So, the Taylor Swift fans figured this out. Youtube's total video number showed on a channel includes private & unlisted videos. If a video's total number of uploads goes up by 1 but no video appears, it's because a video has been uploaded that's private or unlisted. The MCR channel's total was 162 for ages and ages, and it went up to 163 a couple of days ago, that 1 new video being the trailer. It was 163 on the 12th, and I know this because I had a conversation with @a-star-that-fell specifically about the fact that it had been 163 for a while because that indicated the trailer had been sitting and waiting for a while.

This morning it's 164.
