I don't know if it's possible to more clearly express "I would like to play frisbee please" without actually shoving the disc in my face.
[Video Description: Guinevere, a red cocker spaniel, lays on a bed. She mouths a rope disc toy meaningfully. She sniffs it pointedly, while making pleading eye contact with the photographer. She turns sadly to the side, then slides her eyes back in an accusing side-eye toward the photographer again. She can't hold the accusing look long, and turns her head back, appealingly licking her lips and perking her ears. (We played frisbee.) Sound is muted.]

I just love the idea that warrior cats leaders have different styles when it comes to picking warrior names so there could be one that just infamously comes up with just like weird name combos. whole generation of apprentices cringing their way to the warriors ceremony in anticipation of getting a fail new name. Rite of passage for the clan at this time. The leader has no idea because no one feels like saying anything

I think it would be really fucking funny to write a piece of fiction set entirely in real life but using lazy fantasy worldbuilding talk. I gather coin* for the road west** - I will need it to enter the Capital.***

So I had to return a book to the library today and I came straight from the horse farm. I went to the front desk because it was an item on loan from another library and I wasn’t sure if it had to be checked in differently. The librarian said no, it could get returned in the normal slot but she could take it and check it in right away.
It was only when I got back to the car that I realized I had walked into the library covered in dirt from head to toe and handed back a book about grave robbing.

Psst. Writer. Write that idea down. Yeah, it’ll stay in your brain forever and all, but it won’t. Write it down.

OK new game. Use this website to see how common your first name is, and then put that number in the tags.
