on display. Well, its definitely is his size, which he didn’t really think that he would see someday.

When Luma introduced herself, he looked over at the bat monster and smiled. “it is quite nice to meet you as well, luma. i’m guessing that you’re new to the town?” He asked as he tilted his head.

At first when Pup entered the shop seemed quite empty, despite the vibrant assortment of sweaters and other articles of clothing that were on display. Before long though a monster does appear behind the counter space, a furry bat-like monster with large ears and kindly big eyes. In her arms was a bundle of various clothes, though the monster was quick to pause when she noticed there was a customer in her shop!

A rather tall, boney one too, she’d never seen this monster before. But, she wasn’t all too social in the Snowdin area, so seeing someone she didn’t recognize wasn’t too much of a surprise.

A cheery smile appears on the bat’s face as she places the pile of cloth on the counter, easily chirping a greeting to the skeletal newcomer. “Welcome! You have great timing, I’ve just finished dying my materials for the day. How can I help you, sir?”

Pup was interested in the clothes that were on display. He’s never been in a store like this one. Most of his clothes are from Azul or Muffet. His brother must have bought him clothes from New Home back then. At the greeting, he turned his attention towards the fluffy bat monster. He stiffened a little when he was called ‘sir’. Oh stars, he’s not used to being called ‘sir’ at all. He’s pretty sure he’s not even that old to be called like that... right???

“oh hi. please, no need for ‘sirs’ and stuff. call me pup.” He smiled as he rubbed the back of his skull. “muffet, the spider monster that runs the cafe near here, told me to check this place out for new clothes and stuff.” He continued, chuckling a little bit.

Azul wasn’t too sure why this human suddenly walked up to him. His... shirt kinda looks like prince Asriel’s but then all monster children wear striped shirts and is similar in a way.

Pup wasn’t really expecting to enter a shop like this around Snowdin but apparently Muffet suggested him to go into this one since his hoodie is getting kinda old and he needs new clothes. Ever the motherly friend that monster is.
