Was inspired by @wolfertinger666 to make some OCs based on my perception of my own body as a non-passing transgender person, and to show that I’m still queer no matter what I look like + it’s alright for me to be loved despite how I look. OC bios under the cut.

Blaise (they/them, left) is a mouse. They’re based on me as an individual, and therefore look like me and have a similar personality. They’re skittish and quiet, but also like to learn to do new things and please other people.

Shiloh (he/they, right) is a fox, based on my boyfriend but doesn’t resemble him too much. I’m using him as a way to show that despite Blaise not looking androgynous like nonbinary people are expected to, they’re still nonbinary and deserve some form of love and affection. Shiloh, despite being a predator animal to Blaise’s prey, loves them very dearly. (My boyfriend is a much more abrasive person than I, but we’re very much in love and have a good relationship.)

Expect more art of these two; drawing Blaise is very gender affirming for me, and it helps me feel better about myself.
