Okay but the most forgotten Taylor Swift moment is during Blank Space when she tries to indicate her characters insanity through giving up on the axe and using her fists to pummel a tree. WHY TAYLOR WHY. Sheer madness.

you say you’re ugly, but you’ve never seen yourself when your favourite song comes on the radio and you smile wide. you’ve never seen yourself laugh while you read, or cry about a sad movie, or sigh softly when you lay down after a long day. you’ve never seen the way your eyes sparkle in the summer, or the way you close your eyes and smile slightly when you drink cocoa on a winter evening. you’ve never seen yourself open an incredible gift, or burst into laughter.
you say you’re ugly, but you’ve only ever seen yourself through a mirror and a camera lens, poised and reflected. you’ve never seen the pure beauty that radiates from you every day in everything you do.
be kinder to yourself, you’re a gorgeous soul.

I love when taylor has some career achievement or breaks a record and it's like "this hasn't happened since taylor swift last did it"

Seven and August are sister songs and I’m so glad they’re next to each other on the album.

!!! Exactly. Imposing subjective rules just limits expression to a set formula. Which is pretty annoying because it’s meant to be a fucking art form. Use your ears and do your job before you preach about your preferences.
reviewers that complain about albums being too long are weak as fuck… that is such a subjective criticism and shouldn’t impact the score you give an album. all of the reviews added today that were in the 70s were just like “oh just like lover, the album is too long” like bitch what are you gonna do if you make 17 excellent songs?? not include them for fear of it being too long so the songs never get the life they deserve? especially if all the songs tell a story and feel cohesive and like they belong together
