love story (taylor’s version) sounds enough like the original to make me feel like a kid again and remember all the rough times it got me through, but also sounds so much more mature and filled with life to remind me of what this rerecording means to taylor and how we’ve grown up together, and the combination of the two just has me crying ugly tears 😭

Maybe Taylor chose fearless to be the first of the re-recordings to be released because it sets the perfect tone for what she’s doing. Because it has to be absolutely terrifying to take on something as massive as artists rights to own their music and knowing it will completely change the music industry. But that’s the thing... it’s not about being unafraid or having no doubts. It’s about living in spite of those things that scare you to death. It’s about being fearless 🥺
