Little old kitty 🥺 he gets gabapentin and adequan injections to help with his arthritis and hip nerve pain, and I get him a new water fountain to try a few times a year cause he's so picky about drinking water. He's still happy and quite healthy (though old enough we expect his kidneys to go naturally before they're affected by the gabapentin), but I've decided that animals don't cross the Rainbow Bridge. They become Heroes of the Horn, and reincarnate in times of crisis as saviors. This is a blanket my grandma gave me from Columbia Gardens in Butte, Montana. It was a theme park my dad went to as a kid, and sisterly existed from the end of the 19th century until the '70s. The blanket is dated as for a 1909 guest, but I think it was probably a later remake or memorial of the way the park was before the Great Depression. It used to hang on my grandpa and grandma's wall, and has hung on their couch since it was taken down. Really precious heirloom of my dad's childhood, and in such awesome condition. I'm so happy to have it.
