i miss when i’d stay on the phone with you all night until i was done packing

how you stayed on the phone with me at the airport because you know id get anxious

how we’d countdown the days until we see eachother again

and now,

i feel like a burden

biting my tongue everytime i have the urge to talk to you

feeling so lonely without the man i love most keeping me company, giving me love, and making sure i’m okay

i feel so alone in this relationship

so alone that i’m sitting here in this uncomfortable chair at the international houson airport with tears coming down my eyes

so alone that i had to tear my eyes away from the thin papers of my romance novel

just to write out my thoughts that i feel are not safe with you anymore

it doesn’t feel right

i don’t believe love feels this way

a constant pull on my heart but because of the worst reasons

and now

i wonder if you’ll ask me how my flight is going at all

if you think about me at all

if you love me at all

tonight i got hit with a wind of sadness.. and i cant pinpoint the reason.. when i do think of all the shitty things in my lif,e i end up even more sad..

I cant handle hearing people be sad about missing their parents

because i just think of my dad and how I miss him like nothing i have ever experienced before...

'but ill never get to see him again

and it haunts me

despite all of this, I am grateful that my mom is alive and well.

The best walk of my life

I was listening to my podcast as the sun casted upon the land. The wind howled around my body as I placed one foot in front of the other. Dogs were out and about with their families. I saw about 5 dogs, my favorite was a white coated long haired husky? I saw a swing and almost didn't walk over... I chose to go swing because I wanted to, and I didn't want to regret not going after the fact.

It was perfect weather. All sorts of shadows were being casted. I just wanted the wind to scoop me up and take me away.

A gloomy but mild day complete with a possum sighting. The roads are still dead, which is how I managed to trigger the speed sign outside a school.
