Goodbye Love | Seblaine

Blaine smiled, offering the Switch a soft nod as he turned his head enough to look back at him. “It’s as amazing as you described it and more,” He paused for a brief moment, pressing a soft kiss to the other man’s lips. “But I think that has more to do with who I’m here with, Monsieur.” He affectionately bumped their noses together, then looked back ahead at the scenery that was gradually getting darker as the sun sank further behind the horizon. “And the sightseeing in Paris was one of my favorite parts too. I think I’d actually like to try a McDo’s macaron on the way to the airport, if that’s not too much of an ask Monsieur?” He asked, moving his arms to rest his hands over Sebastian’s, giving them a gentle squeeze.

���Good, I’m glad,” he responded into the kiss, then smiled at the innocent nose bump. As Blaine turned away, he too followed his gaze to the setting sun. He was never more at peace than when he was in the French countryside and that was even more true now that he had Blaine with him. They talked about it for months, but he didn’t think they would actually get here. It always sounded like a dream and now it felt like a dream. A dream that was already coming to an end. “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself and I’m glad I was finally able to bring you into my world for a little bit.” He nodded and kissed Blaine’s shoulder. “Of course that’s not too much to ask. I’ll make it happen.”

Goodbye Love | Seblaine

Blaine had had to splash some water on his face a couple times before Sebastian had joined him at the pool, but he was sure the puffiness surrounding his eyes had gone down by now. He didn’t want to make this harder on Sebastian than he was sure it already was. That wouldn’t be fair to him, and Blaine knew that. He was standing at the edge of the pool, arms crossed on top of the concrete as he took in the view of the countryside before him - sunset illuminated trees and the beginnings of a symphony of chirping crickets he’d been submerging himself in just moments before. A small smile formed at the feeling of Sebastian’s arms moving around him, followed by lips pressing to the back of his neck. “It’s stunning, yeah,” He murmured, slowly leaning back into the other man’s chest. “I kind of don’t want to leave but, I know we have to. I guess I just… got used to this, Monsieur.” Us.

Sebastian just nodded, tightening the hold around Blaine’s middle and pulling him closer. He was instantly at ease from feeling the weight of his body against his. “I don’t want to leave either,” he admitted. Though he was sure the real reason he wasn’t saying was the same as Blaine’s. Or at least he hoped so. “I never want to leave this place when I’m here, but...” he cut himself off, too scared to finish that statement. There had been a lot of close calls over their time together, but there wasn’t a moment he wanted to bare his soul more than this one. “I’d say I’ve been feeling pretty spoiled with you here. Was The Chateau as wonderful as I described it?”

Seblaine || The Great Lawn

Blaine smiled against Sebastian’s lips, one hand coming up to carefully rest over his cheek as he allowed himself to get lost in the moment. He could feel Sebastian reciprocating what he was putting out, and that was a sense of validation he hadn’t known he needed until he got it. The kiss continued for a few moments more before Blaine was slowly pulling back, carefully resting his forehead to Sebastian’s as his thumb slowly moved across the other man’s cheekbone. Then he opened his eyes, the smile unable to be wiped off his face. The moment felt beyond intimate, and he found himself subconsciously moving even closer. “We better eat. Y’know, before bugs and ants attack,” He murmured in a soft and playful tone, but made no move to separate just yet. The truth was, he didn’t want to.

Sebastian was engulfed in the moment and with Blaine. There was no panic or looking around to see who could see them. He was completely at ease and he just relished in that. The lack of worry made room for other emotions, which was why those feelings of adoration, contentment, and... love he’d been trying to suppress were very present. Not to mention, there was this perfect picnic that was laying out for them and the memories of their first couple of days in New York fresh on his mind. He licked his lips when Blaine pulled away, those words hanging on the end of his tongue once again. I love you. But he just smiled at the suggestion. “Mhm. That’s a good idea.” But he didn’t pull away either. Instead he just sat there with Blaine in his arms for as long as he could. Eventually they would eat and stargaze. But for now he just enjoyed their embrace.

Goodbye Love | Seblaine

The walk from the master bedroom to the pool felt like a long one. The sun was just setting which meant that the lights were illuminating the pool and the surrounding area. And more importantly, most of the staff was gone for the day. Only the security guard and the housekeeper was on sight but retired to their rooms. Sebastian smiled immediately upon seeing Blaine and just watched him for a bit before making himself known. “Hi, sweetheart. It’s gorgeous out here at night, isn’t it?” He asked, before stepping into the pool and coming up behind the submissive, wrapping his arms around him and pressing a kiss to the back of his neck. “Very missable.” ( @blaineandersonsub )

Seblaine || The Great Lawn

Blaine couldn’t help the butterflies that filled his chest as he listened to Sebastian repeating what he’d said, a wide smile gradually spreading across his face. Part of him had always believed it, that what they had was special and far more than just sex, but that just confirmed it without a shadow of a doubt. He couldn’t even bring himself to think about the food he’d just spent time unpacking, all of his focus was on the man next to him. “It’ll never be the same for me either, Monsieur,” He basically whispered, his eyes locking on the other man’s lips. As if seeing each word formed made it more real, because in a sense it did. “You know… you’re etched all over this city for me too. London, France, my beach house, my dorm room… all of it,” He breathed out, the three words he’d been dying to say at several points now sitting on the tip of his tongue. He didn’t let them out, he knew he couldn’t. It wouldn’t be fair to either of them for so many reasons. So instead, he just leaned in and pressed another softer, lingering kiss to Sebastian’s lips, letting his actions speak louder than he ever could.

Sebastian was overwhelmed with emotion. Everything so far had been perfect, and as each moment passed he was falling deeper and deeper. The moment to spare himself this vulnerability was long gone and he was getting far too comfortable with just letting it happen. And now that they had the freedom to act how they wanted, without fear, it gave Sebastian a false sense of security. But instead of fighting it, he just gave in. In their little bubble here in the city he loved, he allowed himself to pretend. Pretend that Blaine was his. Pretend that Blaine knew exactly how he felt. Instead of forming those words, he did the same as Blaine, pouring it into the kiss so that he knew exactly what this meant to him. Exactly what he meant to him.

“You don’t have to thank me, sweetheart. There’s no other way I would have wanted to spend my Summer.”

Seblaine || The Great Lawn

Blaine smiled to himself at the affectionate kiss to his shoulder, followed by the gentle touches to his back. Part of him loved knowing strangers who saw them together would think they were together. It was a fantasy he was allowing himself to live while he could, while they were far away from Florida and the need to hide. He finished setting the food out, then leaned over to press a lingering kiss to Sebastian’s lips while he chewed. He let out a soft laugh, then grabbed one of the water bottles. “I’ve loved it so far. This is… so much more than I ever could have hoped for, Monsieur. The subway, the tram… it’s… all different with you. Better,” He said, moving to curl into the other man’s side as one arm snaked around the Switch’s middle, the other hand grasping his newly uncapped water bottle. “What about you? What’s one thing you think you’re going to remember the most?”

Blaine took the words right out of Sebastian’s mouth. Everything did seem better when experiencing it with Blaine. He knew the other man felt the same way but it was still nice to hear it confirmed. Especially when his feelings on the matter were so strong. As Blaine moved in closer, Sebastian easily wrapped his arm around him, settling back onto the blanket they were spread out on. He kissed Blaine again and again, the smile on his face spreading with each connection. He was content and his chest was warm. He couldn’t get enough of this feeling of... happiness. “This,” he answered honestly. “All of it. New York will never be the same for me. I will always think of you now when I’m here.” Perhaps that was a little too honest but with what he really wanted to say looming over his head, this was much more preferable. “You’re etched all over this city. All over my apartment.” All over me. But he didn’t say that last part.
