With all the nonsense going on these days with taekookers claiming that Jk was forced to do the travel show and also forced to enlist with Jimin, i couldn’t help but imagine what nasty narratives would have been thrown around if the things that happened with taekook in chapter two happened with Jikook instead.
First of all can you imagine how taekookers would have laughed at jkkrs if Jimin was the one coming back from France a day before Jk’s birthday and then jkkrs getting excited and talking about how Jimin only came back before Jk’s birthday so he could be with him on the day only for Jk to confirm TWICE that even though Jimin was back in town, he didn’t see him on his birthday. This is something they would have held over our heads forever.
Can you imagine the nasty things they would have said if it was Jk attended a musical with Jimin only to go back home later, start a Live and fall asleep on Live. They would have asked us why Jk didn’t stay together with Jimin after the hangout if they were a couple and mocked us about it.
Can you imagine the hell that would have broken loose if Jk attended that premiere with Jimin, had drinks after and then went back home looking so depressed and sad af, starting a Live where he refused to read comments and spoke about the premiere but didn’t mention who he was there with? Do you know what they would have said? First of all they would have called it another company event because they were Hybes car, drivers and security that took them to and brought them back from the premiere. They would have laughed at us if we called it a private outing while claiming that a couple wouldn’t drag their 5565789652 friends along on every date they go on. They would have also said that Jk was forced to go and the fact that he didn’t even stay after the drinks and returned to his house looking sad as hell would have been all the proof they needed. They would have claimed that Jk went Live so that everyone could see that he wasn’t spending the night with Jimin so that people don’t get the wrong idea. They would have thrown tantrums and trended tags warning bighit to stop forcing Jungkook to hang with Jimin to feed shippers. This is exactly what would have happened it it was Jimin in Tae’s place.
Everything would have gotten much worse after the almost 2 hour long Live Jk did. If he did that for Taehyung, while everyone knew he was hanging out with Jimin, they would have said the company was keeping him away from Tae while forcing him to hang with Jimin and their proof for this would have been all the times Jk went Live looking depressed, sad, drinking on Live and constantly talking about Taehyung. They would have said that Jk watched Taehyung so much despite hanging out alot with Jimin because Tae was who he really wanted to be with but the company wasn’t letting him and that is why he was drinking so much, defying the company by doing late night drunken Lives and even falling asleep on Live. All of them would have felt so sorry for him and cursed Jimin and the company.
Just close your eyes for one minute and try to imagine what tkkrs would have said and done if Jk mentioned that Jimin left him alone at a Ski resort and went back home with friends. They would have first said that this was decisive proof that Jikook isn’t real. They would have also called Jimin a terrible person for leaving Jk all alone at a Ski resort and they would have said that, that was proof that Jimin’s love towards Jk is fake and just for the cameras because behind the cameras he could abandon Jk all alone at a Ski resort.
I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if it was Jimin who went to Jk’s house and started a WeLive without asking Jk if it was ok to do that. Things would have gotten worse when Jk clearly asked if he had started a Live and showed some signs of disapproval. They would have called Jimin a leech, attention seeker and said he started a Live for 2 minutes just to feed his cult shippers at the expense of Jk. The worse would have been after Jk went Live after he left to explain that he sent a text to the gc asking if anyone wanted to come and then Jimin showed up. They would have said Jk didn’t even personally ask him to come over but Jimin went because he had evil plans to leech on Jk and feed his shippers. This would have been more than enough to proof that Jimin was evil.
Just imagine the names Jimin would have been called if he was the one who asked Jk to do a joint instagram Live which Jk was clearly reluctant to do and then later agreed to do when he said he would take care of things. They would have said that Jimin doesn’t respect Jk and uses his hyung card to get Jk to do things he clearly doesn’t want to do. Everything would have escalated to the worst when Jk proceeded to delete his instagram shortly after that Live. These people wouldn’t have claimed then that the company made him do it to punish him like they are saying now. They would have said that Jk himself decided to delete it so that Jimin wouldn’t be able to ask for another instagram Live ever again and that, that was proof that Jk hated doing the Live with Jimin. They would have sent trucks to Hybe to ask Jimin to leave Jk alone.
I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened if Jimin went on his promotional shows for his album and then mentioned recording at Jk’s place and then Jk coming back later to explain that Jimin was the one who “suddenly” called and asked to record at his place and also asked for directions. First of all, they would have said that Jimin was untalented and couldn’t do anything on his own without leeching on Jk. They would have proceeded to accuse Jimin of trying to use Jk for clout by constantly mentioning Jk ( some jikookers say this abt tae btw) and again that would have been more than enough proof that Jimin is the biggest leech and attention seeker. Just to know that i am spot on, just look at the things they are all saying abour the travel show. They are claiming that Jk was forced to do it and that he was ambushed even though Jk has never said or even implied that he was.
Imagine if it was Jimin who was seen walking hand in hand with his girlfriend and then went ahead to talk about him asking Jk to cook for him. What do you think they would have said?
Imagine if it was taekook who filmed a travel show together. We wouldn’t have been hearing everything we are hearing now. Instead we would have been hearing about how much taekook love each other that they decided to take trips together and leave memories.
Imagine if it was Jimin who took pictures on a bed shirtless with his friends on top of him. Lord knows tkkrs would have called Jimin all the derogatory names in the book and said that Jk would never be with someone like him because Jk doesn’t even like someone else peeling perilla leaves for his significant other then what more of his significant other laying in bed shirtless with a bunch of men all over him.
Imagine if it was taekook who enlisted together. I can promise you that this narrative about lover not being allowed to enlist together would have never been a thing because then it would have been how Taekook love each other so damn much that they couldn’t bear to be apart from each other even if it meant taking risks to be together. To them, it would have meant that Taekook are so brave and their love for each other is greater than anything else.
Can you imagine what would have happened if that “awkward” hug on Jin’s discharge was jikook? That would have been proof that Jk hated Jimin’s guts and couldn’t stand being around him.
I look at all the things they say and all the ways they try to make it seem like Jk hates Jimin and only does stuff with or for him under duress and i wonder, oh i wonder the deep shit Jimin would have been in he was switched with Taehyung.
I know that there is a good amount of toxic jokers in this fandom too and they can be incredibly hateful and vile towards Tae but i have to say i am grateful that most jkkrs seem to have some sense as they don’t stoop this low to make such senseless claims. And it is worth noting that while there are some tkkrs who aren’t vile or hateful towards Jimin, there isn’t a single taekooker who doesn’t invalidate jikook’s bond or who doesn’t in one way or the other share in their demeaning narratives of him.
Trying to find a taekooker who genuinely loves their ship but doesn’t invalidate jikook’s bond or shares in those ridiculous conspiracy theories about the company and Jimin, is like looking for a very small needle in a huge haystack. It is IMPOSSIBLE!
