Oh fuck me this is amazing

i’ve been wanting to make like. a fake tv show opening for malevolent for ages so i decided to start a project and use it to try and learn some animation basics. i love this song, it’s so dreamlike and reminds so much of the show (especially faroe’s music box) <3 here’s a rough animatic!

this is probably going to take absolutely ages to finish haha. im working on what will hopefully be a more detailed and polished version, and i’m trying to teach myself how to animate so when i do it for this project it’ll look decent and not completely out of place.

First stab at a Proper Animatic™! Is it any good? Who knows! The point is I FINISHED IT. Anyway, Kayne is my favorite Malevolent guy, love how expressive he sounds, and I wanted to draw some faces. Then, because I entirely lack restraint, I failed at narrowing down which section to try to animatic at. So I threw up my hands and committed to attacking the entire scene. All 5+ minutes of it.
