Married and a year in, life has never been hectic like this. Adulting is super fun if there’s someone to rely on. I’m loving this phase in life where i come home to someone waiting for me!

A lot of things are not going the way I want. I haven’t travelled anywhere properly last one year. But we dis go to Coldplay and Ed Sheeran concerts which are a big deal to us.

My mom is getting her knee surgery done after a long time of convincing her to live a painless life. Why do our parents never listen to us? But things that I have been wanting to fix are getting fixed at an extremely slow pace but I’m just glad it’s happening.

I’m forgetting to update my life developments right on August 1st but I don’t wait a second when i realise I had forgotten it.

I just had a huge breakdown in front of my family. I have joined B-school this year and the assignments and other works I'm given are so much that I'm constantly having self-doubt. I'm scared whether I have chosen the wrong course. I don't know whether I'm competitive enough to run with my fellow classmates. Adding to this is the pandemic. Everything is online now. So when suddenly my laptop collapsed, I lost my senses. And now I'm guilty that I'm worrying my family as well.

I don't know how I'm gonna spend two more years like this.

It's really amazing how the HPV vaccine ever got to be developed. It's this sexually transmitted virus that primarily impacts women through causing cervical cancer. Yes, it can impact men and cause other cancer types as well, but this is less common, and not the focus of HPV prevention. And a vaccine is made that cuts the cervical cancer rate dramatically. And not just one vaccine is made, but new and improved forms come out later to protect against more strains. And all this time, the primary goal is to prevent a health problem that only impacts women. For a while, the vaccine was only recommended to girls, and even when it eventually became recommended to boys as well (in some areas, I think in some places it's still just girls), it is framed as a way to stop boys from becoming carriers. It's framed as a way to stop them from passing the virus on to women, not even to protect them from throat cancer or some other cancer. So it's just amazing to me that this vaccine exists, and the amazing things it has done for women, and the fact that it was even able to get funding to be developed in the first place. <3 hpv prevention

i wish people would stop romanticizing not eating breakfast and not getting enough sleep and being dependent on coffee to function and always being in a bad mood and treating yourself poorly because that behavior is very unhealthy for you

ideal living situation is what i call the 'sitcom special' : having all your closest friends live in the same apartment building or neighborhood where you each have your own space but can wander in and out of eachothers homes at will, seemingly always welcome and never at bad times. and also all of you only have jobs when its important to the plot.

fuuuuck i just realized that the future idealized version of myself cant exist without current me being the catalyst for change and doing hard things. has anybody heard about this

they should invent an apartment that has huge windows but is never too hot and is near everything i like and all my friends but is also quiet when i want it to be and costs zero dollars or perhaps they pay me to live in. and they save it just for me so i dont have to look for it :)
