I just realized Mama Kageyama was probably extra pissed in episode 1 when Mob accidentally bent his spoon because, of all the cutlery they own, it had to be the spoon.

Like it was probably one of the last four fucking spoons they have left not hoarded in Ritsu’s room/bag/pocket/waistband and she’s just watching it bend to fuck like Great. Grand. Last frigging spoon time for my weekly trip to Bed Bath and Beyond for another fucking set of spoons. “Oh more wedding gifts?” cashier's gonna ask. Nope just seems my sons fucking eat spoons.

The household eventually switches to plastic spoons and Ritsu goes into withdrawal.
