I really wonder how much Tom's BND deal is. Did he get a RDJ type deal? I feel he has to be getting an EP credit. Did he secure a first gross deal, or increase his backend bonus? What's his salary rate, it's gotta be close to $20M at this point.

No doubt BND will break a billion easy. And Tom had all the negotiation power going in. I'd kill to see his contract. Wonder of Variety will break his salary news sometimes soon.

It was super sweet, and Tom is forever memorialized as a family member in the large group family photo they took. I thought the whole thing was very sweet and a great way to celebrate the life of a loved one. Everyone was having a great time and Tom got to meet more of "his" family.

Looking back and with a few months now since then, the attitude of some of the people at Zendaya’s grandma’s repast was really uncool.

How so? Do you mean them filming and posting or something that was said?

It seemed like a nice celebration of life, a party, not a mourning. And a family reunion. Obviously there was a lot of extended family of Zs there, people who she likely has never met or only seen a handful of times probably as a child and they were all starstruck to see Tom. I don't think Tom went in thinking he would be filmed and posted on social media like that. I think he probably thought it was going to be funeral vibes the whole time. But I also think TZ have just come to realize this is a part of their life and they can't control other people's actions.

I didn't find anyone's behavior to be out of line. They were just starstruck to see "Spiderman" there.

I'd truly well and good keel over if Tom showed up to Darnell's party. I've come to realize that boy is averse to any group gathering where music, fun, dancing and potential filming are involved.

Tom was 19 not 18 when he was cast as Spiderman - he’d just turned 19 a few weeks before it was announced. He did all his auditions at 18 though. Z was also 19 when her casting was announced but we don’t know when she started auditioning so she may have been 18 when they met but Tom was 19 for sure.

And he was 21 when Hoco came out :)

This is such a weird cornerstone of this fandom that so many get hung up on. TZs ages when they met is so inconsequential. I don't even think TZ can remember the exact ages they met at this point. Anytime they discuss that period, they vacillate between being 18 and 19 years old. Partly because they are only three months apart, so one might have been just 19, while the other on the precipice of 19. Two because in TZs minds, they were still just teenagers and 18 sounds a tad bit more romantic than meeting at 19, also they like the fact that they were both the same age. Three, they honestly can't remember their exact ages because it all happened so close to their birthday, they just haven't sat down to look at a calendar to determine the exact date they were cast and what age they were.

To TZ it's obvious neither of them care that much how old they were because the end result is all the same. Whether they were 18 or 19, they found their person and the rest is history.

I still think TZ would do best to have a really small intimate wedding with just immediate family members only in a random location. Maybe not exactly an elopement, but something close.

I know they both have large families and with them being on two seperate continents, the logistics will be really difficult, but if paparazzi or fans get even a whiff or hint of their wedding day, it'll be absolute pandemonium. They're just way too famous now.

As much as I, as a fan, would eat any wedding content up, as an empathetic human, I would feel absolutely terrible if their wedding day was ruined like that by drones, helicopters and swarming paps taking unauthorized pics.

I hope they have the wedding they both want and it's peaceful, private, and filled with love and most importantly, on their own terms.

I feel bad for Tom if he was wanting to hire Benson to sing at their wedding and it was meant to be a surprise and now everyone knows. For as famous as Tom is, sometimes he's a little clueless when it comes to how stealthy the paparazzi and fans can be. He probably thought because they were meeting at the SoHo House they wouldn't be spotted, but Tom went through the front door instead of the back which turned what should have been an innocuous meet up into tabloid fodder.

Poor Tom. He tries so hard. I just hope if he was trying to court Benson for the wedding, it wasn't meant to be a surprise for Zendaya, cause she knows now.

Hopefully it really was just two friends meeting for lunch with no business transaction happening.

Nope. It seems after the engagement, they both decided no more social media unless it's work related. I don't think we'll ever get another personal post from them again unless it's promoting a movie they are both in.

Tom was cast as SM at 18 and filmed NWH at 19, it was released when he was 20. Him and Z are only 3 months apart, so I think Tom had just turned 19 when Z auditioned and was cast and she was still 18, I'm not sure of the exact month of her audition, though. They both say they were 18 when they met, so I think that's their truth.
