I've been thinking about KCD a lot but thus far I don't really have a lot of motivation to engage with the fandom. Which is honestly kinda nice? I don't have many things I enjoy just for me/without an intense longing for the community aspect. The latter tends to come back and bite me quite often so it's nice to have a little thing that just lives in my head and manifests itself in short fic snippets and scenes that I write for fun ❤️

I find myself less drawn to modern AUs and more to the idea of taking the cast and dropping them in a different historical setting. KCD but Western, KCD but Regency. KCD but Victorian. KCD but prohibition era gangsters. The possibilities are endless
