This Doll Must Be Plugged In At Home

I saw this art trend on Blue Sky and after reblogging a bajillion, I just had to make one for myself. You do not understand how much I like drawing product packing, or seeing other people draw product packaging. There's just something delightfully crisp about tiny little objects sorted into neat boxes.

Last Attack of Art Fight 2024! I submitted this with 25 minutes left till the event closed; it was harrowing.

This is the result of a last-minute "OCs with the same name" form I did; I'm very grateful to everyone in the discord that submitted their OCs with such a short turn-around time. u-u I've done a little touch up (glow effects, Rim's jaw) now that I'm not on deadline.

OCs are: Opal (FoxShadeZ on AF) & Oriurim Opal (mine); Nova (mine) & Nova (AstroShark85 on AF); Viktor ("@maybeinthefuture) & Victor (mine); Alice, Essence of Sky Blue (mine) & Blue (sombercantilusnet on AF); Aislynn (also FoxShaeZ) & Aisling (mine).

Rubin & Stitches for Raccoon_Guy on Art Fight! This is one of my favorite Attacks from this year, if not my favorite. I took inspiration from their references on where to place colored line art/how to do the wood texture & I think it turned out neat.

AF 2024 Attack Batch #??? I forgot to keep count, honestly. This one is mostly Revenges, if I remember right. I managed to end this year with only 4 carry-over Revenges total, so that's good; fingers crossed I can end next year fully caught up. OCs are kneebwin's Macaron (otter), Fluminox412's Maria (girl w/ Kirlia), @o0dsf0o (gray), @ivystorm1's Fen (purple creature) & Viper (yellow sweater), @dismandoesart20's Sophie (red eyes), & SimplySyrup's Baal (heart glasses).

Scrub for @levymcgarden55. They have such a delightful shape & colorful design. u-u Figuring out how to get the same sparkly water filled slime effects in the digital references with traditional techniques was fun. Now I want some apple slices too...

Cae for @savjieii. This bad boy can fit so many little details; it was a delight. Loved layering all the doodles on the leg.

Still fighting the Art Fight backlog. Was going to hold them in queue, but I think I'll just drop them all now.

Nozomi for AeolianDawn. I really wanted to try drawing a jellyfish mermaid using proper references (I went with a cool picture of a helvola sea nettle). Very fun to work with; Nozomi has a lot of little details that make her design standout.

Art Fight Attack round-up! Tried to knock out some simpler pieces (compared to the full body full scene standard I pointlessly hold myself to). First is Alan for EchoTheRatKing (twitter/AF), second is Chime for @vanilla-chailatte. The next three are art traditional drawn & colored art of Rini for Polkadot_Rat, Veil for Fire_Fly17, and Top Hat Sam for @moonio-art. The scanner did a fair job with the colors, but I don't know why the paper turned gray...

Attack Four of Art Fight 2024. I bullied my sisters @wokefromdreaming and @maybeinthefuture into finishing their designs for our Tokyo Mew Mew team so I could draw them this year. u-u This one is Mew Mew Kindergarten themed. These ones are for the Monochrome Color Team, so idol-style stage costumes for all OCs with a monochrome image color (black, gray, or white). Their team theme is Starlight, drawing inspo. from Loona's Star MV (the black costumes in the second half); there's lots of glitter and gauzy fabrics.

Does anyone else really love the original American Girl Doll book covers? I didn't finish the set, but I created a some covers for my character Heather; I tweaked moments from her story to match the official guidelines for AG books. It was fun to work with the little scene details.

These are some quick ball-jointed doll bases I whipped up for some splash art on my Art Fight profile. Here we've got line-ups for this years featured Shuffle Units: Periwinkles & Pinkies. And they're height accurate! Though I think there's something wrong with how I scaled them. Close enough?
