  Jessica Simpson is joined by hubby Eric Johnson as she hosts a style event at Dillard’s on Saturday afternoon (April 7) at the The Mall of Green Hills in Nashville, Tenn.

The 37-year-old singer and designer hosted army wives and daughters from Fort Campbell in honor of April’s Month of the Military Child.

During the event, Jessica styled the ladies and gave them clothes, accessories, and shoes from her latest fashion collection.

  Jessica Simpson will be at Dillard’s at the Mall at Green Hills Saturday, April 7 from 12 – 3 p.m. for a special spring shopping event.

2018 Outstanding Mother Awards’ Honorees Revealed

  Chelsea Clinton, Jessica Simpson, Jan Singer and Artemis Patrick will be honored May 11.

MOTHER’S DAY HONOREES: Chelsea Clinton, vice chair of the Clinton Foundation; Artemis Patrick, chief merchandising officer, Sephora; Jessica Simpson, entertainer, founder and chief executive officer of Jessica Simpson Collection, and Jan Singer, ceo of Victoria’s Secret Lingerie, will be honored at the 40th Annual Outstanding Mother Awards.

    The annual luncheon ceremony will be held Friday, May 11 at 12 p.m. at The Pierre Hotel in New York.

Joanna Coles, chief content officer of Hearst Magazines and a 2015 Outstanding Mother Award Honoree, will serve as mistress of ceremonies for the event.

Laurie Dowley, chairwoman of the National Mother’s Day Committee, said, “In a time [when] it feels especially important to recognize the accomplishments and strength of women working both in and outside the home, these women help to inspire others and epitomize everything this award represents.”

Proceeds of the 2018 awards luncheon will benefit Save the Children’s U.S. Programs, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making lasting positive change in the lives of children living in poverty in the U.S.

Ace Shows Off His First Haircut: ‘All Grown Up’

  Ace Knute just got his first cut!

The younger child of Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson looks all 4 years of his age in a sweet photo Simpson, 37, shared to Instagram Wednesday.

Ace’s signature shoulder-length blond locks have been sheared to reveal a shorter, yet still adorably shaggy cut as the little guy wades in the water in front of a stunning mountainous landscape.

“First haircut ✔️ (Thanks @jessieholiday for making my stud look all grown up 😢) #ACEKNUTE,” the proud mama captioned the memory.

    It’s been an emotional milestone-laden time for the mom of two. Last week, she shared a photo of 5-year-old daughter Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, decked out in her first-day-of school best and striking a precious pose for the camera.

“KINDERGARTEN 📚😢 #MAXIDREW,” Simpson wrote alongside the snap of her mini-me.

MaxiDrew's First Day Of Big-Kid School

Summer is almost over, and for kids, that means it’s time to head back to school — or in the case of Jessica Simpson’s little girl, Maxwell Drew, it’s time to start her very first day of big-kid school!

The 5-year-old kicked off kindergarten this week, and mom captured the moment in a sweet photo.

MaxiDrew, as Simpson calls her, sported a red-and-black plaid jumper dress with a matching headband as she struck a model-worthy pose for the pic.

With a hand on one hip, she shot the camera an over-the-shoulder glance and a big smile. It was a familiar smile, too.

The school girl is an absolute mini-me for her mother — right down to their look-alike blond locks.

  A lot has changed for Jessica Simpson since her days spent musing about the true meaning behind the phrase “Chicken of the Sea” and advertising satellite television providers while clad simply in her Daisy Dukes. While those denim hot pants haven’t gone anywhere, the pop star has now transformed herself into a full blown fashion mogul, building up an eponymous billion dollar empire. But just because she’s now a high-flying style entrepreneur doesn’t mean she doesn’t still have super relatable, every day problems just like the rest of us. A fact she proved in the latest shot she shared on Instagram showing off her hairy legs.

As any mother with two young children running around the house can attest, there’s not a whole lot of time left over at the end of the day to pay attention to yourself and your needs. A fact that only becomes even more salient for a matriarch with an ever-expanding fashion line and a comeback album in the works in addition to her two kids under the age of six. So understandably, Jessica doesn’t exactly have time to pay attention to all the details and make sure that everything is done flawlessly the first time around, as her only partially shaved legs clearly demonstrate.

  The singer shared a close up shot of her calf on Instagram on Sunday with light pouring in from the windows in front of her, making the long, rogue hairs on her legs really show up in contrast. Jessica cheekily captioned the shot, “Missed a spot…” poking fun at the fact that despite clearly having just shaved her legs, in her haste a tragedy befell her that every woman who has ever shaved her legs is all to familiar with, missing a wide swatch of some very long strands. Thankfully, as many of her fans pointed out, Jessica was blessed with platinum blonde leg hair so even if she accidentally missed half her thigh the chances of someone mistaking her for the second coming of Teen Wolf are still very unlikely.
