Some of the new content from the Tales of Exandria Art Book

Note that this is by no means an exhaustive list of all of the new information contained in the Art book (and not all of it new, some was mentioned on Talks Machina a little), but here is some tidbits:

Slydor did not know about the twin’s existence until they were ten, when an elven traveler visited the town and noticed the resemblance and word got to Slydor.

The twins stuck around Syngorn for 3 years, so they were 13/14 when they ran away.

Vex believes that Slydor demanded that the twins be brought to him, while Vax believes that Elaina wished for the twins to live in Syngorn and learn of their elven heritage.

After running away from Whitestone, the boat that rescued Percy was called the Cold Comfort.  He stuck around for about a year and didn’t talk much at the time.

Keyleth departed Zephrah the dawn of her twentieth birthday to begin her Aremente, almost 18 years after her mother left.

Korrin assigned Keyleth some retainers to keep her protected and to escort her to all of her destinations, to be reached within five years.  Keyleth saw that that wasn’t going to work and sent them back.  This was when Korrin thought she might have the heart of a leader after all.

Tiberius passed the Sorcerer’s Rite at 15, and granted membership to the Guild of Anarchists at 20 - though the record of these accomplishments was destroyed in the fall of Draconia.

Tiberius desired to travel and find lost artifacts to bring his family honor, but the Guild did not want their star apprentice running around after myths and wouldn’t allow him to.  So Tibs went behind their back and volunteered to be an ambassador.  He was granted this honor before the guild could object.  Nearly a year later, he was hella broke.  And then he met Vox Machina.

When Wilhand recived a vision from the Everlight and he decided to leave the Trickfoot family, Pike begged to go with him. Her mom said, “Take her. She doesn’t fit in with this family anyway.” and so he took Pike with him.

The first thing Grog did when Pike healed him after being abandoned was pick her up and hug her in thanks.
