on-floor concealing methods
first and foremost, always conceal in a blindspot! if there aren’t any natural ones, duck down to create one or, if you’re with a lifting buddy, have them stand between you and the camera.
♥ clothing rack
pick up an item and walk over to a clothing rack. go to a clothing rack and, with the same hand as the item, pretend to look through the clothes. as your hand is deep in the rack, either sleeve the item or drop it into your purse. this is a great, natural way to create a blindspot.
♥ double and sleeve
this is the most basic sleight-of-hand and is something every lifter needs to have in their tool belt. this works for long and small items, like lipgloss or mascara. grab two of the same item, hold them as if they’re one, and slide one into your sleeve. you can do this while swinging your arm to propel the item into your sleeve, or just put it subtly in with your fingers.
♥ drop
this works for bigger items. wedge several items between your elbow and ribs. “accidentally” drop one of them from your elbow into your bag as if you had too many items and one of them just fell into your bag accidentally.
♥ lightning conceal
this one is literally just putting something into your purse as quickly as possible. ONLY do this in a blindspot as it’s very obvious the intent is to steal the item.
♥ starbucks cup
get an opaque coffee cup, cut an X into the bottom, and shove little items (concealer, lip gloss, mascara etc) into it. if you do it properly they shouldn’t fall you. you can also pad the cup.
♥ food bag
get a bag of food from the mall food court. eat some and leave some food in there. drop items into your bag. if you get sussed, you can eat food out of the bag. an alternative of this is to put a hole in the side of the bag and put items through the hole rather than just through the top of the bag.
♥ armpit
tuck something under your armpit and either walk out with it there or walk to a blindspot and lightning conceal.
♥ long skirt
wear tight spandex and, when squatting in front of a low shelf at sephora or ulta, push your skirt up slightly and slide a small item into it. pallettes may fit in the waistband. make sure you practice this at home to make sure they’re tight enough and nothing will fall out.
♥ phone
hold something small between your hand and your phone and then put your phone and item back into your purse like you’re only holding your phone.

Baby’s second scam✨🌦
I found a receipt on the ground (made sure they paid cash), lifted what was from it and returned it. It was an outdoor shopping area with no cameras. $40 secured🌟

The “ya girl had a bad day but her magnet and hook came in the mail” haul. Seriously, this magnet is the best thing on the planet. I sewed it into one of those pompoms that hang off of your purse and it works like a charm. The extra fabric muffles the noise entirely too ❤️ where has this been my whole life??

So here’s the deal y'all
Some days I can clean out Sephora in under 5 minutes without any problem and the SAs thank me for coming in while I walk out with hundreds of dollars worth of product
Other days I get some SA who decides to stalk me even when I don’t act sus and they’ll be up on me like a police officer on a donut and I can’t even snag a lipstick
And that’s okay. Even the best lifters have off days. Don’t push yourself in dangerous situations. Listen to your gut and stay safe!

walkouts 👀
i touched on some of this stuff in GC but figured id make a post!
sometimes i do walkouts with just reusable bags, sometimes with a cart - either way, you'll want to bring reusable bags, because it's much less sus to walk out with a cart of bagged stuff than a bunch of loose items in a cart lol
fav stores:
-w@lmart. usually 2 exits, greeters cant stop you and dont care anyway. cams arent monitored. there ARE occasionally plainclothes LP but they watch for concealing, not walkouts
-superstore. exits are harder but better groceries. no greeters/typically no SA's by entrance.
-whole foods. variety of exit situations but not very attentive SA's.
bring:
-reusable bags
-a long receipt, preferably from that store
-phone
remember to:
-walk in with your first reusable bag open on your arm, or open in your cart. if carrying them, get light stuff first. trust me. lol
-compare products. look at prices. obvs when im lifting idgaf what something costs but i still always pretend to consider and compare because seeing someone just toss something in their bag without even seeing what it costs is sus
-check for tags on electronics/makeup. you still need to detag just like when you're concealing! higher stakes here - you dont want them asking for a receipt! typically i dont walk out with anything that's usually tagged, but if i do, i detag in furniture/hardware/other no-cam aisles
-get groceries first, makeup/etc last. putting makeup in an empty bag? sus. putting makeup in a bag full of lettuce? just some stuff you're picking up with your weekly groceries
-make sure you know how the checkouts and exits are arranged and plan accordingly. in one store i frequent (a w@lmart), there are exits on either side of a long row of cashiers - so i push my cart on the "already paid for" side of the row from one exit side to exit on the opposite side. looks like i just came from one of the 15 previous checkouts instead of from within the store. in the other i go to, the exit is blocked by checkouts, so i go out the entrance when it's busy. if there are SA's nearby, ill pause beside the checkouts and pretend ive lost something, search my bags, then "find" the thing and walk out the entrance so it seems like that's why i was back on that side of the checkouts.
-CARRY YOUR RECEIPT WHILE EXITING. if it's from a diff store, fold it so the top logo portion isn't visible. make it obvious you're holding it. look it over as you walk out as if checking a price.
the easiest way to get out without being talked to AT ALL is to fake a phone call. i do this almost every time because i have anxiety and get worried about looking sus, and getting into the act completely dispels that.
"pick up" the phone cheerily - "hey, whats up?" then look annoyed as the person on the other end "talks" - get into an "argument" with them as you walk out (holding your receipt, remember. sometimes i wave it around like i do with what whatever im holding when im actually on the phone lol). usually ill make the argument about where i am/what i bought/etc. "i told you i would be there at THREE. im just getting groceries" (pause) "okay, well i just finished, let me get the shit in the car and ill be there in ten minutes" remember to pause between anything you say. sometimes i even stop and start a sentence as if they're interrupting me.
do not talk too loudly. the "argument" part is not to draw any attention to yourself - it's just to dissuade anyone who is ALREADY paying attention to you from approaching you.
i typically wait until i get to my car to "hang up," then load groceries and fuck off ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the phone thing is just what i personally do and of course you're free to use whatever exit method you're comfortable with! it's just always worked very well for me - sometimes greeters will start to approach me then see im in an argument and we'll just nod at each other as i wave my receipt.
anything else yall need to know hmu!
or if anyone has anything to add feel free :}

"ill be back for her (the clarisonic, not to beat the bitch who susd me)" sksjsjsksj

0ld navî really thought the could outsmart me. I did not come to play with these hoes when I came in today. I knew what I wanted and I knew I’d get it. And i was quick, like a puma.
I picked up the clothes I put on hold and I made a stop to grab some extra bralettes which I shoved up my sleeve in a blind spot. Then I very luckily got into an open fitting room when nobody was at the entrance and I just went right into the room. Shout out to whoever decided to leave two pairs of spandex shorts in there so when I concealed my clothes on body, I could at least leave the fitting room with more things.
So I only paid $18 for a pair of sweat pants to de-suss (who puts stuff on hold, comes back, and doesn’t even buy anything?) but they’re not pictured.
Bralette x 3 = $75 Super loose but cute and soft grey top = $26 Another comfy dress lmao = $32 Free pair of comfy grey pants = $25 Bûrts bees = $5
Then the drug mart. BITCH they RFID EVERYTHING and I removed every tag but one. I didn’t notice it because I got a phone call. I didn’t beep. Their towers are off. I almost got another clarisonic but an employee started CSing me. Whatever. I’ll be back for her (the clarisonic) in a few days/weeks.
Drug store
Cliniqûe makeup remover = $32 Joico = $29 Deodorant x 2 = $8 Gimme brow = $32 Body wash coconut = $11 Body spray = $10 Sheet mask = $8.50 La rochè pôsay milk makeup remover = $22 I could have got more but I was in a hurry. Ugh. Always regret not getting more.
Total with 8% tax = $340.74

liftelaine’s never fail UO kanken method
Alright ladies, gents, and those who don’t buy into the gender binary, in this post I will reveal the method that has gotten me 5 Kankens in the past 3 days. These little guys boost extraordinarily well (I sold one tonight in seven min flat) so take heed.
Step One: Use the UO App or website to determine which kankens (if any) are available at your local store. Check yelp for pictures of where the kankens are displayed. This way you won’t have to waste time in store looking for them!
Step Two: Head to the store! Make sure you have your magnet and if you wear a bra it is stored in there! If you don’t wear a bra keep the magnet in your underwear.
Step Three: Enter the store carrying a non-sus bag of some kind that you will carry your new kanken out in. I use my black kate spade lane which looks small but fits kankens of any size. I honestly love this purse so much i’d recommend boosting for one. it’s pictured below! PM me for more info!

Step four: Alright let’s get down to business. grab a UO shopper tote. They are black and not see-through and you can ask an SA for one. They are at every UO store I’ve ever been to. Your first stop is the kanken display. Pick one out and put it in your bag (the minis are the safest though the method is the same for all of them). For all sizes I recommend picking a black one, especially for your first kanken lift, as they blend very well with the shopper bag so SAs might not notice you carrying it as easily. That said i’ve never had trouble with other colors.
Step five: You find this exact jacket

This is the BDG 80s Trucker Jacket in Black. Black is best but other colors work too. But you have to use the BDG Trucker. You take one and put it in your bag with the kanken.
Step Six: You find a blindspot/a place where no one is around or watching. Make sure there are no customers near you either because this step can look very weird. Hang the jacket on some rack and unbutton it. On the inside directly above the sewn in tag that says BDG and gives the size there is a little loop of denim that people use to hang the jacket on a hook etc. Attached to one of the top handles of the kanken there is a little button thingy used to clip the two top handles together (pictured below) you want to clip the kanken using this button to the little denim cloth hook inside the jacket then button up the jacket hiding the kanken inside.

Step Seven: Your kanken is now concealed! Go to the fitting room to try on the jacket (and some other stuff so they don’t focus on the jacket). Once you’re in the fitting room unbutton the jacket, unclip the kanken, untag it, roll that little guy up and put him in your bag/purse! Hide the tags in the inside pocket of the trucker jacket (god i don’t own this jacket but i love it, great lifting aid)
Step Eight: leave the fitting room and tell the attendant that you’re taking the jacket! Pretend (not too obviously) to change your mind about the jacket on the way to the register and put it back where you got it. Leave with your brand new kanken!!!!
OKAY SO
I realize the text description of this method might not be 100% clear… so I’m planning on making a vid of the way I clip the kanken in a UO dressing room tomorrow! Stay tuned lovelies!
