I fear I should probably explain some of the pulse lore before I start incessantly posting art from it. Just the basic stuff of course

The name "Pulse" comes from the magic of the world. Everyone has the potential for having a Pulse but it needs to be unlocked before it can be used

A Pulse is a type of magic that adds a temporary strength booster to someone at will. The way it works is very video game. As in its stolen from several video game aesthetics

Pulse color is unique to each user and perhaps dependent on personality + life circumstances? Idk it changes sometimes in a symbolic way -- which is why I sometimes mark down Patches as having two different Pulse colors

In-universe Pulses are very esoteric and not well understood. Some ways of unlocking are uhhh kinder than others

Which brings us to characters

Omen's deal is that he's been trying to get a Pulse for decades and it hasn't worked, and he's become obsessive over it to the point of ruining the lives of everyone around him

This is why everyone around him has a Pulse, including Patches. He needs to endlessly recruit new people in order to understand Pulses more

Why do some characters connected to Omen not have Pulses then? because they're pookie, next question
