Got in the car yesterday, Dad said 'your bap guys have been on the radio'

myself, knowing the majority of Korea sleep on b.a.p let alone the other side of the planet, is naturally very suspicious, and says this is not true

dad: 'no seriously, they're saying they are the new biggest thing, bigger than 1direction' because that is all my country has to represent us

me: *still not believing it*

so my dad says 'there's 7 members and ones called sugar?' he says 'sugar' like it's a stage name with inappropriate connotations

me: *has flashbacks of when my dad got me a bts hoodie after getting it confused with bap*

me: *very much triggered*
